Here are mine!

My daughter made cookies for our neighbors so I made some snail cards for her.

Here are some more heart boxes that I made for my DH's staff. I am going to make some more cookies and send them with him tomorrow.

Sunday Challenge!

I bet you didn't think I would be on here today since it's Sunday. Our church has been cancelled due to the ice/snow on the ground. A lot of you know that I don't normally do anything My Pink Stamper related on Sunday if I can help it. I have set aside this day for family, faith, & friends. That got me thinking .........wouldn't it be great to do a special kind of challenge. A challenge where we are giving of our talents? This is what I am thinking.....

Create a card or project and be prepared to GIVE IT AWAY! If you are making a card, actually write a note to someone, seal it, address it, and be ready to send it tomorrow. If you are making a goodie bag, deliver it this week.

Here are card ideas.....
*Cards for troops
*Someone who is sick
*Someone who needs a lift
*A new mother
*Your mom or dad, brother or sister
*Your husband or wife
*Your children
*Your neighbor

Let someone know what they mean to you. We are in the business of making cards but how often do we remember to send them out?? That is why we began in the first place, remember?

Okay, once you get your project or card done we would love to see it! Post a link in the comments here. If you have time to make more than one, do it!!! Lift someone up this week!!

Episode 174 - Homemade Bread & Tag (3rd Challenge)

Okay, here is my 3rd and final challenge for the weekend. I hope you will all be able to participate!! Just leave a link to your project in the comments of each post.

The machine that I used to grind the wheat is called a Whisper Mill but I prefer the newer type of wheat grinder called the Nutrimill.

The machine that I used to make & knead the bread is called a Botsch.

You can get these along with the dough enhancer, wheat gluten, pans, and bags I used from

Here is the ingredients for the bread recipe.....

Add 3 1/2 cups warm water, 1 1/2 Tbsp yeast, and 1 Tbsp honey in a mixing bowl. Mix together and then let sit for 8 minutes.

Add 2 cups white flour, 2 cups wheat flour, 1 egg, 1/4 cup oil, 3/4 cup honey, 2 tsp salt, 2 tsp dough enhancer, 2 tsp wheat gluten to the mixer and mix together.

Add 5-6 cups wheat flour until the dough pulls off the side.

Knead in the machine for 8 minutes.

Separate into 3 loaves and add them to greases pans.

Let rise on the counter or in a warm oven until doubled.

Bake at 350 for 30-33 minutes.

Eat it up! Yummy!!

Homemade Lasagne!!! The BEST!

I grew up on this recipe. My mom would make it for me every year on my birthday and if I had a special request. Takes a while to make but soooo worth the wait!!!

Mom's Lasagne

1 lb ground beef
1 1/2 tsp salt
2 6-ounce cans tomato paste
1 1/2 cups Parmesan cheese
2 Tbsp parsley flakes
1 tsp salt
1 lb mozzarella cheese
1 Tbsp basil
1 bay leaf
1 lb canned whole tomatoes
lasagne noodles
3 cups cottage cheese
2 beaten eggs
1/2 tsp pepper

Brown ground beef. Drain. Add basil, bay leaf, 1 1/2 tsp salt, tomatoes, tomato paste, and 9 ounces water. Simmer uncovered 30 minutes. Cook noodles, drain. Combine cottage cheese, parsley, Parmesan cheese, eggs, salt and pepper. Layer in this order: noodles, cottage cheese filling, mozzarella cheese, and meat sauce.

Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. YUMMY!!!

Yesterday I spent the day sleeping and it was WONDERFUL!! With 5 little children I hardly find the time to take a nap but I slipped one in and even got to bed by 9 pm last night. Hopefully we will all be completely well by tomorrow.

This coming Thursday I will be leaving for CHA ( in California where I will have my own booth (1021). Stop by and visit me for a free make & take if you plan on attending! I have some exciting news that I will announce at CHA and also on Friday, January 22nd LIVE on my blog at my Pink Pajama Party that will be broadcast from my hotel room. Karlee and the girls from Custom Crops will also be there with us. We will have lots of fun goodies to give away and lots of stuff to share! You will not want to miss it!!!

I do plan on uploading some videos this weekend and next week. Now that I am pretty much prepared for CHA I can do some fun things for My Pink Stamper! Yippee!!!
