Happy Sunday!

Happy Sunday Everyone!

I just wanted to do a quick post before I retired for the night.  It is after 11:00 pm and I have an early morning with the children.

Tonight I was getting some of the pictures on my computer organized for the cruise next week and came to a discovery.   I really miss scrapbooking!!  LOL!!  I am sooo excited to have an entire week to spend trying to catch up on a couple of years of memories.  I am so grateful for modern technology and that I can take digital pictures.  It makes scrapbooking for me so much easier.

Church was good today.  The first hour was really uplifting and I loved all of the talks that the speakers had prepared.  The other two hours were exhausting because I am still feeling a little bit warn out from all my dental work last week, and I was teaching a new song to the children.   I will post it for you guys soon.  It is such a GREAT song and it is called "I Will Follow God's Plan For Me".  Most of the kids knew it from years past so it was mostly a review with a quick little unscrambling game.

Last night I ended up taking my girls and two of their friends to the Greyson Chance concert here in Edmond, Oklahoma.  Man, do I feel old!  I never thought those words would come out of my mouth (LOL) since I act so young most of the time!  I think the average age (besides the parents) at this concert was 10 or 11.  I am not kidding!!  Greyson did a fabulous job and will have a very successful career.  He is a very talented young man.  The other part of the concert was just loud.  Not sure if my girls are into rock music yet and I am so glad!

Here's a quick pic of me with my girls last night.  My husband ended up taking our 3 little boys bowling, so all of us ended up having a great night.

I have sooo much to do before Thursday this week!!  Don't worry, we have much prepared and planned for you guys while I am cruisin'.  I will have some guest helpers, too.  Just wanted to let you all know again how grateful I am for YOU and all you do for me.  Thank you for letting me share a bit of my life with you each day!

  14. About the old part, you are not old. Only as old as you feel. But I know what you mean. I took my daughter to Hillary Duffs concert and I felt just like you. My kids are all grown up ages 21 and 19. I am 43 and I sometimes feel like I am a senior citizen. I am so happy that you will be scrapbooking. Don't get me wrong I love cards but would love to see what you do with your pictures and scrapbooking. Thanks for sharing.

  24. Wait until the workers at the grocery store act like they have to help you to your car because you can't possibly make it on your own. Then you can say you are old. You can also say you are old when the waitress gives you a senior discount on your meal when you haven't even asked for one.

Enjoy your cruise. I really think your oldest daughter is a beautiful young lady. I think about her whenever I see cupcake trinkets in the stores.
