Hello from Utah & a Shout Out!

Hello my Pink Friends!

Just wanted to check in for a minute all the way from Utah!  My husband and I had this little trip planned before everything happened with me, and we decided that I was well enough to travel on a direct 2 hour flight.  It's been nice seeing my mom and sister since they were not able to be with me during my traumatic experience.  We travel back home tomorrow but it was a nice break.  I hung out in my hotel room and rested while my husband spent most of the day at a Convention.  I'm looking forward to being back in my own bed tomorrow night, although we lucked out and found a good hotel which we will stay at again when we visit.

If you've never been to Utah, here are some pictures I took.  The mountains have always amazed me, ever since I first visited Utah when I was 20 years old.  Hope you are all having a nice weekend!  I'll visit with you guys very soon!

I also wanted to do a little shout out to some of my long time viewers!  As often as I can, I like to check out your blogs, too!!  Please let me know where to visit you in my comments and I would love to stop by and say "hi"!   I also want to thank all of you who do leave me comments.  I read every one of them and am touched that you take the time.

Tonight I went over and visited these wonderful blogs.  You should stop over and say "hi", too!

  1. Hey Robyn

So thankful you are feeling well enough to travel and getting to see family. Hope you continue to feel well and stronger each day.

Thanks for sharing the beautiful mountain pictures of Utah. I have never been there, and would love to visit.

Good to see you posting. Get lots and lots of rest when you can. Take good care of yourself. It is so important especially when we are caretakers ourselves. For me, it's now my turn to take care of my mom who is 91. :)

Thanks for the blog links to Karen and Jaren, I will be sure to stop over and say "HI"

  10. I'm so glad to see that you were able to make your trip. It is beautiful! Must be very therapeutic to spend time with family and see those beautiful mountains. I have been a "bad blogger" for quite a long time but I always try to check in on everyone. Sorry you had a rough go. Life definitely throws us curveballs when you least expect it.

  11. Robin, I'm so sorry that you've had recent troubles. I wanted to share with you that several years ago when I bought a Cricut, Wild Card cartridge, and a few supplies...I had NO clue what to do with it! I figured I could figure it out. I almost took it all back I was so frustrated! THEN I found your blog, and I read/watched everything you had on Wild Card. I learned SO much about my Cricut! Now, a few years later, I have the Expression, Imagine, Cuttlebug, and a recently purchased Cameo. I have a room dedicated to my craftiness! I deal with numbers and business all day long and time in that craft room is my release....my time to let my brain settle down and relax. I start working with the paper and creating something and my brain lets go. So, from me to you...THANK you for all of the inspiration and education that your blog provided to me. Honestly, without it, I am sure I would've returned those items and given up trying paper crafting.

  16. So fun to see pics of Utah. (I'm guessing northern Utah. I can't see any red dirt.) Where in Utah did you take these photos? I'm dying of curiosity.

Glad you are recovering. Your poor mom must be so very glad to see you after your traumatic experience.

I'm still praying for your speedy recovery!

  20. Thank you so much Robyn for giving me a shout-out! I admire your blog so much and give you all the credit for even knowing how to use my Cricut! It means so much to me that you visited my little spot on the web! Thank you!!!
Love the Utah pics. It has to be one of the most beautiful states! I got the chance to drive through it several years ago when I went with my friend's family to drop her off at BYU. I have such great memories of that trip. It was a LONG way to drive since I'm from south Louisiana, but so worth it!

  22. So glad to hear you are on the mend and were able to catch up with your Mom and Sister. I have been reading your blog for a very long time, since I got my cricut, which would have been in about 2006/2007(?) I think! I just love your positive outlook on life.

I don't have a blog to share, but hope you will continue with your updates :)

  26. Hey Robyn, I've been reading your blog since the very beginning when you had your son. I remember the story you told about your son being in the swing and one of your other kids feeding him Raisins .... I LOVE your blog, sorry to hear that you had such a scare, I know that it must be very hard to go through and all the emotional stuff that comes along with a health issue like that.
I'm so glad you are doing better and that God had his hand on you during all of it.
Glad you were able to get away with your husband I'm sure the both of you needed that time.
Lots of prayers for you and your family!!! Thank you for sharing your life with us.
