Monday Morning Giveaway!!

Good morning Everyone!

I am so excited about the new format of my blog.  If you haven't read this weekend, I announced that My Pink Stamper will now have a combination of ALL of my blogs!  PHEW!!  It was tough work over the last year to keep up with all of them.  I will now have Scrapbooking, Digital Scrapbooking, Crafting, Videos, My Pink Loser, Photography, and a little family stuff here too!  I hope I don't overwhelm you?  You can just skip over the text if I bore you and look for pictures!  LOL!!

Today is all about new beginnings for me.  I started my weight loss journey AGAIN the week before Christmas.  (I know!  What a CRAZY time to start, right?)  I am now down about 7 pounds with 20 more to go.  It's really not about losing weight but getting my life healthy again.  I just turned 39 last week and I want my body to stay young for a looooooooooooooooooong time!   I am doing a combination of Body Media, Fitness Pal, Weight Watchers, Body by Vi, and lots of tennis and running! You can chat with me HERE over on My Pink Loser Weight Loss Page if you would like to join in or get inspired by everyone.  I know that I get inspired by all of YOU!!

Here is a picture of one of my new best friends!  (Of course, mine is pink!)
This band records my calories burned, steps I've taken, and how much good sleep I am getting.  It is good to see if I need to step up my activity to burn more calories (so I can eat more, of course!!)

Okay, onto the giveaway!  Since this is a week of NEW beginnings, how about I give away a NEW Cricut Cartridge?  I have been so blessed to be able to work with Provo Craft for over 2 1/2 years now.  I really appreciate all the AWESOME giveaways they have donated for you guys!  Thank you PC!!

Giant Flowers Cricut Art Cartridge!!  (Can you believe that I don't even own this one yet??)

To be entered in the drawing, please leave a comment on this post with something NEW you are doing this year!  It could be ANYTHING!!  Good luck!  I will pick the winner on Thursday!

**Don't forget to sign up on my Facebook Page for more giveaways & fun!  Click HERE to check it out!

I was finding that I was always working towards some new deadlines that I was not getting to spend that quality time with my family memembers! I did not want life to pass me by! I wish you luck in your endeavour I know that it is always hard to try and change things in life but always worth the work in the end! Thanks for the opportunity of the giveaway! And for all your wonderful inspiration! Avril Tanner (avriltanner@gmail.com)

  8. I've always loved the saying: Cleaning house is like strining beads on a thread with no knot at the end. (Erma Bombeck). My weekends are usually consumed by making my house perfect, by the end of the weekend it doesnt look like I did a thing. So, I plan to concentrate on weekend activities with family instead of worrying so much about the housing being perfect.

  9. I know it sounds kinda corny and cliche, but I am finally taking time for ME this year. I am the stay at home mom of 3 SUPER kids, and the wife of a 25 year Army vet. My life has been centered around my family for all of our married life (27 Years)!!! This past year, my oldest got married, my middle is off at her 3rd year of college and my youngest is almost 13 and likes hanging with dad much more than mom. (he is a boy). Therefore, I have decided to make a craft space for myself and start crafting again, like I did before kids. :D I am also working on a blog. (new thing for this old computer illiterate lady :D ) AND, I am contemplating getting a job. Don't know about that one so much yet. I'll let you know how my year progresses. :D Thanks for the opportunity to win a GREAT cartridge. :D

I have been trying on making wreaths lately and I think these would look really cute:) As for something "new" I am doing this year is...that I am going to try to run a 5k every other month - I first said every month but I think that is asking too much. So that is what I am doing new. I don't know how that is going to go in the summer since it gets SO hot here in SC. But we will see:)

  167. I love this post. This year its the first time in my life that I have given up pop. Coca-Cola (my favorite) and fast food is now a thing of the past. Its been 37 days since I have eaten at a fast restaurant or had a pop. I feel like I am in a 12 step program. hahaha I drink lots of water now and its getting easier. I found I do have triggers though. Example- We went to a movie this weekend and it made me crave a pop and popcorn. Thank goodness my hubby was with me, or I think I may have caved. He brought me back a cold water and popcorn with no butter, and it was perfectly good. Its great to have a support system that helps in times like that.
