Hey Guys!
I thought I would post pics of my CRAZY CHAOTIC Pink Loft!! I like to keep this room spotless when I craft but have not had the time to clean it up since before CHA. It is a disaster!! Okay, I know it has been much worse before, especially when I have deadlines, but this is driving my batty!! Here is My Pink Loft in all it's glory!!Of course my 12 year old daughter was making a ton of cupcakes for her locker at school so the mess by the Cricut is mostly hers. LOL! Do you like my new curtains? I had treatments made for all of the windows in my house. I will post those later. They are all gorgeous! Love them! This one is my favorite, though, because it has pink in it. :)

I'm just not fortunate to have a scrap room, so my stuff is housed and hidden away in various containers out of sight. I have to pull it all out, scrap, and then put it all away each time I want to make something. I'd die for that room you have! ;) lol

In this case, chaos is a relative term. It wouldn't qualify in my house as being even close.
It's stillcleaner than my space. My older 2 kids use 1/2 my desk area to do their homework and crafts. My younger 2 like to move things around. I really did have my space organized! : (
I just got home from dinner with my sweetie and read you email. I took pictures of my craft space and will share with you in the next few days!!!!! talk about crazy chaotic, well you just wait till you see my space.
I want a craft space to make messy so badly! My husband and I live in a 450 sq. ft. studio and I have to hide everything all the time. But I'm a neat freak too so I understand wanting things put away. Those leopard print floors are wild! :)
My craft space that I have now is in utter turmoil, can you believe 2 bedrooms are now big enough to contain my hobbies. Currently, I have it partially packed up waiting to move into my new craft studio. We just had all the outlets wired and now are painting (not my favorite thing to do) and hopefully we will have the carpet in sometime next week and then I can move all my scrapbooking, sewing and quilting stuff in.
Your space is so awesome Robyn. Yes messy but what can you excpect when you have hardly been home and you actually use it! :) Can you believe mine is actually clean at the moment. I was going to film a video of my room so I cleaned it up after I filmed a video today with Zander making a 3d robot. (will be up in the morning to share) I will have to film it a different day though, day 2 trying to do a video of my space. Oh well at least it is clean ;)

Robyn , It looks like a craft room. You should have seen my sewing room. It was so bad , it really took me four months to get it back in order and I still have a few things to do but I have been sewing so much. For thirty nine years I have enjoyed it and you do it as well and don't worry about it. That is the sign of a great crafter, seamstress, gardener, and cook. All of the above I love.

I would love to live in your utter chaos! My space is not nearly the size of yours, but still just as messy if not more... but all squished together so it looks REAL bad!!
I love your room and the storage systems. My messy room can give your messy room a run for the money.....I am such a messy crafter and when I start to clean, I always stop to craft because I think of another project that I want to get down on paper asap. ;)

Oh Robyn, that's nothing! You should see my space. (Which there is none) And when my 3 year old gets in to my carts, oh boy! they all end up in the wrong boxes. lol

I don't think it is in bad shape! Mine is in y dinning room, right behind my table. I put everything in it's place, but have no room, maybe one day!We have a room with a massive desk that is the"office" but we all must share!I want my own space!
The only clean craft room is one that is NOT used!!! Showroom craftrooms are not a sign of creativity but of WANT of creativity!!!

I love your space and the new window treatment, too. My area has its ups and downs....some times super messy and others somewhat organized.
It's just messy not unorganized. You certainly have designed this space to meet your needs. And it is tough when you share a space with someone. When I scrap with my niece Emma I call her Captain ooze. She tends to move down the table as spreads out all her stuff and she tries to scrap like 5 pages at the same. Oh wait thats me. She at the age of 9 has not had time to pick up my bad habits. I think you should have a scrap room contest of some sort so we all can share our space.
It doesn't look very messy at all! You should see my dining room table (and sometimes the floor nearby) when I'm working on something! I love your scrap space!
Oh, a girl after my own heart! My room is usually "messy". I don't mind it though, then I know I was actually getting something done!

What I wouldn't give for a room like that!! I use my spare bedroom and not much room for me and my things! Thanks for showing us where you do your inspiration!! Keep up the great work, even though the room gets a little messy!! That way, we know you've been having fun!!

Love your craft room...but I know what you mean. After every project I have to clean it up...I can't think in a messy space. I just don't understand how my room goes from spotless to that after one card??
Oh My Robyn!!!! I Gasp at the sight LOL!!!! not really I love it as always when you show pics of your loft is so inspiring love all the PINK of course and the storage systems you have used. Right Now Iam still on hold awaiting my new
PINK PAD myself and its really hard so many projects/videos That I would love to do.
I wish I had all that space..lol my little craft area is a disaster right now(card swap)...need to get it all back to normal and organized. Love your craft room :)

lol i love all the pink robyn!i cant wait til my husband and i move next month because i get my own room for all my crafts i cant wait to set it all up..unfortunately im not allowed to paint it pink :( but i will have plenty of pink in it in other ways.

Yours is still better off than mine is! *LOL* I think maybe the mess is about equal, but I have less space so I don't even have anywhere to work right now :) I think that's part of the creative process though, a cluttered desk is a sign of a brilliant creator... or something like that *LOL*
It's not so bad...Love the curtains, and I also got my new pink ATG on Monday. How did I ever live without it? I actually took 2 vacation days off work last month to do a total overhaul of my craft room. Plus the weekend, so I spent 4 whole LONG days cleaning/organizing. Now, I'm so happy I did it :)

I have my own craft room also but it's not as large as yours. I just added another desk for sewing as I'm making a quilt at the same time as I do crafts - one project in each hand!!

I totally relate to going batty with the mess, but I have to confess my space looked worse last night...I wanted to run from the room when originally I felt like crafting! Did some cleaning and little crafting but it is ready for me today! Fun curtains you have :o)

Look at all that space and the tables! I'm so jealous!! Those curtains are adorable. I'll come clean and oraganize and you can get me some tables! Right!!??!! LOL No, it's great you can see the whole "clean" through it all.
Compared to my "space," yours looks great!! I have a very, very small space, not a room, to do all my scrapbooking. When the grandchildren come over, they like to work in my "space." I have to remind them to pick up and put away.
If only my space was that clean! Love you space!

I'm sure it has taken you a while to get back into the swing of things after CHA! Especially with school shopping, and physicals, and catching up on laundry and house cleaning etc. How can you not have a messy scrap room! lol

Love your room! I'm putting a craft room on my Christmas list this year. My husband launched me into scrapping by buying me the cricut expression for Christmas last year and even sectioned off a corner in our Condo for me to scrap all with our 1st baby on the way. In less than a year I have already outgrown this space. I would LOVE to have a craft room like yours. I still believe in Santa so hopefully, hubby can come through again this year. We'd of course need to get a bigger house (my main Prayer this year) and I'd want my room in Blue. All of my cricut itmes are in Blue when ever I can get them except for my pink ATG Gun.... Love your room...It's Pink-a-licious!

Love the curtains, Robyn! We just did my dd room in black and white zebra and polka dots. Her walls were already purple. She was tired of the pink and purple so we added black and white and it pops! Photos are on my blog.
I know what you mean about needing it spotless when you craft. But my space always looks like that too! Proof of a well used room!
Robyn, I love crafting in a clean space too. I am pretty spoiled. My cleaning fairy comes in the middle of the night because when I wake up my craft room is clean:)

Hi Roybn, although ur craftroom is messy its still cute. I would love to have my very own craftroom. I craft in my bedroom and have everything stored here and there and I have to bring everything out to be at hand when I craft and put everything away when Im done, man its so annoying. But oh well, I know that someday I will have my own craftroom, I just hope it happens soon:)lol.

I feel "O" so much better after seeing your craft space. When I paper craft my room becomes a disaster area; all kinds of paper, cartridges, stickles and embellishments galore, and let's not forget all the tape/glue mediums one might need. I'm currently making my Christmas cards and everything is everywhere.

What mess? That's just SOP (standard operating procedure) for me. I wish I had even half your space. My scrap "area" is a 4x6 space at the end of the upstairs hallway. Have a great weekend!

It's not that bad!! I'm a believer in being orderly and as neat as possible on MOST occasions, but I also think the bigger the mess, the more fun was had while making it!!!!
well i certainly don't think its a mess at all, i just love that room, love those curtains too!!! and i really like the way you stack crates on your desk what a neat idea!! and it looks good, you certainly did a great job in that room , no wonder your daughter likes to spend time in there, so many craft supplies for her to work with!! she probably is gonna take after her mommy!!!!
Hi! Thanks for sharing your space! You should think of making a photo inventory for insurance purposes. (including the rest of your house, too). I'm not an insurance sales person, I've just had similar things happen to people I'm close to.

I love this room. All I have is a computer desk and everyone is always at it. Is there one thing in this room that you feel you should use more?
LOL. Your room is much cleaner than mine by a long shot. I can't even see the floor and have a small path to get to my cricut and carts. Don't dare sneeze. One of these days it will be clean again too!! Then I will not know how to act.

Your room looks clean compared to mine, especially since my house was destroyed my water damage from a storm last week. My craft room was spared thankfully!

My daughter, Jenny (who met you at CHA along with me), has been using my baby cricut to make things for school. I bought Rock Princess for her and she has made things out of both paper and vinyl.

I feel your pain! I haven't been able to touch mine for a week and I am hoping to get it cleaned up. I can't stand it when it's so messy cuz then I can never find anything. Who new that creativity was such a chaotic process? But still, I'd love to move into your pink loft even in all of it's glory!!!!
Oh my gosh girl if you think that's a mess think again. That's on a clean day at my house. I have too much stuff in too little a room - hence chaos!!! Keep doing what you do best. We all appreciate it.

I have a room for my crafts, but no organization. I started scrapbooking in 1998, but did not organize everything. Now feel too old to try and since retirement more people want to work on their ideas with me and no room.
I will keep trying though to get organized a little at a time.
You inspire me.
Mine was far worse until my hubby and daughter decided to re do a couple of rooms in the house and I got orders to clean it up. I volunteered to move to the basement a much bigger space, but that didn't fly.
I love it! I just got a little desk to put in our spare room! And organized all of my stuff. Now I am motivated!

Love your space! Since organizing is my passion and forte, I'd love to congratulate you on the way you have set it up. Even when it's chaos, it's probably pretty easy to get it back in ship shape. That's the true mark of great organization! Congrats!

Here's my little room (half of a room) in all it's messy glory. My friend Kathy is visiting today and she's a 2nd grade teacher so we're going to put the Cricut to work. :)

oh honey...thats nothing. My studio is horrible. My husband even told me the other day to let him know when he could walk through the room without killing himself. Its horrible. But guess what its my first scrapbooking room. Its all mine, and I dont care if its a mess...I only hate it when I cant find what I am looking for...LOL
Oh my, your mess still looks great! I need to tackle my scrappy mess this week. My table and closet are in such a complete disaster I would be embarrassed to take pics of it. ;)

I love it! I wish my craft space was that big. My husband is military and we just recently moved to Guam. Military houses are not big so my scrapbooking room is the laundry room. It's actually quit big for a laundry room which made me think to put my stuff there. I can't wait to get it set up.
This is not too bad at all, I have seen far worse in blogland lol. Love the curtains they really go with your room.
