Valentine's Goodie Bags!

 Hello Everyone!

Long time, no post!  Right???  I honestly just haven't been in the blogging mood.  I'm not sure what's going to happen to My Pink Stamper right now.  I have so many things going on and just being a mom is taking up so much time.  There is a season to everything we do and I am thinking that my blog season might be passing soon.  That sounds so sad, huh??  I will never leave you guys or forget you but you might not hear from me nearly as much as you have in the past.  I'll try to share when I can but can't promise much.

The flu that I had for about 2 weeks just knocked me out.  When I recovered, I realized that a lot of things in my house have been passed up.  I am trying to spend more time preparing meals for my family and making a peaceful, clean, safe place for them.

I made some goodie bags last night for my boys' Valentine parties tomorrow.  Hope you like them!!  I used Create a Critter and one of my Punny-licious stamp sets.  I will try to share more pics from our Valentine's Day activities tomorrow.  Remember that I always do a PINK breakfast for my kids!  I already bought everything.  This year I am going to add heart-shaped pancakes to the mix!  I am also making a special dinner for them, too!

  1. These are super cute! I totally understand about blogging taking up so much time. I took almost a year off and just came back recently. Sometimes it just feels like too much. I only have 2 kiddos, but I homeschool and bake from scratch and even though we are home a lot I am constantly busy. I can't even imagine with your church responsibilities and all, you have to do what feels right to you at this time in your life. Blogging can be fun, but it can also feel like a burden, and if that happens it's time for a break.

  2. Oh no I'm bummed!! Hate to see you having to cut back from blogging, but I can understand how busy things get (been there doing that!) I just wanted you to know that I love your videos and your project ideas are so cute and wonderful, I only recently discovered your blog so at least I'll have a good supply of watching and reading to keep me entertained. I hope we do get to see you when you are up to it and able but ultimately you have to do what's best for your family and yourself. But I did want you to know that the work you have done has not been for nothing, your stamps are incredible and your ideas are terrific! You can be proud of what you have accomplished, I wish you all the best in your future endeavors. :)

  7. When I saw these frog toppers, and soooo many of them, scrolling through my dashboard, I just knew it had to be Robyn! Super cute and adorable; don't know how you make so many!! It's amazing just to see the number of goody bags. It's certainly understandable that sometimes our hobbies have to take a backseat to life! So don't go away, just come back when you can. It's always fun catching up.

  12. Robyn, I am so sorry this flu bug bit you and I know how bad it can be. You have been such an inspiration to me, not only in my crafting efforts but in my spiritual growth. You were so much fun at the stampede and CHA events and your blog and I feel almost like we are friends. As a mother and grandmother, I totally understand how things change and admire your dedication to your family. I will miss you. And I wish you the very best.

  15. Hey Robyn! I love reading your posts about everything...not just crafts. I admire how great of a mom you are and you are an inspiration. Your blogging journey has been great to follow and I've learned a TON from you...honestly more than from any other blog out there. You seem to be so great about really listening to God and following where he needs your priorities to be. Family has to come first, but hopefully every now and then you might feel called to let us know how you and your family are doing or letting us get a peek at your latest projects/gardening/baking:)

  18. Well, I don't know what to say. I understand you need to do what is right for you and also that things come and go in our lives and absolutely family comes first 100%. Having said that, you have a real gift for this and I would hate for it to be wasted. So, take that for what it is worth. I don't comment very often, but please know that I read almost all your posts and I can't even begin to tell you how you have inspired me on a creative level and on so many other levels as well. I often ask myself, "WWRD (What would Robyn do?)" LOL Seriously, though, do what feels right in your heart and don't forget about us. I, for one, will always be here and ready to read any information you are willing to share. Love, Meg

  19. Hi Robyn,
Thank you for all that you do. Your creativity is awesome and you are wonderful. I am pretty new to your blog and as I am reading and watching your videos, I don't know how you do it all...Full time mom and she blogs and makes videos, had her own company. You are amazing. Please follow your heart. God and Family does come first. Check in when you can, so we know how you are doing. God Bless You Robyn and your beautiful family...

  20. You do what you need to do for your children and yourself. Crafting is all about expressing yourself. Its not something that should replace living, it should enhance it. Be blessed.

  23. Unfortunately I made the mistake of letting blog hopping be too much of my life. All my friends live inside my computer. That's sad, I admit! Now it seems like all the bloggers are getting out of the business. I go for weeks without talking to anyone as my husband travels a lot. Take care of your family because after God they should be next.

  24. WOW, alot of goodie bags there. Very cute. Love the frogs and the glitter. I agree, sometimes blogging feels like a chore when you have so much else to do, you have to do what is best for you at this time in your life. Family comes first of course, this is fun stuff for you but if you don't have the time, you don't have the time. Maybe, once things get to the way you would like them to be, you will have more time for blogging again. Take care and know that we will always be here for you :)

  25. I know I can not relate because I do not have a blog of my own but I completely understand! Family needs to come first and if it is no longer fun and becomes more of a chore then it is probably time for a break. You will be missed though by many! Thankfully though if we ever need a laugh we can just watch your old videos. Your goodie bags are so cute! I have always wanted to do them for my kids but just don't think I can commit to so many!! Thank you for sharing!

  26. You know, I totally understand how you feel, Robyn. SO many times I hear myself saying my family is the most important thing to me...but my actions say the opposite. I pray that you are able to find a happy balance and that you are also able to find some time to do what gives you peace - whether it be scrapbooking or running or whatever journey you embark on. We love you.

  27. Super cute treat bags! I will say I miss seeing your post and videos all the time but I understand. Blogging can consume you. You did it all your blog and videos and your stamp line and working with cricut at one point. I was thinking wow how does she do it! After I got a blog going I realized how much work it can be and it made me admire you for all you had done while being a mom of five and wife. Just want to thank you so much for inspiring me. I used to fuss and fret over everything I did had to be prefect. When I started watching your videos it made me want to craft and not worry about having the prefect finished project. Now days if I stamp something a little off I say oh well its shows its home made...lol I just really am so happy I was able to be lest for a few years in your blog world. You inspired me to start my own blog it dont have tons of followers but I just enjoy sharing none the less. A few months ago I kinda was going through personal stuff and needed time away from everything. I needed time away from the blog world so i understand. So no matter what you decide to do with my pink stamper know no matter what I really am happy you let us be apart of it and thank you for sharing with us all these years.

  29. Love it and don't be concerned over the blogging and the videos and the other stuff! Your Husband and Children....they are the ones who come first and any woman with a brain recognizes that your family is important to you, the rest of us will be around to read your blog when you get to it. ENJOY YOUR LIFE! We only get one.
