Quick & Elegant Wedding Card VIDEO Tutorial! Episode 444

Saturday Greetings Everyone!

How is your day going?  Mine has gone by so super fast!  I got up, worked in my office for a bit, went to a wedding reception with my husband, out to lunch, and then back to my office to do some work.  In all honestly, I haven’t accomplished much today!  LOL!!  I did, however, film a quick video for you guys as a SURPRISE SATURDAY video!  I like that new title!  I’ll have to use it again sometime.  ðŸ™‚

Don’t forget that this week I have TWO stamp set giveaways!  Also, you still have a chance to win a Big Shot that I am giving away!  For details, click HERE!

Are you all ready for my quick video tutorial!  I love how it turned out and I was able to use some of my leftover supplies from one of my classes.  That’s using my thinking cap, huh??!!

Chickens, Chickens, Chickens!
So, today was SUPER cold and I still had to go out at least two times to check on my babies chickens.  Do you see how they wait for me by the door as soon as they see me coming?  (It sure is nice to feel loved!)

But, like I said, today was COLD and I definitely was not dressed warm enough for this visit!

Here is little Po!  Do you guys remember when she was just an itty bitty baby??  She just started to squat this week, even though I promise she has layed at least 2 eggs in the past two months!

Here is a pic of Po after we got her.  Andrew brought her home from school after the class watched her hatch so we are basically all she has ever known.  She’s still a little stinker, too!  Very independent and likes to “fly the coop”!

And last but not least, here is my favorite chicken of the week!  It’s Pepper, our green egg layer!  She is back to laying regularly again.  Boy, did I miss those cute green eggs.  I’m so glad I didn’t overreact and get rid of her.  She is back to being a sweetie pie and even likes me to pet her again.  YAY!!

Class Update
I’m so excited to say that ALL of my boxes for my Grateful Bunch Online Class arrived last night!  My UPS driver is so awesome!  I sent him home with 2 dozen fresh eggs for his trouble and also am going to help him start his own blog!  It’s funny the conversations he and I have about my business!  I get A LOT of boxes!  I’m grateful that we have the best UPS driver in the state of Utah!  Hello Lyle!

(There were still 2 other HEAVY boxes in My Loft that my husband brought up.  I tell you what…….  Punches are HEAVY in large amounts!  I am so happy that nothing was damaged in any of the boxes!  Thank you Stampin’ Up for your great packaging!  One of the workers even left me a cute thank you note in one of the boxes!)

Here are some of my class project packets layed out and ready to put in clear envelopes for class kits!  This is probably one of my favorite things about my online classes.  I LOVE getting the class ready, cutting the materials, packaging up the kits and shipping them to YOU!  Thanks for your support!

And, lastly, I would like to leave you with a picture of Madie with my mom’s hairless cat named Pearl.  She loves Madie and Madie loves her!

I’ll see you all back here tomorrow for my Spiritual Sunday post.  I am teaching Gospel Principals tomorrow on “Prayer”.  Hopefully I have some awesome insights to share with you all tomorrow.   Have a wonderful Saturday night!

Hugs,
Robyn

The wedding cards are definately elegant and lovely. Love that glimmer paper! I can't believe your mom has a hairless cat lol. They are very different looking. At least it doesn't shed.

My husband is the same way about trying to "get a rise out of me." very funny. My consultant has decided to stay in but if she doesn't start doing classes soon I will have to switch over to you. We are traveling south for now but will return to MT in Feb. Love your simple, elegant card. Kathy

Its been cold by Arizona standards looking forward to a much warmer week, Do you have heaters for the chickens in their coop so they can stay warm? Thanks for the cute card idea.

    • robynstamps says

Hi Mindy! No, we don't use heaters. My chickens are very cold hardy and actually play in the snow a bit. I have a nice indoor coop that stays dry and warm with their body heat. Chickens produce quite a bit of heat when they are all bundled together for the night.

Your wedding card is lovely, and very appropriate for many occasions to celebrate! Loved seeing the chickens, too! Try to stay warm out there! It has suddenly turned quite chilly here in eastern Pennsylvania after having some mild winter weather.

We LOVE our UPS man too! And my kids love to get packages! And i love hearing about your chickens…i keep wanting to get some too but too big of a project to take on at the moment while pregnant. Maybe in the fall…

Great Card. I will remember this one for
future use.Amazing how the chickens can
tolerate the weather. Doesn't seem to bother
them at all. They look happy as chickens can be:)

Well, I don't pet her hairless cat! LOL!! She feels like a rat, not that I would know what that feels like. Hairless cats are weird cats. They like to snuggle and to hide under blankets.

Robyn, I love this card! It is so pretty and simple I think it's the colors. I love hearing about the chicken – they are so cute! It's so funny to hear about your UPS driver but with all those shipments you would have to get to know each other 🙂

Stunning Wedding card, I do like the easy pretty way to make cards these days. Love your chicken photos and how your little baby chick grew up. Darling group you have. Beautiful daughter, I've really never seen a hairless cat before, so different and interesting as I suffer from bad allergies being around kitties. I do have to pet them no matter what lol.
    Happy Sunday, hugs, Lori m
