Cards for Joplin, MO

Hey Guys!

I received a letter from one of my viewers that I would like to share with you all.

"Robyn,

I'm writing to ask a favor of you and your blog followers.  Would you be willing to do a post (or somehow get the word out) for people to make cards of encouragement to the people of Joplin MO that were effected by the May 22nd tornado?

I have a niece who lives in Joplin and she would be willing to distribute the cards.  She told me that a school here in Illinois sent cards to them and it really put smiles on their faces to see that someone cares about them.

I think this will be even more important to let them know that we think about them as it becomes not so new news, but they continue to struggle to rebuild.

Thanks so much,
Cindy Ross"

I think that is a FABULOUS idea and would be thrilled if we could flood their mailbox with hundreds of cards of encouragement.  Here is the address if you could send a quick card.  I know it would mean so much to so many people.  I cannot even imagine what they are going through.

Great idea! I live in Joplin and the outpouring of support is incredible! I personally know 35 families that lost their homes or businesses! The cards are greatly appreciated, our church which is set up as a relief center has posted all the cards and letters they've received! Thanks again

  34. Hi Robyn!
Ask and you shall receive. This is such a great thing to do. To all of my card making buddies out there, know that we spread love with every single touch of glue, cricut cut, and paper fold. Keep spreading the love everybody!
