Spiritual Sunday & It’s my BIRTHDAY!

Happy Robyn’s Birthday Everyone!!!

LOL!!  Can you tell how much I love my birthday?!  I had a really good one this year.  Nothing extravagant but a lot of time with the ones I love.

This was me as a baby!!  You couldn’t tell if I was a boy or a girl for almost 2 years!  I was so super cute!!

Not a lot has changed over the years as you will still find me on the phone with my BFF most days!

My chickens were right there to wish me a Happy Birthday this morning.  It didn’t hurt that I bribed them with bread.  We also have another new egg layer!  We got 11 eggs yesterday and 8 today.  Pretty soon we will be getting 20 a day!  Bring over your empty egg cartons people!

We went to bed last night with absolutely NO snow on the ground!  It had almost completely melted off of everything.  Then we wake up to THIS today and of course, church wasn’t cancelled because this is Utah and not Oklahoma!  My little boys don’t think there will be school tomorrow but I had to remind them that Utah county has only had ONE snow day in the past 10 years and it was for like 4 feet of snow!  You are going to school kids!!!

Well, of course, I had to do a snow angel on my birthday!  I could hardly think of anything else the last half hour of church!  (Sorry teachers!)
I do want to share a little bit about my Sunday lessons with you guys.  Sacrament was AWESOME!  We got to hear from our Stake President, President Somerfeldt.  He is such an inspiration to me.  He talked about the parable of the 10 virgins.  Am I going to be like the 5 that were prepared to see the Savior or am I going to be like the 5 who were good people but unprepared.   I know who I want to be like but I will have to rely on the grace of my savior for all my imperfections.
We talked about Charity and what it meant to have Charity during our last hour called Relief Society.  We went over the verses from 1 Corinthians 13..
“Charity Suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
Charity never faileth:…”
Let’s just say that I have a LOT to work on and I am thankful for the chance.
I hope you all have a wonderful Sunday!  Don’t forget that I am announcing the winner of the Big Shot tomorrow!!
Big hugs!!
Robyn
Spread the love

    Happy Birthday. This is the first time in 19 years that I haven't gotten to be with my oldest son on his birthday. He was snowed in at school in Raleigh NC. Still hoping to win the big shot. I am going to be generous and pass it on to my SIL. She is always borrowing mine. Pick me! Have a great day!

    Happy Birthday Robyn & Karlee too!!! Hope you both have wonderful days. Love the pictures of the snow. Schools shut down a day in advance this past week because they predicted 3-6" of snow. HAHAHAHA! We barely got 1" It was pretty while it lasted, but nothing compared to your scenery. Simply beautiful.

    Have a SUPER week!
