Marathon Training Starts!

Hi Friends!!

I just wanted to share the video from my first marathon that I ran last September.  A lot of you were along with me for that journey.  I am just about to begin training for my 2nd marathon this coming September so I thought I would post my marathon video to help motivate me and you.

Hope you are having a great Saturday!!  Remember that if you can "SEE IT" you can "BE IT".  Don't ever think your dreams and goals are out of reach.  There is always blue sky behind the clouds!

  1. OMGosh! I'm first to comment? I know this was from last year, but WAY TO GO! Did you carry the camera the whole race???? I laughed at the hill at the end...how cruel to make you guys do that on rubber legs! My goal is to run around the school track once without collapsing....I am in awe of you!

  2. Yay Robyn!! You are AWESOME!! I was so happy for you last year when you completed this marathon. Isn't that canyon beautiful?? I live only about 15 minutes away from it and I wish I could have been there to cheer you on, but it was my baby girls first birthday that day and I didn't get a chance to make it. Where is your next marathon??

    Hugs,
    Amy ♥

  5. Thanks for sharing the video. I seriously was in tears. I have such a love for running and the dedication it takes along with the will and drive. Since my Parkinson's diagnoses it is a trying feat for me to go out and run, but I do because it is my one gift from God that keeps me in the fight. I admire you for all of your hard work and your can do attitude. I read your pink loser blog and know you had many obsticles along the way as well, but you kept in the fight, and ended victorious! Thanks for sharing your journey:o)

  10. So I don't know if I ever told you this, but I followed your marathon training last year and was so excited when you finished!! You were truly an inspiration to me and I started running last year. I ran my first 5k on Thanksgiving and the next one on New year's Eve. I had planned to run a half and a full this year but ran out of money for my half that was supposed to be tomorrow. But, I am running something called the Wild West Relay in August and my leg will be about 14 miles, and I still plan to run the full in October at Rock n' Roll in Denver. Just wanted to say thanks for all you do and for inspiring us every day. Much love!

  13. Awesome! It reminds when my scrapping daughter ran the Marine Marathon in DC 8 years ago. We her family followed her progress in the race by walking all over to see her at different points.

  16. Robyn, Your video actually made me cry. I was very inspired. These things we accomplish in life where we never thought we could are so awe-filled. I recently have accomplished losing almost 60 lbs and sometimes just have to pinch myself that I was able to do that. Even though I have some more to go...I am very proud of this part. I think it was my knowledge of that added to your own accomplishment that turned me into a bawling baby over here!

  23. This came at a perfect time for me. I had my 2nd son 3 weeks ago today and I am overwhelmed at the amount of weight I gained and where it all went to after he was born! I ran 1.5 miles today, my first day back to exercising. It is nowhere near a marathon, but after watching this, I feel like there is hope in losing it. Thank you for inspiring me!!

Komen in Nashville. Maybe I can work my up to a half marathon. I don't know that a full one will be in the works though. You go!

  40. thanks for sharing. I could never do it. I would die for sure. I love the Utah mountains. I live in Montana but I did live in Utah while going to school. Go BYU! I shouldn't say that very loud since I now work for The University of Montana Western. So just to be fair...Go Bulldogs! Sorry to hear about your great aunt. We in Montana take care of our own too. I am sure many people here will miss her and help your grandma out.
