Quick Update

Hey Everyone!

I wanted to do a quick update on what's been going on this past week.  Some of you saw on my Facebook Page that I hurt my wrist/hand on Tuesday during tennis.  Good news is that it is not fractured, bad news is that I still only have one hand that I can use.  I am hoping that it heals quickly but in the meantime I will take it slow and let it rest a lot.  The brace really helps it.

Today I have been making 2 batches of my red velvet cupcakes and it has taken twice as long because I am mainly only using my left hand.  We have a Couples Conference tonight at my church and I am the head chair person for it.  Everything has ran very smoothly, thank goodness, and I have had a lot of help.

I hope you all have a GREAT weekend!!  I have made some digital scrapbook pages, since you only need one hand for that, and I will share them with you soon.

Hugs to you all!
Robyn

  2. UGH! poor you! Sickness and then injury! I'll be praying for it to heal quickly. Remember to really stay off of it. Hurting something the second time makes it take TWICE as long to heal. Take care of you and I'm sure the red velvet cupcakes will be fab!

Poor thing! My daughter just did the same thing, (although, she was doing cartwheels)! Don't overdo! Whether one hand or two, your cupcakes will be delicious. Even if the frosting's a little wonky, everyone will appreciate the extra effort it took to get them done. Have a wonderful, (and healing), weekend!

  19. Praying for a speedy recovery. A little bit of loving advice...be careful as to how much you do with your good hand/wrist...it's possible to over do it causing stress/pain...you're resilient and you shall get through this too. Big hugs and love you!

    Take Care!

  29. oh Robyn...I hope you heal quickly. I know that my left hand is only there for "pretty" because I can't do a thing with it. It's like my brain forgot it existed. I hope you get better soon.

  32. We never know how much we take for granted until we have an injury that leaves us with aem, or a hand or a leg we can't use do we. Hope you heal as soon as possible but in the meantime enjoy your down time and take advantage of the help you have. So many times we Moms do so much for our families that we forget that they can do for us as well. So what if the towels are folded just the way you like or maybe the cornors in our house have a dust bunny or two. We can always get those tomorrow.

Robyn. Iam so sorry that you got injured and right before your weekend retreat. I will pray that god gives you supernatural strength to make it thru and the right words to say if you have to do any speaking. I have watched your videos for so, so long and they are such a blessing, keep up the good work sister! Sharon fromCalifornia email sharonmalibu@gmail.com
