Episode 216 - Wall Decor and More Vinyl Project

Hello Everyone!

Sorry this is so late.  I had planned on uploading a video for this project earlier in the day but time just slipped away from me.  My oldest 3 children had their piano recital and they did excellent, if I do say so myself!  I love watching my children grow in their talents.

I made this video to go along with Cricut Wall Decor and More.  I hope you enjoy it!

Wednesday is going to be a BIG day over here at My Pink Stamper.  I am announcing all of the winners for the Hello Thursday giveaways!  That will be sometime in the morning to early afternoon.  I also have a special spotlight feature I have scheduled.

This Friday I am giving away a Cricut Expression courtesty of Provo Craft.  We are also doing a challenge with the Design Team.  You are not going to want to miss this one!!!

See you in the morning!

Robyn...beautiful job...I love the transfer tape...but what I do...it leave the image on the vinyl, you remove the negative (non cut) then layer the transfer tape on top of that & then apply to the wall...Thanks for all you do<3

another thing...when I do layering with vinyl...I tape the 2nd layer on a window & then top it with the 1st layer...makes it easier....

Cute! This cartridge is great. I cut vinyl for the first time last Saturday and decorated my Pink Expression and a few water bottles for my friends. It's fun and I definitely recommend the transfer tape. We used Cricut vinyl & the 3,3,3, kiss cut worked awesome. We used some Stampin Up Vinyl and it cut like butter too and comes with the sheet of transfer tape (I like that). We also used some less expensive vinyl from Hobby Lobby and found we need to set our Cricut at 3, 2, 3 for the best cut. Fun for a lot of projects. I know your kids are going to love the sign in their room. donnafaglieatgmaildotcom

Very cute project! I was hesitiant to try vinyl but a few weeks ago I took the plunge and now I'm addicted! It was SO easy to use. I definitely recommend the transfer tape and I do a "kiss cut" on my mat (pressure and speed both at 3) then remove excess vinyl, add my transfer tape on top of the image and then remove from mat. So easy! Thanks for sharing your project and ideas! Jude

That is a really cute idea and I'm really like that new cart! I've done a ton with they vinyl - even brought my cricut to my son's school and cut a bunch of vinyl images for teachers to hang up in their classrooms. Very cool!!

I have been wanting to play with vinyl for a while, but I must say, I have been a little intimidated by the thought of it. I guess the best part about it is that you can remove it whenever you want. Maybe I will start with my craft room. Now that I am home from school for the summer, I have a little time for trial and error. I think I have found another summer project!
Enjoy your day!

Wish I had a Cricut when I was growing up. I must have made a dozen "No boys allowed" signs.

Thanks for sharing about the transfer tape. I've never used it before but I may pick some up now.

Love that flower! What a surprise that will be when the girls come home. Gives them a sense of entitlement to their own space. You'll have to do one for boys too now.

You make the vinyl look so easy. I want to try it, but haven't gotten the guts yet. Maybe I should start with something small.

Any suggestions on where to get the vinyl? I see the black and brown at the local craft stores, but would love the colors like you have.
