What:  The most WONDERFUL Stamp Release YET!!!  The cutest EVER!!

**This WILL be the 2nd Friday of the month!**

So, I have decided to DE-CLUTTER My Pink Loft today!  I know!  It's going to be sooooo much work!  here are some pics I just took and didn't even tidy anything up!

I'm in my organizing mood again that I get in about every 2 years.  I am actually going to combine My Pink Loft AND My Pink Studio!!  I feel guilty having 2 rooms to myself.  We are going to move my oldest son into My Pink Loft (which we will paint so it is not pink anymore but he will have to keep the cheetah carpet for a little bit!), my two little boys into my middle daughter's room, and then that daughter into the boys old room because it is smaller.  Lots of moving things around, organizing and decluttering in the next few weeks.  I want our house to feel clean and neat all the time.  Wish me luck! I am going to put a bit of my scrap/craft stuff in storage so I can pull it out later.  Right now it is overwhelming having so much stuff.  It stifles my creativity.

I hope you are all having a GREAT Summer!  I've been doing A LOT of tennis and A LOT of canning!  Here are some pics I haven't shared with you yet!

  8. That's awesome, Robyn!!! I did that recently...but I think I made a bigger mess. We separated our two kids who were sharing a room but I lost my office/craft space. Now I have my desk and shelves and crafting stuff in the living room...so I can't make a mess...so I can't be creative without a mess.

  22. WOW! You go girl! I am doing the same kind of thing - my son graduates from college and my daughter is getting married - so we need to rearrange who has what room since some are coming back and some are not! Let me know if you come up with any great ideas in your process! Good luck - I'll be thinking about you while I'm doing this as well over the next two weeks! Can't wait for the new release. I just got your ink in the mail - I'm going to play with it today! So excited!

  24. Good luck Robyn! It looks like you need more shelving and big bookcases from Ikea! I forget what they are called....They are white and cover a good part of the wall. I also need one of them! Cheetah carpet, love it!!! I bet your oldest daughter would love it! Have fun doing it and keep us posted!

  26. Hey Robyn, very excited for the release blog hop this week...but hoping that you'd share your pickle recipe (they look divine). My cucumber plants are enormous and I might just need to can some if I get as many as I think I will. Thanks, (if you get the chance).

Wow! What a massive undertaking! Segment the job so you don't get overwhelmed. Remember, it's okay if it takes a few, (or more), cleaning sessions! I recently took on my own space, without employing my own suggestion. I was so exhausted near the end, I just started "sticking" things where they'd fit. Unfortunately, now I'm disappointed with myself and the outcome. I'll have to go back and tackle those areas again...I'm sure editing your supplies will get those juices flowing. Best of luck!
I look forward to the blog hop and new release!!!

  29. You are inspiring me to clean and de-clutter my craft room. You are so right about having too much stuff and how it stifles your creativity. I feel that way too.

  30. Oh Robyn! I can't wait for your next release. I am so excited to see what's in store!

Love your canning pics. You need to share some recipes. That would be awesome!

Have fun rearranging and de-cluttering. I feel your pain there. So agree with too much stuff is too stifling. I have been slowly letting things go too. Have a great week and see you on Friday!

  32. Hi Robyn,

Good for you to give your oldest son his own room, one of your craft rooms. It may be more cramped for you craft-wise but will be so great for your son to have his own sanctuary, so important if at all possible, and it sounds like your other children will benefit as well. When I was able to finally get a house when my children were young, that was number one that they each have their own room as a place of rejuvenation all to their own. Not something every family can do, but great. I even gave up my living room to my then-husband to have a den so my two boys with disabilities wouldn't have to share. never regretted it. You are such a good mother and such a good role model! By the way, I admire the canning you do - looks like a lot of work but you always make things seem fun! I do hope your new responsibilities in your church are ring well.

    Sincerely,

    Janette S.

PS. Don't forget to craft just for the fun of it - it is what got all of us started!!

  33. Robyn - good luck with the reorganization. It will be lots of work, but I'm sure the results will be worth it. Let me know your ideas on organizing all those Cricut cartridges. I struggle with that - keep in the box, take out of the box, organize alphabetically or by group? I haven't come up with any good solution yet. I'm inspired by your canning and I think I will try it, even though it sounds difficult. Peach is my favorite. Thanks for all your inspiration.

  34. Love looking at other craft spaces!! LOTS of fun stuff!!! (= I'm in the mood to de-clutter too!

  35. Good luck with your decluttering. I am trying so hard. It is all such cool stuff. How do you begin? I have tons of storage bins and supplies that I need to fit in a
10x10 room. As far as your new release...I'LL BE BAACK

  36. Oh, I love to de-clutter and organize! When we were de-cluttering our 2nd house to get ready to sell, I vowed that I would regularly de-clutter so that the task was not so monumental. It worked well since the 3rd house was the same square footage but had VERY little storage space. I promise myself that we would not use attic space at all...I ask myself, "if it needs to go in the attic, do I really need it?" So every few months I de-clutter a drawer or closet or even an entire room. It only takes a few minutes to an hour now, rather than hours of work. The big difference came when we de-cluttered house #3 in order to move last Spring. We de-cluttered the entire house in less than a week, tackling 1 or two rooms each day, and not working more than one hour/day. Packing was easier too :)

Tackling my crafty stuff is the only room that takes HOURS. And for me it gets stressful and overwhelming because it gets sooo much worse before it gets better. I can't wait to see how you do combining all of your stuff into one room. I know it will look fabulous. Having a lot of stuff stifles my creativity too. I can't seem to part with my crafty stuff, even if it is ancient. Right now I have all the stuff I use a lot in one room, and shelving in the basement for the stuff I rarely use.

GOOD LUCK!!! Keep posting your progress :)
