Cricut Imagine is in the House!

Hello Everyone!

My Cricut Imagine arrived this past Friday just a few minutes before I was on my way out the door to the airport!  Pure agony!!  I was able to play with it for a few minutes to put together an informative video for you guys.  I hope you find it helpful!

The official Cricut Imagine Launch on HSN will be Tuesday, September 14th.  You will not want to miss it!
I will be having a Countdown to the  Imagine with a giveaway everyday, new videos, and lots of projects!  Don't forget to check back regularly, too!

Note:  I do work with Provo Craft on products before they are released to the public to give them my input and help answer your questions.

For today's giveaway I have........

Cricut Lite Meow Cartridge!  Just leave a comment on what you think of the new Imagine machine.  Please keep your comments nice.  We all have different opinions but no need to shoot the messenger.  :)  That's me!  LOL!

  2. I'm not such a fan. I think ink would get expensive fast and I like to pick my own colors.

PS. Sorry if this posts multiple times, I keep getting an error.

  3. Even though I won't be able to get one for awhile, I think the new machine looks awesome!! Can't wait to see all the projects!

  6. I think the Imagine is going to be an awesome tool!!! I cannot wait for the launch on the 14th. My birthday is the 12th so it may just have to be my bday present!

  7. I think the Imagine is a neat machine, but probably will not be purchasing it. I really enjoy using my expression and picking the papers to match my layouts and don't want to spend the money to replace the ink in the Imagine.

  13. I think that this is an exceptional idea and combo of the products and printer. I think that it will be successful, of course! My girlfriend and I keep teasing each other as to who will be the first one to buy this. I say her (or her hubby will buy for her). I do know that if I happen to win a small lottery prize, then I am definitely buying it. Keep on with the videos so that we can jump right into using this. My kitten, Michael, is sitting next to me and watching the videos on my computer. He says that mommy would love to win the Meow cartridge! Thanks for the fun and esp for the videos!

  14. So excited to see a cartridge for a kitty, "Meow" I just got a kitty unexpectly when my husband brought "Gracie" she was saved by God's grace, my husband seen her get tossed around under a coal train and when he went to check her she was alive. She is doing well, she is now the vet thinks about 7 wks old. She is so, so tiny but doing so, so well.

  15. i think the best part about the imagine is that it will layer! i'm excited to see all of your new projects created with it!
    thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  16. I don't know...I am kind of on the fence about it. I just got my Expression and have had fun exploring all the neat things it can do. I like being able to pick out my own papers, mix and match my own layers and actually putting together the LO's. Seems the Imagine takes some of this away.

However, it is a wonderful invention and beautiful machine!! Maybe one day....

  19. This is not for me. Too expensive. I already have a printer and an expression that will do everything I want to do- don't need to combine the 2 for that price.

  20. Sounds pretty cool but at a cost! Still trying to learn my expression!

  21. OMG its so cute with so many possibilities,

    ReplyDelete
  22. I think the imagine might be great for some people but not for me. I think it seems to take away your own creativity. I will keep watching videos being done and see if I change my mind.

I have only had the bug and expecting my expression to arrive by UPS tomorrow!!

    ReplyDelete
  23. I am not sure yet . . . I saw it at CHA and have been thinking about it since. I think it is going to be a wait and see thing for me. I am excited that you will be showing some videos on it. Maybe you will convince me ;)

  24. Thank you again for the wonderful demo and information

  25. Hmmm, what do I think of the Imagine? For one, its expensive.
However, it looks amazing and I dont think, I KNOW I would love to have it!!!! LOL. I am still using my baby cricut!

    Maybe one day.

  135. Can't wait to see the projects you create with the Imagine. I just got an Expression for my birthday, so I'm not sure if I'll look at it anytime soon. But I think it's great that Provo Craft is constantly expanding it's horizons.

  144. I have mixed feelings about the imagine! I think it is awesome, but I have not figured out how cost effective it is in the long run yet. As more information about it comes out I think I will be able to make a better decision!

  146. I am so excited about the Imagine. I didn't think I would want it - I thought it would be hard to use but it looks so easy! I can't wait to see the other carts.

  147. I think the Imagine looks awesome, but I have to agree with so many other comments - I wonder about the cost. In particular, I think the cost of ink could potentially be prohibitive.

  148. Wow! I want one!! It looks amazing I do think it is expensive and then the added cost of the ink.

  151. I think it is a great idea, having to buy ink carts is not so great, but, I'll probably save my pennies to purchase one down the road.

  152. I love the new Meow cartridge - it's adorable. The imagine to me, takes scrapping to a more "professional" level, and removes the amateur. While I would certainly give it a try, it is not on my wish list to buy.

  153. Wow!!! I sooooo want one! Going to be hard to pry me away from HSN on the debut.

  155. Not sure yet how I feel about the Imagine. I think I'd like some of what you can do but really enjoy all my paper cutting and choosing. Don't think I'll be getting one but look forward to watching videos on how it works.

  156. oh my goodness! How awesome is that?? I remember Ginger saying that it can print 50 full pages per ink cartridge, a friend of mine told me that is a TON for what you're paying for them so i'm not too worried about the ink prices! Now i've got to save up so I can get one :)

  162. The imagine is not what I wanted the printing cricut to be. I was hoping we could take the shape/images from the cartridges and then use our fonts and clip arts from our computer to print directly to the images. But it's cool not something I would buy at this time.

    Thanks

  167. I would like to see it some more before I form an opinion. Right now I see pros and cons. With someone who has little space it would be great not to have to have all that paper. HP would be smart to keep the ink inexpensive to make this more cost effective. I also see that there is a lot of parts that could break and would be interested in the warranty information. I am sure like all new things there will be kinks to work out. If you take money out of the picture it looks like a fun machine to play with. It will be interesting to see how many people will like the computer aspect. Will the gypsy have all the pattern paper to play with? How does the gypsy interact with it? But still I think SO COOL!

  183. I think it's a neat machine, but I won't be getting one. I already have the Cricut and the Expression. If I didn't have two, I would probably consider getting the Imagine. But I am also concerned about the cost of the ink.
I do like that you can customize the color easily :)

  184. I am kinda on the fence with this one. i think i will have to wait till 1. the price comes down and 2. they work out all the bugs cuz like with everything new, you know they will have them.

right now i am finding it hard to find time to scrapbook. but hopefully soon

  185. I like what the imagine can do but doubt if I will buy one. It will be more expensive here in Canada. Would love the meow cricut lite as our Walmarts in Canada only have 4 of the 24 cartridges and this isn't one of them.

  190. From what I've seen so far, the Imagine looks interesting and different, but it might be a little too expensive for me, especially with replacing the ink cartridges. I'll see what the reviews continue to say and wait for the price to go down though! I am SUPER EXCITED you're offering the Cricut Lite Meow cartridge for your giveaway - I've been looking for it everywhere and would love to own it! Thanks for everything!

  196. This looks like a must have for me, my only concern is the cost of ink... I am looking forward to more videos and projects and to see what you think about how much ink is used and if it is cost effective. Thanks Robyn, hope you have an amazing trip!

  197. I think the Imagine is one of the coolest things to come out of ProvoCraft. Yeah, it's expensive, but I think it'll be a worthwhile investment. Packs of white cardstock are far more easier to find and less expensive than buying packs of colored paper you may not even use!

I can't wait until I save up enough to get it!! ^______^
