Happy Birthday Cards

It's FRIDAY!!

Wow! This week has flown by.  It's been somewhat busy and somewhat not.  Does that even make sense??  LOL!  Last night, as I was sitting in my office waiting for the kids to fall asleep, I created these happy birthday cards from one of the new scrapbooking kits I just got from Pumpkin Spice.  It is called Hip-Hooray from My Mind's Eye.  I wanted these to be super simple cards.  You know, ones I can grab in a hurry when I don't have time to create a masterpiece??  Who am I kidding?  I would probably make ones just like these even if I had all the time in the world?  I just love simple!

Remember that these are SIMPLE cards!!  Great idea to have some of these made and ready to go in your kitchen, car, or purse!

Cinnamon Pumpkin Spice Cupcakes!

Happy Thursday Everyone!

Isn't this such a FUN, crazy time of year?  I love it!!  October is one of my favorite months with all of the smells, colors, and goodies.  I whipped up a batch of my Cinnamon Pumpkin Spice Cupcakes last night for a baby shower I was attending.  I used the Teddy Bear Parade Cricut cartridge to make the toppers and, of course, my favorite face stamps from Peachy Keep Stamps!

Hope you all have a GREAT day!

Happy Birthday Christy!

I cannot believe I posted earlier today without saying Happy Birthday to my big sister, Christy!  I hope you had an AWESOME day!  Wish we lived closer!!

I am 5 inches taller than my sister so I refer to her as my "little" big sister!  LOL!  It's funny because our youngest sister (who is 7 years younger than I am) is at least 3 inches taller than I am!

Happy Halloween Scrapbook Layout

Hi Everyone!

I cannot believe it has been a week since my last post.  Last week was a blur and this week is looking like it might be one, too!  I am enjoying having my 10 year old son home with me all day doing online homeschool.  I wasn't sure how it would go but it is GREAT!

Here is a quick Halloween layout I made using the Recollections Boo Who paper pack along with a bat from Create a Critter, too.  Very simple to make!  Now all I need to do is slap a few pictures on there!

Want a quick update on my garden???  It's going AWESOME!  Our pumpkin is getting HUGE!!

This was my pumpkin on Saturday.

This is my pumpkin today!  It almost doubled in size!!  This baby is going to be HUGE!

My son found this AWESOME cucumbers in my garden.  These are the biggest picklers we've had so far.  They are super yummy!!

Here are some FUN FEST pictures from this weekend!

Hope you are all having a great week!!  I will talk to you soon!

Teddy Bear Parade - If the Broom Fits!

Boo hoo!  Karlee went home this morning and I just got back from taking her to the airport.  Good news is that we filmed 3 more videos on Saturday that I need to edit and upload this week!  1 is a craft video and 2 are cooking videos!  So fun!

I just got this new Cricut Lite Cartridge, Teddy Bear Parade, from Stamps Alive! and I am in love!  It is the CUTEST cartridge EVER!!!

Karlee played a mean silly trick on me Saturday.  She filmed me while I was just being Robyn, dancing and singing in my kitchen.  So don't forget to watch the outtakes in the upcoming videos.
Guess what?  My baby boy, Bray Bray, lost his first tooth in church yesterday!!  My husband told him that he had to go to sleep smiling so that the tooth fairy could see which tooth came out.  I went in a snapped this cute picture before he fell asleep.  Isn't it adorable??  He woke up this morning so excited that the tooth fairy brought him a dollar.  Then he and my 7 year old were discussing how the tooth fairy got into our house this morning.  Too funny!  I love my sweet little kids!

Okay, I've got to get to my tennis game!  I'll see you all tomorrow!!

Holy Cow!!!  Yes, it is a video!  Can you believe it?  I was sitting in my craft room last night and was actually in the mood to film a quick video.  It felt soooo good!  Karlee and I are going to have so much fun filming like old times.  For the past two years when she visited, she was always helping me out with things for my business or upcoming events.  We are just going to film for FUN!!!  So excited!!

Okay, without further ado (did I even spell that right?)......

Cucumber Update & Sunday Stuff!

Happy Sunday All!!

I hope you had a wonderful Sunday?  I had a very uplifting day, so far.  We had what is called Stake Conference today where we were able to hear inspirational talks from some of our local church leaders.   The main theme of this conference was about applying the atonement of Jesus Christ in our lives.  I learned A LOT, to say the least.  The most important thing that I learned was that I am not perfect and neither is anyone else.  We all have our own struggles that we deal with everyday and IF we apply the atonement in our lives and remember WHY we have it in our lives, we can know that He has felt all of our pain and trials.  There were some great personal experiences that some of the speakers shared in which I was very touched by.  I am going to try and apply some of the principles I learned in my daily life.  :)

We cut my cucumber today and had it with our dinner!!  Some of you have e-mailed me and said "DON'T CUT IT YET!  LET IT GROW, ROBYN!"  LOL!!  I think I forgot to mention that this variety is a Pickling Cucumber and I want to pick them when they are about 4-5 inches in length.  Can I tell you how yummy it was!!!  We grew it from a seed and will have a bunch more in the next few weeks.  The bees were pollenating away out there!!

I have GREAT news for you!!  Karlee will be here THIS Wednesday!  For some reason I was a week off and didn't think she was coming until NEXT Wednesday!  I was on the phone with her yesterday and said that I'd see her in a week and a half and she said, "Robyn!  I'll be there on Wednesday, remember??!!"  I think I am going a bit batty before my 40th birthday!  LOL!  I am soooo excited she is coming so soon.  I've honestly had a rough week.  I am feeling like my normal self today but I have been kind of a bear to live with for a few days.  I am grateful for my family and how they put up with me every few months.  We all have weeks like that, right??  I was calling Karlee to tell her that I needed a BFF break when she told me the great news!  LOL!  I love how that worked out.

Okay, I'd better get going.  I made some yummy homemade bread that I need to go deliver.  I am trying to visit some of the ladies in our church who are on the rolls but I haven't seen at church and have never met.  We just want them to know we were thinking of them.  I love how our church looks out for everyone, through the Visiting Teaching program.  If you are curious, you are welcome to read more about my church HERE.

I love you all and will talk to you very soon!!

Garden Update

Hello Friends!

I just wanted to update you on our garden. I cannot believe that we have so many vegetables growing! We have 12 tomatoes, 5 squash, and still only one cucumber so far but it looks like we will have much more. How exciting this is to be able to plant something from a seed, watch it grow and then eat it! We are going to pick the cucumber tonight and share it between the 7 of us. I'm a farmer now! Lol!!

Happy Wednesday Everyone!!

Wow!  It's HOT here today!  I played 2.5 hours of tennis in this humid, muggy, sticky HEAT and it was awful!  It felt like the middle of Summer, not the beginning of September!  I did have a blast playing, though.  I just didn't enjoy the heat!  I bet I burned a ton of calories today!  YAAAYYY!!

Apple Pie Filling

Hello Everyone!

Did you all have a great Labor Day?  We had a few friends over and had a small BBQ.   It was a good time!

Today I found a great deal on a 40 pound box of Gala apples so I decided to make Apple Pie Filling for canning.  I made 18 quarts!  It was fairly easy.  I just googled for a recipe and found quite a few to choose from.  My husband was so impressed (hee hee) that he asked for Apple Cobbler for dessert!  They all loved it!  I didn't taste any of it, though.  I'm still doing Jenny Craig and had my extra goodies over the weekend.  It was very tempting though!!  LOL!!
