I hope you are having a GREAT Wednesday! This week has been going by sooo fast. Monday and Tuesday I thought I was coming down with something so I took it easy but I feel great today. So glad it wasn't the awful flu going around.
I started reading Book 3 of the Matched trilogy. Not sure if I am liking it or not. Too many different story lines. Have any of you read Matched or Crossed yet? I enjoyed the first two books really well. It's just this last one. I feel like the author is trying to put EVERYTHING in at once and wrap it up but there are a lot of different ideas going on at once. I am not a writer so I'm sure that it's super hard to wrap up a trilogy. What are your thoughts?
I pulled out an old Stampin' Up! stamp set and made this quick card. I used the Promarkers to color the chicken in and My Mind's Eye The Sweetest Thing paper. I am trying to stock up on everyday occasion cards that are ready at my fingertips.

I was wanting to learn more about this series! Apparently it was written by someone that lives in the same little town that I do!
So cute! Lee-Ann :)
What a cute simple card. I need to stalk on some like that too. TFS

I haven't read those books but love it when people discuss books and give opinions so that I sort of know what to expect when I get to read.
Love the card...so cute...the sentiment made me laugh.
What a cute card! I love the sweet background paper...of course, the cute sentiment too!
Very cute!! I have a soft spot for chickens, so I think I might do something similar. Love it.
Super cute! Love the chicken stamp. Not heard of either series. Will check with dh...he reads everything in sight in no time....lol. Hope all is well.
Have a wonderful day!

Hi Robyn,
I haven't heard of those books. I am reading the Hunger Games right now. I saw the movie. I am only on the first book. I usually like to read the books before I see the movies. Your card is so pretty, that chicken is adorable.
I love that stamp set. I need to get it inky. Thanks for the inspiration. I have not read those books. I am finishing the Outlander Series by Diana Gabaldon. It is a good read.
I haven't read the third book yet. I hope it gets better! I've been waiting to read it for so long lol! Very cute card btw :)
Your card is so cute. I love chickens.
I have read all 3of these , follow the author on twitter and I can say..I'm not feeling the 3rd one like I did with the others. However I will say. I Love Love Love Divergent and Insurgent.... Much like a The Hunger Games in that it is set in a "future" sense.. but a whole different spin. I am excited to see where this goes and what the Author has in store. Oh yes and I'm Lovin' the chicken stamp .... and great family photos ...
