Hi, everybody!   Here is a fun 6" square winter card that had me pulling out (gasp!) my sewing machine.  I don't actually know how to sew on fabric, so I thought I'd make a paper "quilt" for the background.  I used AC patterned paper that I cut into one inch squares and adhered to PTI Dark Chocolate cardstock, and then I sewed in between all of the rows and columns.  The layer behind that is PTI Kraft cardstock, and the card itself is from Core'dinations cardstock.  The cute little snowmen are from the Winter Woodland cartridge, cut at 4" from Core'dinations cardstock.  I topped the card off with an adorable sentiment from My Pink Stamper's Winter Punnies stamp set, stamped on a ticket that I made from an ekSuccess punch and attached to the card with a PTI button and Rustic Jute Button Twine.

Lauren also has some exciting news of her own this week!!  She just arrived home from the hospital YESTERDAY after delivering a new bundle of joy.  Here is her exciting baby info...

Elijah Joseph

born 10.7.10.

7lbs, 19 1/2inches

Congratulations Lauren!!!
For this project I used Winter Woodland and My Pink Stamper Christmas Wishes stamps!! I thought the trees and the sentiment were perfect for each other!! I heat embossed the sentiment so it really stood out and added some stickles to the trees!! Enjoy!

Today for our project I created a Christmas Wish List notebook for my sister in law. We live so far away from each other so every year my kids make a Christmas list and send it to her. This year I decided I would make something that she can keep her Christmas shopping list all in one place. She will be a new mommy this year so I wanted to help make her life a little simpler. So, I took a plain notebook I purchased, decorated it, added a pocket in the front and back inside covers. I also used Robyn's new stamp set "Christmas Wishes" for the front cover and on the inside I added a cute snow flake and created a border with Robyn's stamp set "Winter Punnies". I think they added the perfect touch!!!

I cannot believe winter is ALMOST here! Here is my CUTE snowman ornament window card I designed in my Gypsy girl! For that fabulous sentiment, it is from My Pink Stamper's "Winter Punnies"!

Today I made this cute little bird from Create a Critter for a winter themed card.  The Snow Adorable from My Pink Stamper's Winter Punnies just went so well with this card.  The pape is glitter paper from DCWV and punched with Martha Stewart around the page punches.  I also used that same glitter paper for the bird's wing and hair flower.  You can see more details on my blog.

Hi my Pink Pals, this is a square 5 1/2 X 5 1/2 card base and the only cut was made using the Winter Woodland cartridge, I used some paper from Stampin Up, Core-dinations, and Bazzill some of the finishing touches are done with Star Dust Stickles, a  little satin ribbon, and of course the topper off with My Pink Stampers "Winter Puns" stamp.

I had so much fun making this card! I tried a new technique!! I used one of the snow flake stamps from Winter Punnies to make my own background paper! First I stamped snowflakes on the red cardstock with embossing ink.  Then I sprinkled on clear embossing powder and tapped it off.  Next, I used my heat tool to melt the embossing powder.  While the embossed snowflakes were still hot, I sprinkled glitter on top. (I sometimes had to reheat the snowflakes as I went.)
Here is the 'recipe' for this card:  Snow Friends Cricut Cartridge, My Pink Stamper Stamps (Winter Punnies), Crinkle Ribbon, Peachy Keen Everyday Character Face Parts, Martha Stewart punch, Glossy accents, Embossing ink and clear embossing powder for the snowflakes, ink, glitter, and cardstock.
Thanks again for all of the fun stamps, Robyn!  I absolutely love them!!!!!

Hey Robyn, I have to say that since I started coming to your blog, I am no longer being a lazy scrapper. I have gotten away from the little things such as embossing the bottom layer of paper, putting the stickles on, or any embellisments. I now have a new outlook, and I am going to strive to do all the extras again!! So Thank You, Karen
