Wow! This is an awesome challenge. It seems like every year on this day, since the tragedy, people have been thinking less and less of the brave men and women who sacrificed their lives to help save the lives of others.

This is such a great thing. My husband served in Iraq for 2 years and it's nice to know that he is appreciated by others. Thanks to all our service men and women whether they are military, police, fireman, doctors or teachers. God Bless!

I should have never doubted you, Robyn! I have been disappointed at the blogs today - except for just a couple (AND YOU, OF COURSE) none have even mentioned the importance of today!!!

Thank you for remembering what our country went thru 9 years ago and for those we lost and their families! And, we must remember the men and women serving to day so that we can enjoy what freedoms we have left in this country! Our prayers are with them!

My cousin has been a nurse in the Navy for 20 yrs now. She loves Cake and Ear Rings. I am giving her for her bday a 14 white gold hoop ear rings and what better way to package them, in this cute cake box. I may make another one and put a real cupcake in it too.

My hubby is Navy. Many of my family were or are in the Armed Forces. MY brother was in Vietnam, many cousins went to Iraq, etc

Thanks Robin for doing the awesome giveaway. I have been working hard on her packaging for her gift.

Thanks so much for this challenge, Robyn. If there are cardmakers out there who don't know what to do with their cards, I urge them to check out http://www.OperationWriteHome.org
This is an organiization of cardmakers who send their blank cards (through this clearinghouse) to service personnel overseas, so they can send something back to their friends and families. In addition, they send *AnyHero* cards, which are created and signed by the crafter, to those who may not be getting snailmail from home. Thanks again for offering this challenge today...we MUST NEVER forget!

Oh how I would so love to participate in this challenge, but unfortunately I am working a 12 hour shift today and will be going straight to bed as I will be doing that again tomorrow. I do love you for doing this and your giveaways are always special. I will always remember where and what I was doing on this day 9 years ago.

Does not seem like years and I dont think no one will ever forget where and what they were doing, know I wont. Today as we do yard work and grumbling the whole time I had to remind myself how lucky we are to have everyone here safe and sound while others have lost so much. Makes you relize its a blessing to have a day that is simple as yard work.

Great tribute Robyn, I've since retired from the military but I was deployed to Bosnia when 9/11 happened. My husband was working at the Pentagon then. I'll never forget the terror of calling him over and over trying to get through the jammed lines. Those images are seared into my brain and I don't think the white hot rage I feel will ever dissipate. My organization back in DC lost 9 people that day. To all my friends still serving God bless you and keep you and yours safe.

I wasn't able to participate in this challenge, but loved it. My husband isn't in the military, but he does work for our local power company. And there have been many times during hurricane season he is gone for days restoring power due to storms. They don't get the appreciation that they deserve, so please include them.

Robin this is wonderful!!!! I love all the amazing cards. My Husband is currentl stationed over in Afghanistan and has approx 65 young men and women working for him, I wanted to do something special for them for Veteran's Day and so I custome made them all their own Veteran's day cards, had family and friends sign them saying thank you for your service. My husband then had the soldiers sign the cards as well so that they would have a little keep sake from the mission. I can't tell you how many compliments I received from the soldiers. These ideas were wonderful!!! Great job!!! I love it!!!!
