NSD Challenge #4 - "I Like You the Least"

Doesn't that sound like a fun challenge?  It was given by one of My Pink Designer's Pam

Here is her take on it.....

CHALLENGE:  Make a project using your least favorite or least used cartridge.

I wanted to do this project because I bought a cartridge that everyone I talked to said you just 'Had to Have'.  So I bought it and looked in the booklet and felt a little deflated.  It is a great cartridge if used for scrapbooking in my opinion but harder for card makers like me.  So I wanted to force myself to use this cartridge on a card project.  The cartridge used: Graphically Speaking.

I made a 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 card and rounded the corners.  I used the circle cut on page 56 cut at 5".  I then used the icon butterfly cut on page 57 at 3".  I also used the blackout butterfly cut at 3".  Then I cut the blackout cut again in black at 3 1/2" to create a shadow because there is no shadow feature.

The stamp is from the My Pink Stamper Everyday Occasions stamp set.  The base paper and ribbon is from Stampin Up! and the designer paper used on the circle and butterfly is from Doodlebug.

Thanks for joining in on the challenge.  Good Luck!

Pam

  8. If you don't have a Cricut use something that you don't normally do or really don't care for. If you don't care for buttons or a certain color try them out. Sorry, I should have mentioned that.

    Thanks everyone for participating!

Challenge 4 card. This one was for sure a challenge as I never use the DonJuan Cart. I made the actual card here that has the round window in it using the DonJuan cart. Glued the monkey on the inside and the vines on the outside.

  12. I sure hope this works....I was trying to upload a link with photobucket, but I'm evidently not that smart. But I did see some links from photobucket in the comment forms. I hope you pick them up. :) I used Stretch Your Imagination.

    Thanks!
