Thoughtful Thursday – Stampin’ Up! Picture Perfect Card

Happy Thursday Everyone!

I hope you are all having a wonderful week!  I have been so productive with my Stampin’ Up! business!  So excited about that!  I was getting a little bit behind.  ðŸ™‚  Today I have already filmed, edited, and uploaded THIS video along with filming my Going Global Online Class Video!!  Woo hoo!!  Now I just need to finish  my boys’ Valentine treat bags, edit my Going Global Class, make thank you cards for my February customers, finish my group team swap, oh ya…….  and then I have to be MOM and start my taxi service at 3:45!  In just a little over an hour!!  LOL!!

For the past 2 or 3 days the city where I live has been REALLY smoggy and foggy!!  I have NEVER experienced this where we live and I guess it’s not super normal.  My daughter called me from school on Tuesday and asked why she couldn’t see hardly anything!  I hadn’t even noticed!  Today we woke up and the smog/fog had actually FROZEN and there were crystals floating in the air and stuck to EVERYTHING!  Karlee told me it’s called frozen fog.  I’ve never heard of it but you all probably have.  I just stepped outside to take this picture from My Pink Loft’s balcony and you can’t even see the mountains!

Here is today’s video!  I am starting a weekly segment on my blog called “Thoughtful Thursdays”.  I want to remember why I started making cards in the first place and actually brightening someone’s day with a hand stamped card.  I encourage you all to do the same thing.  Please use #mpsthoughtfulthursday if you would like me to check out the cards you have made and why you have made them.  I am robynstamps on Instagram.

This card has turned out to be one of the most favorite cards I have made this year.  I was feeling uninspired this morning but pulled out these stamp sets and some ink pads and started playing.  It’s a good lesson to us all that we sometimes need to get inky to get “thinky”!!  LOL!!  Do you like my quote??!!

I love the three step stamping – beautiful. You are so creative – I'll have to try the getting inky and see if it helps me "thinky" too. 🙂

    Hi Robyn,

I hope the weather has gotten better where you are. I love this card very pretty with the three stamp color technique. Thanks for sharing.

Very beautiful card! I love the effect of the three step stamping! I have a quick question about the fast fuse. Do you feel it's cost effective compared to to using our ATG tape? I notice more people are using fast fuse for both cards and boxes verses ATG and red tape.
