Episode 281 - Last Day of School Goodie Bags using the Cricut Imagine with Bubblegum Stripes!

Hello Everyone!!

I hope you are all having a terrific night!!  Today was the last day of school so, of course, I was up late last night making 72 goodie bags for 3 of my kids!  I would have made them during the day but My Pink Loft & My Pink Studio have had a ton of guys in there working on our new AC/heating system.  We still have no AC and it's looking like it won't be going until at least Tuesday.  It's going to be in the 90's tomorrow but thank goodness we have our pool open.  It should be refreshing.  The window units are really helping, too.

Can you believe that I broke out my video camera and filmed my goodie bags last night?  Check it out!
Here are about 1/3 of the bags.  I actually love making goodie bags.  Can you tell?

Hope you all have a great Memorial Day Weekend!  I will try to update you all tomorrow night or Sunday!

Cute Goodie Bags. I bet the kids loved them. We are still battling rainy weather, not as bad, but the PGA has had it rough. They are playing about 10 minutes from my house and have to park over at Southeast Christian Church. Seems like they get rained on every time they play here in town. Have a great weekend & fun in the pool.

I just love every project that you make. These were so cute and easy to make. I can't wait until my Granddaughter needs some of these for her class someday.

Love your project videos, these goodie bags came out super cute. I've used your ideas on some goodie bags I have made for a young class learning all about dog safety for children but I've only needed to do 12 as prizes. You have to do so many, phew.

Wow, what a busy week you have had! I hope the weather cooperates and you have a wonderful holiday weekend. I love the goodie bags and remember a post you made a year or so ago and reminded us to keep them simple. I have so appreciated that, because you are so right, the kids do love the goodies inside the most! Thanks Robyn.

I'm so excited to have kids so I can do things like this!! Until then I'll live vicariously through my brother and his Daughter for inspiration. My Hubby and dog have had enough! HAHA!

Very nice but may I make a suggestion and I don't know if this has been made before. When stapling the cardstock topper over the bag, that you staple with the points (which are closed) to the top of the bag and the smooth part of the staple showing on the back. You will then be covering the closed pointed ends of the staple with the design cardstock. In this way the risk of the staple opening accidentally would be eliminated and no one would get injured. I hope I'm making myself clear in my explanation. Keep on cricuting.
