Happy Thursday!
I cannot believe the 2nd week of our summer is almost over! Lots of swimming for us. Thankfully the weather has been bearable. So happy that our AC is back on! I hope you are all having a wonderful day!!

When my kids were small we would go to the beach and have friends over to do all sort of craft projects (painting, cooking, etc...)Now that they are big and gone.. Hi!
My fun idea for this summer is taking my family to San Diego. We have plans to go to Sea world in July. I have young one's so they will love the new Elmo water area. Of course we have to go to beach. My boys have not been to a beach yet so they will be excited! We are also thinking of Lego Land. Never been there so that should be fun!!! Besides that SWIM! SWIM! SWIM! AZ summer gotta love swimming! ;)
I got a Gypsy for Mother's Day and now am obsessed with new cartridges...that one looks so cute!
During the summer we like to swim and grill a ton. My boys think it is such a treat to bike to Subway for lunch (2miles one way). And, of course, we fudge bed times. Thanks for the great give-away opportunity.
There is something about lazing by the pool on a nice sunny summer day, listening to the kids splashing and giggling that just makes me happy too! Its too cold today for the pool so we are building a Scarecrow and going shopping :-)

The thing we like to do most in the summer is spend time on the Lake we own a boat and Jet ski. So we take every opportunity we can to go. It is only about 30 min. away so that helps. Plus it is great family time and gets the kids outside.

My summer fun is watching my twin girls float in the water; they still can't swim, so I keep them in life jackets. They both love just "hanging out" in the pool :)

Summer is the best. Although it's only 54 degrees in Northwest Wisconsin at noon today. So, it's hard to be convinced it's summer yet. Two days ago, we hit 95 degrees. Yup, that's Wisconsin.
Since summer doesn't come to the Pacific NW until July 5th I get to spend a lot of time in my craft room! Who can complain about that?

I like to get outside for long walks or hikes and grab fresh ingredients from the local farmers markets. Although Seattle summers aren't typically the hottest, hiking in the Pacific Northwest is absolutely beautiful (rain or shine) in the summer!
My favorite things to do in the summer are run through the sprinkler...yes, even at 27 I still find it fun!! Also, I love to get ice cream from the ice cream man that drives around our neighborhood. The simple pleasures in life are the best!

My family and I LOVE to camp! Our favorite place to go is the beach. The kids can play in the sand and the water and hubby and I can relax as the sun warms our soul and the sound of the waves wash all the stress and worry away! Since retiring, my summer days are pretty much like my winter days! "Now which craft do I want to work/play with today" and sleeping in until the dog barks to go out. I get to see my grandchildren more and that's always great fun; cooking out; swimming, flowers and fresh veggies.
I love taking my son to the park and seeing his face light up as he goes on the swings.
Swimming, Swimming, Swimming! Oh and did I mention Swimming? lol, I love just being in cool water during summer. Southeast Texas is hot a muggy and a nice cool pool is exactly what I want during summertime! :D

I am super excite 4 summer, here in AZ it's super Hot, so swimming is a necessity! We also try to go to the Az grand resort in Tempe, they have a lazy river, water slides, and a wave pool. It is so CHILL, and super relaxing! It's all about the families there too!!! I can't wait! I can't say I only scrap in the summer, it's daily 4 ME! ha

this summer i will be camping with my husband. this is a new hobby for us and we find it brings us closer together. i take my scrap supplies and after the campfire goes out we work on pages together in the camper.
We love to go camping. At least my son and husband do. I have an area for crafting, so while they are fishing and dirt biking, I get to scrap.

I love going to the beach with my kids and walking to Baskin Robins at night for ice cream.
I love to play with my daughter at her water table, color withnchalk on the driveway, and go for walks with her in the mornings. She just turned 20 months, so she loves to explore everything! We plan to help my dad wth his garden on his farm next week, she'll get to have fresh strawberries straight from the garden.

We've just bought a house and we are going to officially move into it at the end of July, so although it will be very hectic and tiresome to pack all our belongings and get the house ready and liveable before the end of the Summer, we are soooo looking forward to it! I generally take 1 week off in the summer to head to the cottage which would include lots of fishing, swimming, BBQ and just complete relaxation! Can't wait to go!!

Summer's plane has been delayed here, hopefully it will arrive and be able to stay awhile. Sometimes summer only gets to stay a few weeks here in Seattle.

Thank you for a great giveaway, this is a cart I have had my eye on for a little while now as the designs are so beautiful so it would be awesome to win it.
I love swimming and I'm a bit of a water baby so for me the day in the sunshine and the pool with great friends and family is just bliss. I love the ocean too and whale watching is my fav so spending a day doing this would be the icing on the cake. However as I don't live that close to the ocean and don't have a pool here in the UK, I love to sit in our garden and listen to the birds and watch the butterflies flutter by. So peaceful and warm and sometimes for me it's just what the doc ordered.

I love working in my garden. I only have flowering plants.
I have a home daycare. I like taking the kids out to play in the kiddie pool and water table. They like pouring water on me. :o)
On the weekends I like going on motorcycle rides with my boy friend.
There are so many things we can do for summer fun, one of them is spending Saturday night watching our favorite drivers at the dirt track. One of our favorite is a Heart Transplant Surgeon, who we have watched for the last four years. He got in the car after he did a heart transplant. His patient told him that if he lived through the procedure, he would let him drive his car. The doc liked it so much, he built one of his own. I sure know where I am going if I ever need a transplant. A doc I know through racing.
This also gives me a suject to scrap, as I am a hobby photographer and I take anywhere from 500-1000 at each race.

In summer I love to go to the Italian Ice cream shop in town a buy a scoop of genuine Italian Ice and walk around. Yummie.
I like to swim in our pool, here in AZ it's super, super, super HOT, so it's nice to take a dip in the pool and cool off. We also like to have lots of ice cream and popsicles, again to cool off.

Since the heat has set in. making snow cones with my 3 beautiful granddaughters has become a favorite thing to do. The 10 yr old likes to set up the bar on the deck and "be in charge." Awsome and fun to watch. We use my Margaritaville conconction maker for the shaved ice. I'd prefer the Margaritas, but it's not as much fun.

I would like to go to Discovery Cove to swim with dolphins. We recently got back from Riviera Maya. It was on our list of things to do (excaret park) but we didnt schedule excursions til the end and couldnt fit it in. Hubby wanted to zip line so i was nice and did that. He promised he would take me to discovery cove in return. Good deal!!!

I love to stay indoors and craft in the summer, seriously I can't be in the sun for more than 5 minutes or I will have heat rash from head to feet. I do like to go out in the evenings when the sun has dropped some for a backyard fire with the hubby, we make smores, then I put that stuff in the fire that makes it change to really pretty colors.
