Update on My Pink Loft and Utah!

Hello my dear friends!

It has been a long time, I know.  We are about 2 months away from moving into our new home.  The time is tick, tick, ticking away!!  I am so happy that our rental is only 3 miles away from our new build as I am over there at least 2 times a day.

Here are some of the latest pics of My Pink Loft.  I still haven't decided what color the walls will be.  I know you are all shouting "PINK!!!" but I might want a more neutral color so I can accessorize with pink.  I have about 6 more weeks to stew over it.  I am going to be purchasing these cubbies from Ikea. It is sooooo awesome having an Ikea nearby!  Can you say……  SHOPPING!!??

Here is our loft framed and now with insulation.

I hope you are all having a great Summer!  I'll check in soon!  The countdown is looking like about 8 weeks!!

  3. I LOVE IKEA!!! My craft room (although much smaller than yours) has cube units from IKEA and I LOVE all the storage area! They have new fabric drawers that are HUGE and are very sturdy! I just finished repainting/new carpet and reorganizing my craft room. It was fun but very tiring! At least you have a lot of "helpers"!! I'm looking forward to hearing of your new adventure in Utah...near family!

  12. Looks like you have some beautiful views Robyn and it looks like the house is coming along nicely! How wonderful you have Ikea close to you, I think you will certainly enjoy shopping there. lol I've never been to an Ikea store, but seeing the things people have bought has me wishing we had one in my neck of the woods. Well, on second thought, I guess my hubby is glad that we don't have one! Hugs, Brenda

  15. A great wall color is a light tan--Benjamin Moore's Clay Beige. It looks great with most accent colors and I can't wait until your Pink Loft is up and running again!

  16. Very cool space! I was thinking...gray is a good color to use and goes well with black, white and pink. I painted my bedroom Porpoise color from behr. I think it's Behr...it's a Home Depot brand. :) I hope you find the perfect inspiration. Much love!!!

  17. Hi Robyn-your new house is going to be great! I used the same cubbies in my craft room as well! I stacked (stood up) my 12x12 papers in them-I went to the Safeway to the wine department and got empty wine boxes as they are about 12.5x12.5 in size and cut them in half and then stacked the paper by color and then popped them in! The boxes keep the paper from sliding down as the paper is being used up! Congrats on your new house! Rebecca
