Where in the world is My Pink Stamper??

Hello Everyone!

I bet you are all wondering where I have been??  I know I have not posted as much as I normally do.  I had family in town this weekend, my kids started school, I am involved in some things for me, and am just trying harder to be a better mother and wife.  I LOVE my blog and spending time with you guys!!  I just need to make sure that I don't forget about some of my other responsibilities (LAUNDRY!  LOL!).  Sooooooo, you might see me just a little bit less on here but know that I am thinking about you guys.

I wanted to start sharing some of my other interests on my blog, too.  I've just started a photography class and am having SOOO much fun learning how to finally use my SLR camera.  I would love to share my pictures with you guys.  Here is one I took yesterday learning how to use the faster shutter speed.

I also wanted to direct you all to my Video library if you haven't already checked it out.  I have filmed, edited, and uploaded over 300 videos.  PHEW!!  That's a lot of hours!  LOL!  Here is the link...

Don't forget that THIS Friday is My Pinkalicious Blog Hop!  It begins at 8:00 PM CST!  Can't wait to see you all there!!

  13. Robyn, honey, you are a GREAT mom and wife! We can always improve ourselves, that's the point of being human. But don't let yourself think-for a minute!-that you are not doing a great job. You don't have to apologize for spending more time with the other things in your life. We all understand how incredibly busy you are and appreciate the fact that you have actually cut out a piece of you to share with us. We appreciate you and I KNOW we all LOVE to come here and see what new thing you have posted. But it is okay if you have time for the other things too. And I am pretty sure the rest of your followers would LOVE to share the other things in your life. You are such an inspiring woman. Thank you for everything. Take care!:)

  14. You go girl! As much as we miss seeing something from you on your blog, it's important to take time for yourself and your family. 300 hours is a lot of time spent with us and not including retreats, CHA's, etc.. Wow! Learning something new, like photography will also go a long way in recharging those creative batteries and you get to spend more time with the ones you love! I'll keep watching for something new;-)).

  17. Never a bad choice to spend more time with your family. My baby of 6 kids is now 18 and even though I was blessed to be home with them full time I now feel like I didn't spend enough time with them. I would love to take a photography class and learn to use my DSLR to it's fullest. Love when you have time to post.

  18. That is a great pic! I was also going to do some classes online and even paid for the class, then I had some medical problems and didn't get to finish. I wish you all the luck in your class and I know you can do it. I also have a SLR and I have all my books that I got with my class and have figured out a lot of features on my camera. I love photograph so "You go Girl".

  19. I stumbled onto your blog from someone's recommendation. I have learned so much and have loved your ideas. It is great that you are doing things for yourself!
I am curious are you taking an online photography class? I have wanted to do one for a long time. I took a class for DSLR photography at our local community center and learned a lot but feel that i need to learn more but haven't found a class yet. Any recommendations would be great!

    Thanks,

    Tina B.

  24. Glad to hear you are making sure to allow time for those closest to you. I am actually watching all your videos so maybe I will get caught up. I am on #126 so far!! As I was watching yesterday, I wondered how you do it all. I only have one child at home and work but never seem to have the time to craft like I would like. I really enjoy your blog and videos!! Thanks so much

  25. Isn't it amazing how as the children get older the busier we get? Seems like it would be the opposite. Family comes FIRST! We will miss you but will definitely sick around!

  26. My son is a celebrity photographer and has a very prolific business. He has workshops all over the country and is doing one in Tennessee in October. He has photographed Eva Longoria and Tony Parker in Italy for their wedding. Also, has photographed Oprah when she had the car give-away and the Legends Luncheon. He has a blog, bobanddawndavis.com and if you go there you will see a lot of interesting things that just may help you in your new venture. He is also on Facebook. Give it a try. Hope this helps. Love your talents.
