11 Year Old Bedroom

Me again!  Can you believe you are getting 2 posts in one day??  My 11 year old daughter just got new bedding (at Target) and wanted to share what her new room looks like.  I decided to split my girls up for a little bit.  So my oldest (13 DD) is now in our guest bedroom.  Funny how my 3 boys are completely fine sharing their one room and each of my girls now has their own!  How does that work???  :)

  6. Very nice! Love the vanity, is it a family piece or something you recently purchased? If so, do you mind if I ask where you got it? My daughter wants one really bad!

  7. I love it! The colors are wonderful, bright and cheery. I remember when my daughter was your daughters age, her room was a reck all the time. I was afraid to even go in her room. I remember walking in her room and I could not even see the floor because she had so many cloths and stuff on the floor. I stepped in, thinking this is brave of me, when I stepped down, I heard a crack and found the hand held mirror I had been missing for over a year!

  8. Her room looks terrific. Girls really like their own space much more than boys do for some reason.

  9. cute cute cute, kels and i are workin on hers..she's 12 and is also in to the zebra theme. she now has green curtains, pink polka dot sheets, a zebra throw pillow, and i'm working on her comforter which is zebra, polka dots, and stripes in black, hot pink, and lime green! i'm glad to see she has a daybed, cause kels has been trying to get out of hers the past few weeks, but now she is okay with it since she's seen this!! ;D

  12. So very cheery! I think when girls reach the 10 to 13 age group, they need their own space, and let's face it hormones start kicking in and they become Dr. Jeckel and Mr. Hyde! It is better to seperate and safe your sanity.

  14. I love the dressing table, chest drawers and the night stand they are such a great shape. I love to watch a child expecially a girl put their stamp on their space. There will be lots of fun and memories in that room.

  15. Love the colors. My daughter is 12 and her room is never clean, can't even walk in her room most of the time because the floor is covered in clothes. I tell her how do you dirty so much clothes, you wear a uniform to school everyday. Crazy!! That's why now she washes her own clothes. hahaha!! :)

  20. Too cute and colourful. As to why the girls are separate? Girls can't share and are too smart to pretend they can. They need their privacy...hormones...makeup...dreaming of cute boys. This is best done privately. Boys have only a few thoughts...food...wrestling...videogames. These are best done with pals. Lee-Ann :)

  34. The wall color must be the top pick for that age group. My oldest (almost 11yr) gets to have her room painted for the start of middle school and wants lime green. What paint color are the walls? She loved them. That girl has had her room painted more often than any other room in our house!
