Happy Graduation Card for my Sister!

Hey Guys!!  
Can you believe it is Tuesday already??  I will be busy preparing to pack today and getting all the errands finished before this Friday.  So excited for my weekend in Utah with my family!! 
I made this card for my big sister, Christy, who is graduating college next month.  Sooooo excited for her!  She is the first person on my side of the family who has graduated with a Bachelors degree.  I plan on going back someday, too.  She is such an inspiration to me and to so many.  :)
I used one of the new Seasonal Cricut Cartridges called Happy Graduation.  This was one of the new cartridges announced for the month of March.  To see all the other releases and what I have made so far, click HERE!

Diamonds in the Rough Cuttlebug Folder

Gray Cardstock cut at 4 1/4 x 4 1/4

Black Cardstock cut at 4 1/2 x 4 1/2

White Base cut at 9 1/2 x 4 3/4

Graduation Cap cut at 3 inches

Quick Bunny Card - Create a Critter

Hello Everyone!!
I made this card in about 5 minutes the other morning for my son.  This month they are writing letters to the Easter Bunny so we thought we would make a card.  I think it turned out pretty darn cute for a 5 minute card and kids screaming "HURRY MOM" from downstairs!  LOL!  
You all know that I ABSOLUTELY LOVE Create a Critter, right??  I love it so much that I designed 3 Stamp Sets that work with it, along with other cartridges with fun animals!  You can check out the Punny-licious Collection HERE if you haven't seen it yet.

Happy Monday Everyone!!
I hope you are all off to a GREAT week!!  I'm getting super excited because I leave for Utah this Friday for a quick trip with my family.  We are going to visit my hubby's parents and my family.  We also are going to watch our church's annual LDS General Conference live!!  What a very special experience that will be for my family.

I took the wilton cake classes when living in Okinawa Japan. I did them with a friend and ever since then, I have been HOOKED! I love making cakes! I haven't used a cricut cake, but I would really LOVE to have one! I'll be making a bridal shower cake soon for a co-worker. This would be awesome to have!

I hope you are all having a GREAT one!!  Today I am going to catch up on laundry (FUN) and then tonight I am going to watch our church's general Young Women's Conference with my 12 year old daughter.  I am soooo looking forward to that!

Elegant Edges Super Simple Card!

Hi Guys!
I am loving this release of Hello Thursday cartridges!  Here is a SUPER SIMPLE card using the base feature from Cricut Elegant Edges Cartridge.  What a fun cartridge!  So many great shapes to use on cards and scrapbook pages.  
The stamp is from My Pink Stamper Buggy Punnies stamp set.  I thought it was fitting.  

My card is cut at 4 1/2 inches.  The tag is 1 3/4 inches with layer at 2 inches.
Berrylicious paper is from Imaginisce!

Imagine Pink Wednesday - Guest Designer Kristal Andrews!!

I am so excited to have my GOOD friend, Kristal Andrews from K. Andrews Designs, as my guest designer today!!  She did a WONDERFUL job and even made a video for you guys!  Click HERE to see many more wonderful creations from her!!!

Ingredients: For My Friend Card

Everyday Life stamp set by My Pink Stamper

White smooth cardstock (Bazzill)

Blue grosgrain ribbon

Better Together Cricut Imagine Cartridge by Provo Craft

Black Ink (Memento)

Foam dimensionals (Helmar)

Dry adhesive (Monoadhesive)

Using the Better Together cartridge, print and cut......

 the changepurse card at 9" on Pg 29

The best friends image at 2.5" on Pg 17

The whoo's your friend image at 1.2" on Pg 14 (Use the layers function--and remove the whoo's your friend sentiment layer, as you will use the For My Friend sentiment stamp from My Pink Stamper)

Assemble all pieces, and place on shaped card as shown.  Stamp For My Friend on the layered brown portion of the sentiment tag. Place on card using dimensional foam dots. Add pearl bling as shown, and top with a blue ribbon at the top of the card.
