Hello there, my crafty friends! It's Renee from I Came, I Saw, I Created. I am so excited to be a guest designer today for Robyn!!!
A little about me...I am a stay at home mom to three wonderful children that are the center of my life. I also have a loving and supportive husband that understands my need to craft! =) I have loved crafting since I was a child and have enjoyed it's evolution from crayons, to stamping, to my Cricut obsession and finally, to a blend of it all and more! I especially enjoy making cards and scrapbook pages, but often find myself creating all sorts of paper crafts.
As you know, we are celebrating Memorial Day today. I thought it would be appropriate to create something to remember our fallen soldiers by:
It's a Rosette Ribbon that can be attached to just about anything: clothing, a wreath, a package, etc.
I created it using the Cricut cartridges Ribbons & Rosettes for the rosette and Stand and Salute for the helmet and rank tag. I also used various ribbon and some felt stars from my stash. To complete the Rosette Ribbon, I stamped the sentiment "Hats Off To You!" from Robyn's latest sentiment stamp set release Girlie Sayings.

Thank you for sharing a bit of your holiday with us.

Excellent work, Renee!
You did a great job on your ribbon/rosette. Like how you did the helmet to give it that worn look to it. Thanks for sharing with us!
