Life has sure kept me busy this week and guess what??? The kids have only been out of school for one week! It seems like forever!! LOL! We are having a great time, though.
This card was brought to you by a couple of viewer requests. I hope you enjoy it!
I will be drawing the winner of Forever Young on Monday. Good luck everyone! There is A LOT in store for you next week. Karlee arrives on Tuesday and then I have A TON of other fun stuff to announce!
Don't forget that My Pink Stamper LIVE will be broadcast from HERE this Friday, June 11th, at 8:00 PM CST. You won't want to miss this one!!!
Robyn, This is really pretty. I love the colors together. I have been making a lot of sympathy cards lately. I love your design. Enjoy your weekend. ~Madison
I have to remember to use black more often. It can be used all year round, for any occassion I think. I'm also glad you highlighted the "first" cricut cart!
I love the card, but I have one problem... I got my cricut from my sister and I don't have the GEORGE Cartridge (YET) what other flower would you suggest.... thanks dwgedg@yahoo.com
Great card Robyn. Those colors are always perfect together! As for being busy, I try not think about it because all of the upcoming things in the summer take my mind to August....how can that be when the summer just started????
Robyn, I never would have thought to use those colors on a sympathy card.... But they seem to work... the card looks lovely! Thanks for the video! Have a great day!!! :)
Not sure I would use those colors for a sympathy card, but for another type of card it would be great. The pink is just too bright for me. I do like that it is a relatively easy to make/quick card.
This card is so neat & EASY! I have George and always used it for letters only. I didn't know how to use it besides cut out letters! LOL Thanks for showing!!
What a beautiful card. I love that you posted more ideas for using the George Cartridge. I get stumped when I try to use it. Thank you for being an inspiration.
My favorite Cricut Cartridge is "Everyday Paper Dolls". I love all the everyday items you can use when scrapbooking. I love you website and have told all my friends about it. Keep up the great work.Bishops61@yahoo.com
Unfortunately, sympathy cards are always needed, but not always made. This one seems to celebrate life instead of just acknowledging the passing of a life. Thanks for sharing -
I love the colors you used on your card! I would have to say it is Sports Mania because I have a very athletic family and I can make boy and girl athlete's and all kinds of memorabilia in their school teams & favorite teams.
I didn't even know we had those flowers on that cartridge, guess I better dig it out. Love the card, to me this would be a nice baby girl sympathy card. Angel hugs Debby
Thank you for posting a full pic of the card, in addition to your creative pic! I had left a comment about that on a different post. I know I'm just one person but I really appreciate it, as at work I can't view the videos so it's hard to see what you actually made.
You are so good with color.the card looks great. I love your site. I'm the Ed. Cooranator at our local Joann Fabrics. I do demos on the Cricut and Gypsy and I'm always telling new Cricut owners to go to your site and watch your videos. Keep up the good work. Dorothy in Montgomery Al. dknuckolls@yahoo.com
This is such a useful card. Thank you for showing what the George can do, I usually use only one flower and on blackout - I will certainly experiment with it from now on.
The colours you used are perfect as a sympathy card.
Robyn -- LOVE THE PINK & BLACK. I find so many sympathy cards are in very subdued, depressing colors -- this is a great alternative! What a great uplifting & hopeful card to send to someone at such a sad time in their life! THANKS!
I love how you've turned the silhouette so it is not even with the flower base. It looks great!! I find sympathy cards the most difficult to make. Thanks for another idea.
Robyn: How come I can never leave a comment? It says it has been saved but it never comes up on the comment form. I love George, could not scrapbook without it. Thank you for the chance to win forever young. annaj
Robyn, Thanks for helping me to think outside of the box! I always use more subdued colors for sympathy cards. How old fashioned of me! I simply adore your card! TFS.
Hi Robyn, I made some stair step cards this week using the Cricut. I'd love it if you get a chance to take a look. Here's the link. http://www.howtohomemaker.com/2010/06/how-to-make-stairstep-card.html Thanks and Blessings! Nancy
I used George alot.....I used it for making flowers.....Your card is so pretty.....and I know I will have to make one for sure.....thank you and look forward to your time with Karlee.....it's going to be so much fun.....again.....yippee....
Robyn, I really enjoy your videos and I can't believe that someone has more pink stuff than me! My favorite cartridges are the Paper Doll Dressup and Everyday Paper Dolls. I've been using them lately to send to my two grandsons who are 4 and 5. I cut out several bodies/shoes/hair, etc. and then also cut out a bunch of outfits and costumes. (I have to cut two of each so that there aren't arguments!)According to their mom, they're having a blast putting them together. So that's my favorite (this week) Please keep the videos coming- Thanks!
Love the color combo and the flower! Can you believe I don't have this cart? I didn't get the baby bug, only the expression. Now I'll have to look for it!
My husband surprised me with a Cricut Create and I have been watching your videos and all I want to do is play with my new toy. You have helped me sooo much. I have learned alot from watching your videos about how to use my Cricut. Thank you!

Gorgeous card! Could you tell me the adhesives you used? I need to branch out and get some better adhesives and I'm not sure where to look.
