Okay, here are our two cartridge winners from last week!! I am thinking about going back to my old comment form just so everyone will be able to leave a comment. I found out that the spammers got the e-mail address from my old Feedblitz account which I have now closed. I am using the secure Feedburner account now so if you might need to resubscribe if you haven't already.
I am so excited to announce that My Pink Stamper Cricut Fun Volume 3 is coming soon!! These are all new episodes with some fun added bonuses just like in my first 2 DVDs. Keep your eyes and ears open! We will be announcing the day they will be available soon!!
Don't forget that you can still get my first two DVDs entitled Cricut Fun Volume 1 and Cricut Fun Volume 2 by checking out my product page at the top of my blog! These first two DVDs have over 5 hours of new episodes, bonus features, and lots of great ideas!
Thank you everyone for all of your support! I have enjoyed making these DVDs so much and look forward to making more for you in the future! Of course I will always make short videos for my blog, too!
As some of you may already know, a friend in the scrapbooking/Cricut community, Monique Griffith was just diagnosed a few weeks ago with Stage 3 Breast Cancer. I cannot even imagine what she is going through. Some of you have been through it or have loved ones going through it right now.
I want to propose a "Cards for Monique" campaign. She could really use our love and support right now by sending her a card. If you have a few minutes to make her a card and send her a card that would be FANTASTIC!! I want to flood her mailbox with PINK!! Let's call it Pink for Monique!
Here is her address (with her permission, of course):
1879 Butterfly Ct.
Rocklin, CA 95765
If you want to share your creations, we would love to see them. Just post a link in the comments so we can check it out. Let's cover Monique's wall in PINK cards!!
Well, tomorrow (today if you are reading this on Saturday) I am heading back home from my awesome adventures in Utah, Wyoming, and Montana. It has been so full of great experiences for me and my children. We are hoping to try it again next Summer with different locations on our check list in Yellowstone. There is just so much to see and not enough time.
Okay, so while I am traveling I thought I would give away Cricut Straight from the Nest courtesy of Provo Craft. Since I am having trouble with my comment form, if you are unable to leave a comment on this post you can leave one over on my Facebook post HERE. Please do not leave a comment on both or you will be disqualified. Thanks for playing fairly. :) I will pick this winner and the winner of the Birthday Cakes cartridge on Tuesday. That gives everyone enough time to get in the drawing.
This is going to be a post all about my trip to Yellowstone so far.
This morning we woke up and headed out of Jackson Hole, Wyoming on our way to Yellowstone. We stopped off in Moose, Wyoming to go on a boat across Jenny Lake to take a hike to see some awesome falls. I was kind of freaking out having my kids on that trail but they did great! My husband held my 3 year old most of the time, thank goodness.
Next we headed on over to Yellowstone National Park to look for wildlife. We were so lucky to find elk, deer, and buffalo!
This is the beautiful scenery we were greeted with in Yellowstone. Isn't it gorgeous?
My son was so excited to find buffalo droppings along the way! Gross!!
As we were driving later in the day we realized that traffic was stopping along the highway. We looked up ahead and saw that two buffalo were standing alongside it. As we were getting ready to approach they walked out in front of our car and they passed right next to our car!! I took these pics through the moonroof! They were touching our car on each side!! It was soooo cool and they were HUGE!!
Later, after we had spotted over 120 elk, we saw that traffic was stopped again to view this AWESOME elk on the side of the road. I was able to get a great picture of that, too!!
We still have one more full day in Yellowstone before we head on to Montana where we will be flying home from. This has been a FABULOUS family vacation. Even though it gets kind of tough being in the car for hours with 5 little children, I wouldn't trade this experience for the world! The best part was that I was forced to be without my computer for most of the time. It was great to focus all of my attention on my family and that is what a true vacation is.
I feel like I should be talking that way after my night and day in Jackson Hole Wyoming! We have had such a fun time so far. Tomorrow we head out for Yellowstone for another adventure. I cannot wait to get home and scrapbook these pictures and memories. I am definitely going to be using my Old West & Wildlife Cartridges!
Here is a quick pic from our horseback riding today....
We arrived last night and are loving it here! We head out for Yellowstone tomorrow morning. Today is a jam-packed day full of adventures for our family. We are leaving for horseback riding in about 20 minutes, then we will ride the Alpine Slide, and tonight we have a chuck wagon dinner where we actually are going on a covered wagon to a special place for a dutch oven dinner. So excited!!
Here is a cute bear card I made a couple of weeks ago using Create a Critter along with More Punny-licious. Enjoy!!
Today we are officially on our way to Yellowstone National Park. I cannot wait! My husband has a lot in store for us that I don't even know about yet. Don't worry, I will take lots of pictures and post the details of my trip over on my Facebook Page.
Here is a fun giveaway for you all while I am away. I will pick the winner on Friday, if I have internet access, if not then I will pick when I return home.
To enter just leave a comment stating why you would like to win this cartridge. Please be patient with my new comment form. For some reason it is not handling large amounts of comments at the same time. Remember that you have until Friday so if it will not pull up for you today try again later this week. I am hoping that they get this bugged worked out soon. It is very frustrating for all of us.
Here you go.... Cricut Birthday Cakes Cartridge! This cartridge can be used in any machine from the orginal Cricut all the way to the Cricut Cake. It is turning out to be one of my very own favorites.
Today I am running a 10K in Provo, Utah as part of the Freedom Festival. Wish me luck! I hope I can get through it. I haven't done a lot of long runs lately so my body isn't as conditioned as it has been for my last races.
Here is a fun masculine card I made using Cricut Lite Dude! Cartridge a few days ago. I hope you enjoy it. I actually really like how it turned out.
Have a wonderful day everyone and check back tomorrow for a fun giveaway!!
Here is a simple gift idea I made for one of the girls that I visit in my church. In our church we are assigned to "visit" 1+ girls a month and it is called Visiting Teaching. That way we know that everyone is taken care of. It is a GREAT system and even if you move to another part of the world you will still have Visiting Teachers and get to Visit Teach in our church. Fun, huh?
Okay, this is soooo simple but I had to think up an idea soon. I had heard that one of the girls I visit was under the weather and I myself was not feeling the best so I quickly threw this together. I just put a can of soup in a very large cello bag which I got from www.clearbags.com, then I made this tag using Create a Critter and my Punny-licious stamp set. I hope this will inspire you to create something you can use for service in your life. :)
I hope you are all having a fabulous day! I just arrived at my in-law's home in Pleasant Grove, Utah and am so happy to be done traveling for the day! We are having a relaxing pizza dinner tonight and are going to visit. I might even show my MIL how to use her new Cricut! I brought some fun supplies and cannot wait to show her. I even brought her a set of More Punny-licious but it's a surprise so .... shhhhhhhhh, don't tell her! LOL!!
I hope you enjoy this video and project that my son and I put together. I made most of the card but it was his idea to write a note to his grandparents for his Faith in God (which is a program in our church for the 8-11 year old boys where they get to provide service to others & work on life skills). I think this card turned out soooooo cute!! I'm loving my new stamp sets. If you asked me which was my favorite out of my 4 new releases I would have to say ALL OF THEM!!! I use them sooooo much! The saying Bear Hugs is from More Punny-licious.
I am heading out tomorrow on a fun adventure with my family for the week but I thought I would leave you with some eye candy while I am away. I have fun stuff ready to post and I will still have internet access to check on everything. I hope you all have a fabulous 4th weekend. We are going to be in Utah for the beginning of our trip to go to the Stadium of Fire to see Carrie Underwood and then to run in the 10K Freedom Run. After that we are headed to Yellowstone National Park and then up through Montana where we will be flying home from. PHEW! It is going to be quite the adventure but so much needed. Things have been so crazy around here with having fun house guests, redecorating my house, Provo Craft stuff, filming my upcoming DVD and of course the release of my latest stamps. I need a break!! :) I can't wait to tell you all about it. If you are on my Facebook page I am sure you will get the play by play and some fun pictures to go along with our trip.
Here is a fun card I made using Create a Critter cartridge along with my new Buggy Punnies Stamp Set. I hope you enjoy it!!
Thank you everyone for the great comments about what you would do with this cart if you won it. I randomly chose our winner but first I wanted to apologize for those of you who were not able to get in to leave a comment. My new comment for is WONDERFUL except when you get close to a thousand comments... it doesn't know how to handle it. It looks like they are working on the problem and hopefully it will be fixed soon.
Drum Roll, Please
Winner of Cricut Independence Day Cartridge is....
I would love to thave this cart to use as inspiration and motivation to FINALLY scrap all of the pics that my hubby and I have from the time that he served in the US Marine Corps as well as all of the wonderful pics that we have of our families celebrating Independence Day since our child hood.
