Episode 260 - My Special Guest, Mike the Glueologist using Gem-Tac!

Happy Tuesday Everyone!!

I hope you are all off to a wonderful day!  I actually have been very productive, not bragging here but it is a very good day.  All of my kids are in school, dinner is in the crock pot, read my daily scriptures, taken a shower, and I am dressed!!  Can you believe it?  It is a miracle!!

The week before Christmas I had a special guest visit me all the way from New Jersey!  Yes, my friend Mike the Glueologist from Beacon Adhesives came out to see me again!  While he was here he made a very informative video with my 6 year old son.  Hope you all enjoy it and have a fabulous day!!

I used to use Gem Tac all the time when I was into my sweatshirt decorating phase. I love glitz on everything! And this stuff really works, but I didn't know not to mash the gem down into the glue. I sure won't do that anymore! Thanks for the tip.

I can't wait to hear what you have in store for us!! I am hoping to get a chance to enter your DT challenge but I have my cricut packed up for a scrapbooking getaway. Hopefully tomorrow my kiddos will nap nicely and give me the time to dig it out so I can whip something special up for it. I started a blog on New Years just for this opportunity. I would love for you to check it out! http://my3escrapbooking.blogspot.com
I've got my fingers crossed for nice long naps tomorrow :) If not, there is always next time!

A Jersey Guy! you just can't go wrong with him! LOL

Noelle Reese said...

Hey Robyn,
Don't you have a Quickstick from Quickutz? I have had the same one for 5 years and it still works. It feels like an eraser but it is just sticky enough to pick up the gem. Then someone won't get poked in the eye with a flying gem and ruin the fun LOLOLOLOLOLO

So gem tac is used on many costumes. Does that mean it is washable? And as for your new products... how do you keep secrets? I know you've had to keep many before so maybe you are getting used to it. I know a secret is hard from this end :)

I love how proud your son looked when he picked up another gemstone at the end of the first part of the video, waving it around trying to get your attention! Then while you were wrapping up he got a little down hearted because he thought you had missed it! But then Mike told him he did a great job!
