My Pink Designer's Family Projects
It is time to hear from My Pink Design Team. This month the theme was "Family" and they really made this project their own. We have such a variety of styles on our team and I am so grateful for them! We hope you enjoy the projects!!
This frame was so much fun. I used my Robotz cartridge for the first time and I loved it......I used the robot from page 51..... layers2 from page 57.....font from Robotz and Jubilee. I also used Indie Art image #40. Where is the nose from??? You gotta guess that one, lol. The background paper source is unknown and the rest is textured cardstock from American Crafts, I also used stickles for some bling. We have to have bling, right?
The swirls you see in the abdominal area of the robots are from My Pink Stamper clear stamps set Simply Sweet Occasions. Aren't they cute?
About the sizes...You can make them any size you want...this is the beauty of it. My robots were cut at 5 and 3-1/4 inches high and the frame is a 10 x 7. The chain to hang is from the jewelry department of one of the crafts stores around.
It was my pleasure working on this project. I hope you enjoy it.
Hugs from flowerdisco!!!
I decided to make a male card for my project. I know a lot of us, especially me, have a hard time w/ male cards. We can't help but add ribbon, flowers and bling! :D This is a birthday card for my Uncle. He loves to read so I wanted to incorporate that by making some antique looking books. The book cuts are cut at 3" and it is from the Paper Dolls for Everyday cartridge. It is located on p. 46, accessory 3 (shift) w/ the graduate cut. I cut the book out 8 different times. 1 cut for each book color and 4 times in the tan color for the pages at the top of the book. If you have the Gypsy or DS you can move the 4 books to the edge of your digital mat so it only cuts out the pages portion of the design so you waste less paper. I also chalked the pages in dark brown so the dark brown chalk could get in the creases of the cut to make it look more antique. I also inked the edges of the creme paper to help with the antique look.
The base Dark Chocolate paper and ribbon is from PTI. The creme paper is basic Roberts cardstock. The paper for the burgundy, blue and brown books are from the Paper Studio paper kit called Traditions. The green paper used on the green book is from the We R Memory Keepers Coppered Out paper kit.
And last but Definitely not least, the stamp is from the My Pink Stampers Family & Friends stamp set. Love them!
Thanks for looking!
Hi Everyone! We are just around the corner to Father's Day so in celebration for the big day I was inspired by an old wallet that my son had. I found some great faux leather paper and used the wallet as my templete. Top it off with with some hardware and a stamp from My Pink Stamper's Family and Friends new line of stamps and you have a clever way of giving your dad a gift card that he will be sure to remember!
