Hanging Out at Karlees and an Apple Card!

Hello Everyone!

We made it safely to New Mexico to visit Karlee on Thursday night.  I drove all 5 kids by myself the 12 hours in one day.  It actually wasn't too bad.  Yesterday Karlee, the kids, and I just pretty much hung out all day.  Such fun times!

I made this cute apple card during my surgery recovery.  I forgot to share it because I was planning on filming a video tutorial on it.  I haven't had time to do that so here it is!  I embossed the apple using colored embossing powder from Stampin' Up, a Versamark Pad, and a heat gun.

Karlee and I are going to shop and finish organizing her new craft room (which we will share pictures of soon!), while Karlee's husband takes the kids to the Bounce place.  FUN!

Also, for those of you who requested a Book of Mormon from me, they will be going out in the mail early next week.  For those of you who would still like a copy, I would love to send you one!  We will start reading it together in a couple of weeks.  Email me at mypinkstamper@gmail.com if you would like me to put a copy in the mail for you.  Karlee and I read it together last night with her family.  Such a great book to read with your family.  :)

Checking in!

Hello Everyone!

Can you believe I am checking in?  Did you all miss me?  I'm so sorry that I didn't post anything after the tornadoes.  My family and I were safe although a lot around us suffered much damage.  Our church family has spent much time, and continues, to help clean up the tornado damage in the surrounding areas.

Life with all the kids home this Summer has been VERY busy!  All 5 of my kids, and myself, have been super busy with tennis.  It's been nice to be outdoors getting exercise and the weather has been nice but is now getting much hotter.

I leave in a few days with my kids to go visit Karlee and then head over to Utah for the week of the 4th!  So excited to see my BFF and my family!

Here are some pictures from the past month.

My girls had a week of Girls Camp with the Stillwater, Oklahoma LDS Stake

My little 6 year old has been having a blast outdoors looking for bugs and finding a lot of butterflies!

My kids have been playing so much tennis.  2 of them can almost beat me now!

My sweet husband and I had our 17th Anniversary!

My garden is growing like crazy!  I'm learning a lot, though!

I played on a women's USTA Tennis league.  Our Team Crush is in 2nd place right now!  Shooting for #1!

My daughter, husband, and I had the opportunity to go and help with the tornado damage from the devastating tornadoes that hit around our area the week of May 19th.

Our wonderful full time missionaries spent many days and hours in Moore cleaning up from the storms.  They were sore and tired every night but felt that they were in the service of their Heavenly Father by serving their brothers and sisters.

Another neat thing this past month was that we had a film crew from our church (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints) visit our ward and some of our members for interviews.  The following link is the video about missionary work that is about my ward.

I am the girl in purple during one of the meetings.  If you would like to know more about my church or receive a Book of Mormon please send me a quick e-mail and I will get one in the mail.  Even if you aren't interested in my church the Book of Mormon is a GREAT read!  We should have an online book club about it, it is that good!  LOL!  Here is my e-mail for questions.... mypinkstamper@gmail.com.

I love you all and hope to update more soon.  It has been a CRAZY, busy Summer but I am loving it!

Hugs,
Robyn
