Sorry this is so late. I had planned on uploading a video for this project earlier in the day but time just slipped away from me. My oldest 3 children had their piano recital and they did excellent, if I do say so myself! I love watching my children grow in their talents.
I made this video to go along with Cricut Wall Decor and More. I hope you enjoy it!
Wednesday is going to be a BIG day over here at My Pink Stamper. I am announcing all of the winners for the Hello Thursday giveaways! That will be sometime in the morning to early afternoon. I also have a special spotlight feature I have scheduled.
This Friday I am giving away a Cricut Expression courtesty of Provo Craft. We are also doing a challenge with the Design Team. You are not going to want to miss this one!!!
Robyn...beautiful job...I love the transfer tape...but what I do...it leave the image on the vinyl, you remove the negative (non cut) then layer the transfer tape on top of that & then apply to the wall...Thanks for all you do<3
Tooo cute!! Unfortunately the only boy in this house is daddy...but I could use this for future reference. We have 3 girls,so I'm sure there will be lots of boys around later,LOL.Thanks for sharing this was adorable!!
So cute! I'm sure your girls loved it. I really need to try out vinyl. I picked some up on sale a while ago, I just haven't done it yet!! sarabritton3 at gmail dot com
How sweet is that! I wish I had a sign on my door like that when I was growing up. You are a way cool mom! You do so much for your kids......and us too! neesey2008@gmail.com
I can't believe everybody is still awake!! lol.... CUTE project Robyn!! I guess I should make one that says "No Girls" allowed "Except for Mommy" :) Hugs, Emma;)
How cute! The only thing that would have made that video any sweeter would have been to hear your daughters impressions when they got home and saw what their super cool mom had done for them! I bet there were real squeals of delight!
Very cute Vinyl wall Decor Robyn! I love the fact that you realized you should have used the transfer tape on the flower after you started to put it up...LOL I haven;t used my vinyl as yet...but you give me hope that I will do it soon! :) Have a great night! :) kingcobras_69atfrontiernetdotnet
Love it! So cute! We have had the "no boys allowed" sign before, but not as cute as this. I have yet to cut vinyl on my cricut. Looks like I will just have to go ahead and try it. Thanks for sharing.
That is too funny! Your project is cute! I hope they liked it. I've never used vinyl before but my friend just had twins and she wants me to make banners with their names on it for over their cribs. So thanks for sharing; I'll need all the help I can get!
Very cute I am sure your girls loved it. I have worked with vinyl some its not to hard to use but the transfer tape is very handy. Cant wait to make wall art and such for our new house.
That's awesomw!!! I bought 4 colours of cricut vinyl over a year ago and have yet to use it! I'm definitelt going to have to try it now! Well not RIGHT now....it's late. qtme2003@yahoo.ca
So cute, love it! Vinyl has been on my to do list, as I'm still exploring all the possibilities of my new Cricut! Do cherish this time with your children, they do grow up fast and before you know it they are on their own, like my DD!
I have wanted to try vinyl for a while now. My 5 year old daughter has requested Tinker Bell on her wall for her new room. I told her I was still learning my Cricut but would try it some day. Thank you for your wisdom and inspiration.
I agree about the transfer tape. I've only done a couple projects, but for sure I've learned to use the transfer tape. I have one girl and two boys, so that sign would be perfect for my girl. She would be begging me for it if she saw it!
Oh goodness I am new to the cricut and I have just gotten some much needed inspiration from you. I have some vinyl and have been contemplating what exactly I was going to do with it. You totally ROCK! I love your site.
thanks robin. i can not wait to see if i win friday. i would love to have the expression. i am raising 3 grandchildren and the create machine is just not big enough for some things. my grands craft with me all the time.
grandma needs that big mama of a machine. thank you sweetie for showing all the cartridges and what we can do with them and the giveaways.
That you for a very fun project. I am sure my oldest daughter is going to want this sign once she see this video, LOL!! I love to see my children grow in there talents too. It is so amazing to watch them blossom!! Thank you for all of the fun give aways this week! HUGS Cristi mygirlzandzanderock@gmail.com
I used the vinyl to customize my daughter's soccer ball. I stole the idea from my friend, she customized her daughter's soccer spikes. They both like great.
Love the transfer tape, also I've never cut through the backer sheet when using vinyl. I thought that was the idea of the "kiss cut". Is that right or wrong? Thanks so much for sharing with the vinyl!
I’m sure your girls loved it. It looks really nice. I’ve never done vinyl will have to give it a try. Where do you buy your vinyl? Thanks for the video. disneynut77 at yahoo dot com
Cute! This cartridge is great. I cut vinyl for the first time last Saturday and decorated my Pink Expression and a few water bottles for my friends. It's fun and I definitely recommend the transfer tape. We used Cricut vinyl & the 3,3,3, kiss cut worked awesome. We used some Stampin Up Vinyl and it cut like butter too and comes with the sheet of transfer tape (I like that). We also used some less expensive vinyl from Hobby Lobby and found we need to set our Cricut at 3, 2, 3 for the best cut. Fun for a lot of projects. I know your kids are going to love the sign in their room. donnafaglieatgmaildotcom
Super, Super, Cute Robyn I remember my kids when they did that stuff so funny, Im excited about this cartridge because I have alot of rooms being redone and this would just be perfect for alot of the walls, TFIM
Now as a Grandma, I love doing wall decor vinyl for my granddaughter (I only have 1 so far and she's 2). Can't wait to get this cart. Would love to win it -- cause I haven't found a cart I don't want yet! LOVE LOVE LOVE the reaction when I put something on her walls & she kisses 'em goodnight because they are her friends! Would love to make her the castle cuz she's my Princess!
Very cute project! I was hesitiant to try vinyl but a few weeks ago I took the plunge and now I'm addicted! It was SO easy to use. I definitely recommend the transfer tape and I do a "kiss cut" on my mat (pressure and speed both at 3) then remove excess vinyl, add my transfer tape on top of the image and then remove from mat. So easy! Thanks for sharing your project and ideas! Jude
How cut is that!?! I a sure your girls were so excited when they got home. Now you will have to do the 'no girls allowed' on the boys' room. I really need to try some vinyl - it looks like so much fun!!! melissa scuba-n-scrappen at att dot net
Robyn this is perfect for your girls room. I used my first piece of glittered vinyl last week and I used it on a CARD, it looked great and I can't wait to make something for walls now. Kim xXx
Can't wait for the Cricut Expression giveaway! I have been wanting to upgrade my machine for months but life needs always get in the way of that purchase!
Thanks for showing a vinyl project. I've had my cricut for several months now and have never tried vinyl because I didn't know what to expect. Now I do thanks to you! :) booger1@tds.net
It is so cute - I will have to make a no girls allowed for my 5 yr since he gets upset when his cousins (all girls) comes into his room.. lol can't wait for Wednesday.. here's fingers and toes crossed parkernana5@cox.net
Phew. It's been a great week! and still going strong! Thanks Robyn, as always, for a chance to win some fabulous prizes. craftychick99 at yahoo dot com
Very cute idea Robyn...I'm sure your girls will love this....I do have a question....how easy is this to get off of wood? I have done some vinyl on my mirrors and it was a little hard to get off.....thanks for sharing.
Robyn Another awesome cart! Thanks! Also, its your projects that really make the cart come alive! Keep up the inpiration! Brenda dblowesatsympaticodotca
Robyn....how cute! My girls want me to make one for their door now. I'm sure my son will want a no girls allowed sign. Is the transfer tape part of the vinyl or separate? Thanks. Scarlet SLD999 at aol dot com.
I am going to have to watch this later this evening, because......
MY BABY GIRL IS GRADUATING FROM HS today!!! We had to stop by the University yesterday to drop off some paperwork, it was so surreal...Yep Robyn, your turn is coming!!!! :) So yes, all of your children's accomplishments will continue and grow..it is an amazing and slightly sad experience.
I love your videos, and I really hope I commented on the Cindy Loo cart, because it is adorable, and I want a chance to win that one!!! But good luck to everyone!!!!
I will check back tonight or tomorrow morning, depending on the festivities going on after Graduation, sorry..I can't help myself, I'm over the moon!!!! LOL
Have a fantastic day Robyn!!!! Crafty Hugs to all!!!
I bet your girls were surprised with their "no boys allowed" door! So cute!! I love working with vinyl! It is so much fun!! And the transfer tapes makes it so much easier to work with! Brenda
Oh your DD is going to love that! lol Kids are so funny, I remember those days, and I sure do miss them. Thanks so much for the chance to win this great cart. nellie@fairpoint.net
So I haven't used vinyl yet. Hmm, I think I'm gonna try. Maybe the first one will be a Happy Birthday for the sliding glass doors. The little ones try to walk through the doors at our pool birthday parties. :)
Love this! I have used vinyl once and love how it works! I had trouble with my transfer tape, maybe you have another video showing that. I'm off to look.
So cute and your girls are gonna LOVE it!! You so Rock Robyn!!!!Thanks for sharing and would love the chance to win the Cricut Expression. Thanks again to you and to provo craft. You guys are amazing! jskoning@msn.com
I just love this cartridge, My daughter would love the castle and shoes, plus she is in Ballet so I could use the dancer too. Would love to have this one.\
Thank you, thank you, thank you.......I'm getting ready to do my first vinyl project soon for my grandson. Some Cars characters for his wall!! So where is a good place to get vinyl??
Too funny! The video reminded me of my yougest daughter because she is always making signs and sticking them on her door. (and sometimes all over the house lol) Thanks for sharing!
Vinyl is my favorite thing to cut with my Cricut. I love how easily it cuts, and using the trasfer tape makes all those pesky pieces so much easier to place. misha_113@yahoo.com
Where do you buy your vinyl? If you don't have any transfer tape just use the off white painters tape. You can see through it and it makes it easier to place. The wider tape is easier. I love the idea of putting a sign on the door.
Robyn, I loved seeing a vinyl project. Your girls will love it. I know some people cut their vinyl sheet all the way through the backing, but I have found it much easier to have blade, pressure and speed all set at 3 (med) and then cut and things peel off so much nicer.
Cute, cute!!!! And thanks for the change to win these great new cartridges! I hope my post is in time. I always get the emails the day after they are dated.
Another must to buy. I have a few rolls of the vinyl here and have been waiting to find some projects to use it on. Will look get on the wall of my new scrapping room. Thanks for sharing Robyn.
Super cute Robyn. I had to really snicker when I saw your girls note because when my oldest was about 6 or 7 (and before we were blessed with our second child Spencer) he hung a note on his door that said NO GIRLS ALLOWED but MOM. Since I was the only girl in the house I had to laugh. KIDS! Gotta love them. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the project, i love using vinyl. Just ordered some vinyl getting ready to make our team banner for the upcoming relay for life. The more i see of this cartridge the more i want it. Thanks for all your inspiration! Denise
i just may put a phrase on the wall of my studio today after seeing this video...i'm certain your girls will squeal with delight and race to show their brothers!!!
Fun project, Robyn! My 6 yr-old DD would LOVE this...she has 3 brothers and her fave colors at the moment are pink and purple...what more could a little lady want?? TFS!
That is a really cute idea and I'm really like that new cart! I've done a ton with they vinyl - even brought my cricut to my son's school and cut a bunch of vinyl images for teachers to hang up in their classrooms. Very cool!! Jennifer - jennylynn38@hotmail.com
I have been wanting to play with vinyl for a while, but I must say, I have been a little intimidated by the thought of it. I guess the best part about it is that you can remove it whenever you want. Maybe I will start with my craft room. Now that I am home from school for the summer, I have a little time for trial and error. I think I have found another summer project! Enjoy your day! carissawiley at gmail dot com
I love working with vinyl - it cuts so smoothly. Your girls are in for such a nice surprise! Also many thanks for the chance to win this cart. I know I'd love it!
Love that flower! What a surprise that will be when the girls come home. Gives them a sense of entitlement to their own space. You'll have to do one for boys too now.

«Oldest ‹Older 1 – 200 of 254 Newer› Newest»very cute:) I would have liked that when i was younger:(
Robyn...beautiful job...I love the transfer tape...but what I do...it leave the image on the vinyl, you remove the negative (non cut) then layer the transfer tape on top of that & then apply to the wall...Thanks for all you do<3
Tooo cute!! Unfortunately the only boy in this house is daddy...but I could use this for future reference. We have 3 girls,so I'm sure there will be lots of boys around later,LOL.Thanks for sharing this was adorable!!
another thing...when I do layering with vinyl...I tape the 2nd layer on a window & then top it with the 1st layer...makes it easier....
so excited can't wait. Now I can go to bed. lol
Too cute my teens still do this...I should use your idea too.

I haven't tried vinyl yet. Looking forward to it.

Thanks for the chance!!!
debbie_L53@yahoo.com
Very cute project! I was hesitiant to try vinyl but a few weeks ago I took the plunge and now I'm addicted! It was SO easy to use. I definitely recommend the transfer tape and I do a "kiss cut" on my mat (pressure and speed both at 3) then remove excess vinyl, add my transfer tape on top of the image and then remove from mat. So easy! Thanks for sharing your project and ideas! Jude
Cute project!
Adorable Robyn!!! TFS!! I bet your daugters loved it!!

Too funny! The video reminded me of my yougest daughter because she is always making signs and sticking them on her door. (and sometimes all over the house lol)
Thanks for sharing!

Too cute! The girls will love it!

Vinyl is my favorite thing to cut with my Cricut. I love how easily it cuts, and using the trasfer tape makes all those pesky pieces so much easier to place.

I have not used the transfer tape yet. But watching you makes me want to try it. Thanks for sharing.

Love it! Thanks for sharing with all of us :-)

Thanks for showing this. I've never seen the vinyl transferred, so that was helpful. Do you need a deep blade housing for this?

That is so cute

This is so cute. Thanks for showing how the vinyl works with the cricut.

Where do you buy your vinyl? If you don't have any transfer tape just use the off white painters tape. You can see through it and it makes it easier to place. The wider tape is easier. I love the idea of putting a sign on the door.
great project and great cartridge!
That's so cute, Robyn. You'll have to let us know what the girls thought of it...
Smiles!

Cute! Looking forward to tomarrow! TFS and good luck to all.

Robyn, I loved seeing a vinyl project. Your girls will love it. I know some people cut their vinyl sheet all the way through the backing, but I have found it much easier to have blade, pressure and speed all set at 3 (med) and then cut and things peel off so much nicer.
I have never tried cutting with viynl will have to try it some time.
Love the vinyl. Nice job! sjcehill@yahoo.com
Cute, cute!!!! And thanks for the change to win these great new cartridges! I hope my post is in time. I always get the emails the day after they are dated.
Too cute. I know the girls will love this one. I remember wanting to keep my brother out of my room many years ago:) TFS.

Oh, I love this! My girls definitely need one for their room. :) This is a great cartridge, would love to win it! ;-)
What a cute cartridge! Love your 'No Boys Allowed' project, my DD would like that one!!

Pretty, that will have to be my next project, using vinyl to make something for the doors to my grandson's rooms.
I love all of your videos! You make everything look easy! Thanks for a great Hello Thursday!
You make us Cricut Challenged people have hope!!!!

Wow! Very exciting! Thanks, Robyn!
That is a really cute idea and I'm really like that new cart! I've done a ton with they vinyl - even brought my cricut to my son's school and cut a bunch of vinyl images for teachers to hang up in their classrooms. Very cool!!

Awesome video Robyn. Thanks.
Cute! I bet your girls love it. What did the boys say??

I have been wanting to play with vinyl for a while, but I must say, I have been a little intimidated by the thought of it. I guess the best part about it is that you can remove it whenever you want. Maybe I will start with my craft room. Now that I am home from school for the summer, I have a little time for trial and error. I think I have found another summer project!
Enjoy your day!

I love your job and your giveaway, LOL.

I love working with vinyl - it cuts so smoothly. Your girls are in for such a nice surprise! Also many thanks for the chance to win this cart. I know I'd love it!
Wish I had a Cricut when I was growing up. I must have made a dozen "No boys allowed" signs.
Thanks for sharing about the transfer tape. I've never used it before but I may pick some up now.

Love that flower! What a surprise that will be when the girls come home. Gives them a sense of entitlement to their own space. You'll have to do one for boys too now.
You make the vinyl look so easy. I want to try it, but haven't gotten the guts yet. Maybe I should start with something small.
Any suggestions on where to get the vinyl? I see the black and brown at the local craft stores, but would love the colors like you have.
That looks so cute on the wall. The girls will love it.
You are just a great mom. I am sure they are going to love it when they get home. hugs
Wow, I love it!!
thanks for the video. I would love to have this cartridge as I am trying to work more with vinyl. I am sure your girls loved this in their room.
