Episode 286 - Vinyl Wall Art with Word Collage
Hello Everyone!
I actually have a new video for you today! I can't wait to share it!
First, I wanted to let you know what I've been up to this summer. I decided to cancel almost everything business related this summer so that I could have fun swimming in the pool with my kids, baking them cupcakes, and just being a mom. It has been FABULOUS! It really has opened my eyes to what is important in this world. For the time being you will not be seeing me at events around the country but can always find me here on my blog or on my Facebook Page. I was too busy last year traveling for my business and missed a bunch of stuff with my children. I am planning on attending the Winter CHA Show every year and then doing everything from home in between shows. Just wanted to let you all know why you might not see me in your neighborhood coming up. :)
Okay, on to my fun video! Hope you enjoy it!!

RIGHT decision Robyn!! Kids grow up way too fast! I now enjoy my grand kids and I have all the time in the world for crafts.
Haven't watched the video yet, sure its great as always but read your comment on your kids and I agree with you, they are precious and they grow up so fast, I say hold them and love them as much as you can. That is great you are enjoying your summer with the kids.. I am a stay at home Mom and would not change it for anything. Robyn, am so happy for you that you made the decision to stay home with your kids. Mine are grown and it really went by so fast. Wished I didn't work so hard away from home and spent the valuable time with them more. God and family are number one priority always. Kudos and have a wonderful relaxing jammie summer.

Robyn, Love the vinyl. It's one of my favorite ways to decorate. Also, I use it to do Glass etching.
I am so glad to hear the decision you made with regards to your children...to many of us let our career get in the way when are children are growing up.
I personally am very proud of you.
Good job and thanks for all you do.

Hi Robyn. I am so happy for you that you have been able to spend the needed time with the family. That was one of the first things about you that I have enjoyed so much. I would love to see you at CHA one of these days, but I never get to go and I am quite happy to see what you are up to in your pink loft. Great tutorial. Give your family an extra long hug from my family to yours. Happy Summer. Hugs, Lisa G
I am so proud of you putting your family first this summer. You have had such a busy crazy year, sometimes we need to slow down and "know He is God." You will be blessed as will your family, they must be so happy!!

I did a ton of vinyl for work window displays and cause my poor cricut to shudder. Reloaded the firmware and all is fine. Thanks for the video. I will always remember 3 3 3 for my machine thanks for the tip.

Being mom is the best calling ever! I'm so glad to see you enjoying the short season you have with your children and family....continue to enjoy the journey...
OMG, that is so totally cool.... do you think I can use Vinyl and glue it to my scrapbook luggage? Do you think I can I glue vinyl to fabric?
Great video looks amazing. Thanks for showing us different things you can do with the cricut.
THIS IS REALLY COOL. I THINK I MAY DO THIS FOR MY DAUGHTERS ROOM :)
Proud of you Robyn for choosing family over business. Family is more important and our children grow up so fast we miss a great deal if we are busy doing other things. I am glad you made this choice. Love the videos and other posts.
Good for you putting your family first. Thanks for the video. I didn't get this cartridge yet but I am going shopping today and will see if I can find it.

I know fame came to you so fast and furious, but I really liked you better when you were just plain giggly Robyn doing your Cricut videos. You are so smart to make family first. Breakups can happen so fast and hit you before you know it. I'm proud of you for making your decision to fall back and take things a little slower. Good luck.
I am so happy you are having a wonderful summer with your kids... they grow so fast. Hope you are taking lots of pictures to scrap those fun filled days.. love your wall. hugs from ukiah
What a great video. I still have not tried using vinyl but watching this video and seeing how easy it is I'm gonna try it out. That's good that you are spending the summer with your kids cause they don't stay little for long anymore. I love spending time with my kiddos and they are growing up way too fast for me. Well enjoy your summer!!
Dalia
Hey Robyn! Yes, the little ones grow up too fast... spend all the time with them you can. One question... I have been waiting since JANUARY for this NEW product you are going to showcase! Where are you in the process? Is it almost ready??
Thanks for sharing this! Love how that turned out!!
Hey Robyn! Have a great summer! Families rock! No point in missing it! Cute design! ~Amy Ovard~
That is really awesome, Robyn. Good for you...spending time with you family is always wonderful. You don't need to worry, we will always be here for you. Love the project, thank you for sharing, can't wait to give it a shot.
Have a wonderful summer!
Thank you for the video it is very instructive. I also appreciate your comments about your kids. I know jobs are important to keep the family going, but children aren't children for long, I think when your are grown you will be so thankful for the decision you have made they will remember the fun times they had with you not how much you worked to provide for them. So many people don't realize kids don't need a lot of things.....they need mom and dad.
I have been wanting to do this but hesitant thinking it was too much for me--I think I can try it now--thank you. I am sooooo sooooo happy you are spending family time this summer. My children are all grown--believe me you just blink your eyes and they are grown-up and out of your home--treasure this time and enjoy--oops got on a sopabox :)
Love this, it looks fab!! Thanks for sharing!
Love this Robyn!!! Enjoy the rest of the summer with the kids!!

Awesome choice you made. Kids come first. Kids tend to grow up before you know what hits you. Thanks for sharing the video. love it. Have lots of fun this summer.
Thanks for sharing this great video. The Word Collage cartridge is now at the top of my list. I have watched other videos that you have done with the vinyl. Now I am ready to try it on my own.
Thanks for the great video Robyn! And I am so proud of you for your decision to be with your kids this summer. Mine is 12 and it's going by way too fast! You have loyal followers and we will be here! Hugs, Sabrina :-)
Robyn, one thing I missed the most when I was a kid was being able to hang out with my mom and dad. Both parents were proud restaurant owners so it was up to my older brother and I to keep ourselves busy and out of the way and out of our parents way when the restaurant was over. Enjoy your time with your kids, we never forget those memories.
Props to you on spending the summer with your kids!
Looks really perfect on your pink wall.
