I love to see the Temple

Hey Everyone!!

Just wanted to share a 5 minute Digital Layout with you!  Don't worry, I will still be sharing MANY Cricut creations with you very soon.  I am still waiting for my new 8 foot table to arrive in My Pink Loft so until then it is very limited what I can do in here.  I have some other paper scrapbook pages I will share with you today, also.

2 weeks ago I was released from my Primary Chorister calling in my church.  I was teaching the children music and songs every Sunday for over 3 years.  The Lord has other things in mind for me at this time and will be patiently awaiting to see what that is!  For now I will just give the children lots of hugs in the hallway as they go to Primary and I go with the adults.  :)

Hope you are all having a GREAT Sunday!!

  2. So happy to see you doing digital scrapbooking too Robyn! I still do traditional pages but LOVE doing the Digital pages as well! I purchased a large format printer so I can just print my pages at home and it's been wonderful! The Temple is Beautiful and the family photo by the temple with the flowers is lovely! :O)

  3. Robyn, this is a great start! It seems like you're having a lot of fun with it!

I personally love Scrap Girls and Jessica Sprague. The classes aren't free, but they are excellent and you get lots of cool digital supplies!

Just a thought, in case you weren't aware of them!

  4. Very pretty layouts I often do hybrid layouts now, love the dimension but I also love the quick less time approach.

Many blessings on your new journeys,

  5. Your temple is breathtaking. Beautiful family photo. I still don't know how you do it with five kids. I can barely manage my two.

I know your next calling will be as amazing as this one was.

    Hugs,

  8. Your family photo is breathtaking. It was the small wallet card of the Salt Lake Temple that actually got me interested in the church. The missionaries taught me about how I was a princess and we really do have castles. Anyway, I have a dream to be sealed to my family in that temple. My husband is a member, carries the priesthood, and is First Councellor in Young Men's. But he hasn't been to church in almost a year. I think that is the hardest thing for me right now. I wish I had women like you in our branch to visit with and scrapbook with. I'm too young for the women in my church so it is very hard to stay focused and go to church. I feel so alone up here without a friend in the church.

ANYWAY, enough about me. LoL Your pages are beautiful! How do you print them out? DO you print them out? I have heard of digi-scrapping but never really wanted to get into it. I love the hands on crafts! I can't wait to see any hybrid pages you do! Take care!

  9. Great layout Robyn. I did my first digi/hybred layout the other day.I'm still a die hard paper scrapper tho.

I know how you feel about your release from Primary...being released from being the Primary President in my ward was really hard. Teaching the kids was just the best!

  10. Always wanted to try digi-scrappin' but wondered how much ink it would use. This is a pretty design. It would be a fun way to add a few pages to a book. Although I never will give up that great creative feeling from manipulating paper and embellishments! Thanks for sharing!

  13. I've been wanting to try digital scrapbooking just for the convenience of it...but then I have already bought TONS of scrapbooking stuff that I feel guilty about not using it. Oh well.

  16. Pretty Digital LO and what a great picture. I did a few digital pages but it was for pictures fr online to post. I now think had I got into digtal scrapbooks I would save alot of money and space on craft supplies...lol But I love to create with my hands. I did used to make cards on the computer and print those. I enjoyed it and great when you need a super fast card and you dont have time to make one. Can I ask what did you use to make your digital LO?

  18. Congratulations on the move into digital scrapping. I am better at that than I am at paper, but I enjoy both. Usually more cards with paper and some hybred. can't wait to see you grown in that area.

As far as what the Lord has in store for you, sometimes He wants us to take a break in one area so we can get filled up, I know He will show you your next assignment in His time.

  24. My sister swore she' never go digital & she's making the switch right now. Not completly, but mostly. she's liking the hardbound books though. i think I might need to go digi, I make a scrapbook for each of my kids & a family book. I'm almost a year behind & just had twins!! yikes that 6 books to be completing.
