Hello my dearest friends!
I am so happy that it is Sunday. It is the one day of the week where I have a chance to fill my spiritual bucket and forget about everything that is on my mind during the week. I hope you are all having a very peaceful Sunday, too!
I promised that I would share the BEST Peppermint Chocolate Chip Cookie recipe EVER! Can you believe that I actually made it up? I'm totally not bragging but am in shock that I could make up any recipe remembering back to the first week of my marriage where I couldn't even cook rice!! LOL! I've come a long way, that is for sure!
Peppermint White Chocolate Chip Cookies
1 cup butter (cream)1 cup white sugar (add, mix)1 cup brown sugar (add, mix)1 tsp vanilla (add, mix)2 eggs (add, mix)2 1/2 cups white flour1/2 tsp baking soda1 tsp baking powder(Mix well)1 bag white morsels (mix)1 bag pepperment crunch (peppermint bark available at Walmart in the Seasonal baking isle)Mix.
Spray pan with cooking spray. Bake in a preheated 350 oven for 11-12 minutes. Do not overbake.
Enjoy!!

Okay so I thought I had everything. Q: What do you mean by butter Cream. To use Butter Cream or to milt butter into a cream.
They look yummy. I use Parchment Paper on my baking sheets so no spraying is necessary.

LOL, Robyn, you remind me of when I was first married. My mom wouldn't let us in the kitchen (I'm the 7th of 9 kids) so I had no idea how to cook. I followed the recipe directions to cook spaghetti noodles and clearly didn't cook them long enough. I cried back then, almost 28 years ago, thinking we would starve, but now it makes me laugh. Oh, the memories, lol.

I always try something new during the Christmas season, think this will be it this year. Thanks!
Thanks for sharing this Robyn! I made 2 batches (6 dozen yield per batch) for a cookie swap and they came out amazing. So easy to do too, except I made my own peppermint crunch by crumbling mini candy canes with my rolling pin.
Merry Christmas!
