Let's Do a Color Challenge!

Well hello Everyone!

I thought that it was about time for one of my color challenges.  I LOVE color and not just pink, believe it or not.  I am fascinated by putting together colors that you wouldn't think look good together and then the outcome is GORGEOUS!!  I cannot wait to see what you all come up with!

Color Challenge:

Orange, Turquoise, and Green (any other colors can be added).

Here is what I made.  I used the Cricut Imagine along with the  Imagine Elise Cartridge and the Simply Charmed Cricut Cartridge.  I love how I can mix and match my cartridges together!  So much fun!

I made this card for my daughter who is at Girl's Camp this week for our church.  I thought it was appropriate to use my More Faithful Sayings My Pink Stamper Stamp Set with it.  :)

This is her 2nd year at girl's camp and I always send a surprise goodie box or bag filled with lots of fun stuff.  Candy, food, nail polish, notebook, pens, etc.  Just something fun for her to look forward to.  I found out last year that I was one of the only parents in her cabin that did this for their daughter so this year I also bought a bunch of HUGE bags of candy that all of the girls can share as they get to know each other.  Can I go to girl's camp??  One of the bags is Laffy Taffy!!

Okay, it is now time to see what you come up with for the challenge!  This needs to be something you create for the challenge and not something that you have posted previously on your blog that fits the theme.  :)  If you can also invite all of your blog friends to join in and those who don't have a blog it will make it much more fun!  Let's get a TON of ideas!!!

  5. Seriously! I wanna go to girls camp again!! I loved it! In fact I was so hoping to sign up as a unit mom this year but needless to say my husband wasn't to keen on the idea of leaving him alone with the SUPER SCARY CRANKY MOLLER TEETHING ALMOST 2 YEAR OLD so I decided for my husbands sake I'd wait another year! Poor guy!

That card is super adorable! I'm loving that stamp set! And just a little tidbit...orange is my favorite color and that is one of my most favorite color combo's! I'm even going to paint the fence around my garden those colors! Hannah Montana Barn house style!! (hopefully you've seen the movie and have some clue what that means lol)

  8. Love your card! I am brand new to scrapbooking and have found your site sooo helpful and inspiring. I got my first Cricut last weekend and so far I have cut one turtle from the Animal Kingdom cartridge. LOL! He's green does that count?! I just now set up my first blog too. :)

  9. Special treats are fun but the camp my daughter is working at all summer is very clear about sending no food with the kids. They have lots of wildlife up there and they'd rather not have them try to get into the cabins. Some camps might not care but some definitely do.

  13. What a great idea. I remember when my son (now 32) went to church camp and I sent him a card every day. I don't think other parents did that either and I may have embarrassed him, but he wouldn't admit it.lol

  27. Hi Robyn

Me again lol. I love colour challenges as they are what they say, challenges! But I'm so glad you picked orange as one of the colours as I never know what to do with this colour so this will be a challenge for me lol.

Thanks for a great blog and I wondered if you would mind popping over to mine when you have the chance - I know you're a super busy lady but I would love it if you would.

Have a great day/eve and a crafty one too lol!
