Vinyl Car Project - Go Crush!

Hello Everyone!

Karlee left on Thursday and I have been playing catch up since then.  I do have some winners from the Monday video to post.  I will do that shortly.  I am a little under the weather today so I've been playing in my craft room!  No energy to do laundry or clean the house, though.

Using the Cricut Craft Room I designed our team logo using Sports Mania and Cricut Font cartridges.

I then hooked up my Cricut Mini and CUT!  Super easy on my new computer.  I didn't even have to reset it up!

After I cut it I peeled off all the extra vinyl that I didn't need.

I then added Transfer Tape over the top.

I then transferred the vinyl image on to my car!

Doesn't it look so cute!

I made enough of these for each of the members of my USTA Team Crush!  I hope they like them!

I have many rolls of vinyl that I have purchased from signwarehouse.com over the years.  I also purchase my transfer tape from them.

  2. So cute! I haven't used the craft room before, and I don't have a gypsy. I know Provo doesn't have them anymore but I have seen people selling theirs. Would it be better to use the craft room or to get a gypsy? I need some input and advice! :)

  7. Super cute Robyn. They are going to love them. I've just started doing vinyl and so far I love it but my question is do I need a special vinyl to put it on the car. Like an outdoor vinyl or will my regular stuff work. Thanks so much for helping and for keeping my creative juices flowing.

This is a great project. I am about to embark on a vinyl word cloud for a friend and will be looking into your source for vinyl.

  12. Robyn: Does it stick to the window on the inside or the outside of the car?
What a fun idea. I've gotten tired of using the markers to show team spirit on the windows of the car. This is a great clean and less mess project to try!! I'm so glad you are so crafty and are willing to share your ideas.
I hope you feel better soon. - Alisa
