My Pink Loser Wednesday Weigh In!! (Update!)

It's time for my weekly My Pink Loser check in!  You can skip this post if you aren't interested in following me on my "getting healthy" journey.  I will still love you!  LOL!!

Weird because I'm kind of embarrassed posting my weight on this website but I wasn't on My Pink Loser!  (blushing)!  How about if I just put how much I've lost since last week and how much I have to go??  Okay, that's what I'm doing!

Weekly Weight Loss - .8 pounds!  I'll take it!!
Pounds to go - 18.4 (I can do it!)
Exercise!
This week since I've been feeling better, I have been playing a lot of tennis and running!!
Friday - 2 hours of tennis, ran 1 mile on the treadmill
Saturday - 1 1/2 hours of tennis, ran 4 miles on the treadmill (go Robyn!)
Sunday - No exercise.  My day of rest.
Monday - Ran 3 miles.
Tuesday - 2 hours of high intensity tennis.  Lots of running around the court!
Wednesday - 3 miles on the treadmill.  Upper body weights.

Nutrition!
I have been trying to keep track of everything I have been eating.  It really does help to write it all down. I have been using the techniques I learned from Weight Watchers and making sure that I am eating enough filling foods so that I am not starving during the day.  I LOOOOVE my BodyMedia arm band, even though it was kind of pricey.  I figure that since I am not paying for a meeting right now, it is so worth it!

Chat with us over on My Pink Loser Facebook Page HERE!  Join the journey!

Okay, I've got to run.  My hubby is bringing me home a healthy lunch of Subway!!  YUMMY!  I'm starving!

  2. I have 25 lbs I am trying to tell to get lost. I am doing it on my own too! I am using Weight Watchers Points free app and it is super cool to track everything. It is funny, I used to NEVER worry about my weight until I turned 30. Now that I am knocking on 40's door, it seems like climbing MT. Everest!

  3. Hey Robyn,
It's Marykaye...Sheree's sister in law. You look fantastic by the way!

My husband has a weight loss clinic here in Omaha, so we have lots of good stuff to help people lose weight. But one of the best ways is to do a body and liver detox. We sell the kits individually if you are interested in something like that. I will give you a little info about the product.

Anyway, just thought I would throw the option out there if you are interested!

Here is the info on the detox kit:
Includes:Body Purifier – An herbal formula that helps remove toxins and mucus from the major organs. Helps purify the bloodstream and cleanse the lymphatic system.

Intestinal Cleanser – An herbal bowel tonic, helping to clean hard encrustations of old fecal matter. Provides nutrients to help restore peristaltic action of the colon. Helps expel parasites.

Fiber Blend – Restores dietary fiber to the system, cleans the bowels and intestines without calories, and helps to lower the cholesterol level. Psyllium - Cleans debris from the system and will combat constipation.

Plus we have an appetite appeaser that helps while you are detoxing and when you are trying to lose weight.

Good luck! You will do great!

PS. If you need more info about why it is healthy to detox, I can give you more info.

  4. I started Zumba last May at Brickhouse Cardio Club. I have lost 40 lbs. I have not changed my eating! I am 57 years old and hypothyroid. So it is difficult to lose weight! Consider joining "the party" and trying Zumba!!! Dance it off!

  5. Go Robyn!!!! I did WW and something called Turbo Jam (cheesy? Yes. Effective? Absolutely!) and managed to drop 30 lbs. That was 4 years ago and I've been in maintenance mode ever since. :) Stay strong - you can do it! :)

So glad you're sharing your journey with us - you're inspiring a whole lot of people. :)

  10. Great job, keep it up!

I don't always comment, but I just had to share with you. My two year old is sitting next to me ,and when I pulled up your page she said, "I want to watch the Cricut!" I wash shocked, haha.

I asked her, "Is this the Cricut lady?" To which she replied, "Yes! I want to watch the Cricut lady in your computer." Apparently we watch a lot of your videos together. :D
