Merry Christmas!!

Hello Everyone!!

Merry Christmas to you all!  This has been a week full of excitement and family events for us.  I want to take a minute to thank my good friend Maria and my head designer for stepping in for me and helping out. I also would like to thank My Pink Designers for stepping in and helping with videos and projects.  Please take a minute to jump over to their blogs and give them love as well.  As much as I'd love it to be, my blog is not my first priority.  My son's birthday and a lot of Christmas preparation was this week.  I have still been checking in and reading comments.  I am so grateful to have all of you!  You bring me so much joy that you probably don't even realize!!

I am going to finish my  12 Days of Christmas until Monday.  I know that most of you probably aren't even reading my blog today anyway!  LOL!  I will announce all the winners on Monday and share some of my events this past week.  I made some totally cute goodie bags for one of my son's classes that turned out SUPER!  I am looking forward to spending this upcoming week scrapbooking and catching up on things in My Pink Loft!  It's going to be nice to have some downtime with my friends and family.

Here are some of the fun pics I took tonight.  On Christmas Eve our family tradition is to make your own pizza and act out the Nativity.  The children also get to open a present that is a pair of jammies that they get to change into for Christmas.  Hope you have a blessed Christmas!  Love you!

New Blog Button & some Winners!

Hey Everyone!

I hope you had a wonderful Monday!  I was able to get some things done that have been on my list, which was great!  Did you all notice my new 12 Days of Christmas blog button that is on the right side of my blog??  I am so excited about this and want to thank my awesome designer, Veronica, for putting it together for me.  I love it!  If you would like to add this button on the side of your blog, just copy the code that is underneath and add it on a gadget to your blog!

Guess what??  I will have some Secret Elves who will be traveling around blog land looking for my button on YOUR blogs!  They will report back to me with what they find and we will have a very special drawing for the ones they report!  So much fun!!

If you do not have a blog but would like to play, you can add it to your Facebook Page where my little Elves will see it.  :)

Don't forget that this Wednesday begins My Pink Stamper's 12 Days of Christmas!!  I have some AWESOME sponsors, videos, and challenges!!  Provo Craft is one of our big sponsors again and have a special giveaway for you guys!  I will announce that on Wednesday and you will have all week to enter for that prize!

Gingerbread Houses

Happy Sunday Everyone!

I am just about to leave for church but thought I would quickly share some of the pictures from our annual family Gingerbread House Making night.  Hope you enjoy!  These were fabulous!  My husband and 11 year old daughter went out to get the candy and came back with the store!  LOL!  I made the homemade frosting.  Just a simple buttercream frosting recipe.  Next year I will make it a little thicker.

Hope you all have a FABULOUS day!!  Lots to come this week!!  My Pink Stamper's 12 Days of Christmas starts on Wednesday and I'm thinking of kicking it off with My Pink Stamper LIVE on Tuesday night or Wednesday morning.  I'll let you know tomorrow when I am more in the business mode.

Episode 303 - Tennis Christmas Goodie Bags! Cricut Imagine, Cricut Expression, & Christmas Wishes

Happy Friday Everyone!

I honestly cannot believe it is Friday AGAIN!!  It seems like we were just here a few days ago, right?   This morning I had my Tennis drill and then I had a Tinsel Tennis game & party.  Last night I decided that adults need goodie bags, too, so I stayed up until 1am making 24 of these fun things.  I didn't have the idea until almost 9:00 at night!  The party was super fun and the ladies loved their goodies.  Next week I get to make 70 more goodie bags for my 3 little boys classes.  That should be load of fun!  LOL!

For this video I used the Cricut Imagine and the Cricut Expression.  They really can go hand in had with each other.  I also used one of my Christmas stamp sets from last year called...

Happy Birthday Brayden and some Goodie Bags!

Hello Everyone!

I cannot believe that my baby boy is 5 years old today!!  Really, where has the time gone?  I still remember when we went into the hospital on that cold morning 5 years ago and how when I delivered him how sweet he was.  Out of my 5 children, he was the most easy going as a baby, which was a very good thing considering I had severe post partum depression for almost 2 months after his delivery!  Thank goodness that is over!!  Brayden has been such a blessing to our family and continues to be each and every day.  He goes to bed happy and wakes up happy.  Even this morning we could hear him happily yelling to us.... "It's my birthday!  Where is my breakfast in bed?"  He had been waiting for that for almost 2 months now since it is our family tradition.

Here are the quick goodie bags I made for Brayden's class today.  I used the Cricut Imagine with the Yummy Cartridge along with My Pink Stamper Birthday Crazy Stamp Set.  I only had to make 22 so they went pretty fast.
(Sorry for the dark pictures.  This was taken with my iPhone.)

Day 1 of 2 Day Birthday Celebration for my 5 Year Old!

Happy Monday Everyone!

Today begins day 1 of celebrating my soon-2-be 5 year old's birthday.  Tomorrow is really his birthday but my daughter has a youth church event that we are attending so we celebrated half today.  He had his little birthday party this morning, which was the first time he could invite friends, and had a blast!  My friend Mary came over and did the party display on my kitchen table!  She is a total party planner and cannot wait until she throws my 40th birthday party bash in a year because it is going to be FABULOUS!! Thanks Mary!

I made a quick 10  minute banner with his name using Elegant Edges and Plantin Schoolbook.  Super easy!

So one of the big presents my little boy asked for was a T-Pain microphone (don't ask me why!  LOL!)  This is what happens when his mom got a hold of it!

Peppermint Chocolate Chip Cookies & Happy Sunday!

Hello my dearest friends!

I am so happy that it is Sunday.  It is the one day of the week where I have a chance to fill my spiritual bucket and forget about everything that is on my mind during the week.  I hope you are all having a very peaceful Sunday, too!

I promised that I would share the BEST Peppermint Chocolate Chip Cookie recipe EVER!  Can you believe that I actually made it up?  I'm totally not bragging but am in shock that I could make up any recipe remembering back to the first week of my marriage where I couldn't even cook rice!!  LOL!  I've come a long way, that is for sure!

Peppermint White Chocolate Chip Cookies

1 cup  butter (cream)
1 cup white sugar (add, mix)
1 cup brown sugar (add, mix)
1 tsp vanilla (add, mix)
2 eggs (add, mix)
2 1/2 cups white flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
(Mix well)
1 bag white morsels (mix)
1 bag pepperment crunch (peppermint bark available at Walmart in the Seasonal baking isle)

Spray pan with cooking spray.  Bake in a preheated 350 oven for 11-12 minutes.  Do not overbake.
