Episode 231 - It's Cold Outside, a Challenge, and a Giveaway!
Hi Everyone!
Yikes! I have been trying to upload this video for 3 full days now! I have tried over 13 different times with waiting an hour or two each time only to have it not work! What a huge pain, I'm telling ya! I had to plug it into our modem, which is not going to work in the future, but I did get it to work this time. Okay, no more complaining about it from me. At least it is up now! YAAAAAY!
Okay, here is a simple but super adorable card I made using Cricut 3 Birds on Parade along with my new stamp set Winter Punnies. I have a challenge and a giveaway with this!
Challenge: Make a Winter card, scrapbook page, or other craft item with your Cricut and share it here on the Inlinz link. Everyone who enters one project will be in the drawing to win my NEW Winter Punnies stamp set! This project needs to be started AFTER I post this. Please do not post something that you have made previously. That is why we call it a challenge. LOL! I will close this challenge on Wednesday at 7:59 AM and announce the winner shortly thereafter. Very cute! My oldest younger sister and I live 7 hours apart, but we met in Chicago for the Supershow and had a supertime! (She was sitting next to you at the circle event).
We both had to get the punnylicious and more punnylicious because we live too far away to share. Love the winter one too!

I ordered your next set of stamps as soon and I saw them...I have been drooling over 3 birds on parade since it was released. Thought I would wait awile this time and purchase it from cricut.com. My husband freaks about HSN boxes. Very cute card. I love your stamps. Even hubby gets into carding when I take him a stamp and ask his opinion. First thing in my carding he giggles about!

This was a really fun challenge! It was harder than I thought to make something winter themed without making it Christmas-y. But it was a blast... Thanks for the challenge. :)

I. too, am waiting for Cuttlebug to come out with a bigger platform. The Wizard, for Spellbinders, came out with a bigger platform but it will not use big thick dies. I also want that as an option. Course, then the machine will also take up more room to store it. But I think that the embossing folders and thin dies will get bigger and bigger.

All I can say is thank goodness for the software that picks a number, because if you had to judge the best card or project from above... I don't know how you could do it. I am humbled by these challenges and she all the wonderful projects.
