The first project uses her new Spanish set, which I am really enjoying even though I don't speak Spanish. I thought I'd give you a little look at the way I sometimes cut my images, especially if they have small pieces. Below you will see that I cut some of my layers for the project all in white, then while they are still on the mat, I color them with my Copics. Really fast and really easy!
I even did this with the bottom layer of the sombrero to add the color.
The sentiment was stamped right onto the twill ribbon. Two little tips here--have a juicy stamp pad and tape your ribbon down to your work area while stamping so it doesn't move.
I added some fiber to the hat with little balls. When I was done there was a little piece left on my desk and I decided to re-purpose it by making a furry belly. I just pulled the fibers apart and colored them with a Copic marker. Instant fur!
Ready for another little project? Well this one is really not so much about the card as a tip for I have for you. Last week when we did our Design Team projects for the month I manipulated one of the stamps for my project to make it wavy. I got so many emails asking about this I thought I'd give you a little tip.
Here is a new card with another stamp that I manipulated. Simple card, fun stamp! Below you will see an easy way to do it. If you just tried to adhere the stamp to the block it would take you quite a while to get it lined up perfectly on your image, but if you make an outline of your image right on your acrylic block (don't worry, the marker will rub right off) it is easier to place your stamp.
Two other things I did to make this card a little more interesting...I used my Crop-a-dile and punched holes along the border and I added some Stickles around Hello to make it stand out.

Hi Maria! I love the tips you gave! Thank you!
I love how you are implementing some mediums that aren't commonly used! My boyfriend's mom really likes white baby seals, so I was wondering what I could use for making the fur fuzzy, I'll have to try your idea!
Also, I really love the Cricut Lite Lovely Floral cartridge. My boss gave it to me for christmas. I've only used some of the borders and I cut out the Hello! flag for a boy's card, but the best thing about it is the font that comes with it! I would definitely have bought it just for that!
