Father's Day Challenge and Cricut Expression Giveaway!!

**This challenge is now officially over but feel free to participate on your own.

Happy Friday Everyone!!

It is the last day of school around here and busy crazy but I wanted to issue you this awesome challenge!!

#1 - It has to be an ORIGINAL project that you have created yourself FOR this challenge.  This is really big.  It is flattering that others like something we have made but it is not okay to ever make something and claim it as your own.  :)  I haven't seen that too much over here but I have heard that it happens.

#2 - This will be a RANDOM drawing and not judged or chosen.  I personally could never pick between all of your wonderful talent.  I will use Random.org like I usually do.

#3 - You will need to upload your picture to your blog, message board (that is not private) or Photobucket to be able to share it on the inlinkz button.

#4 - I will announce the winner on Tuesday afternoon.  That gives those of you who are going out of town this weekend a little bit more time to enter.

#5 - Only one project, per person please.

LET'S GET THIS PARTY STARTED!!!!

Here is what My Pink Designers, along with Karlee and Tammy came up with!

Pamela

Cricut Cartidge: From My Kitchen; Grill - p. 41, Steak - p. 73
Paper: PTI, SU!, and K&I Memories - Classic Prints paper pad
Twine from SU!
My Pink Stamper Everyday Occasions stamp set

Recipe:

Glass Jar
Robotz Cricut cartridge (robot, $ signs, and font)
Paper and strong adhesive tape (ATG)

My husband is a baseball fanatic and our family room is filled with baseball memorabilia and a few other sports. Our theme for the May Challenge is Father's day by our dear Emma and since you all know now my husband loves baseball my project for today is a Sports Gift Bag especially for him. The signed baseball he already has but I thought it was a cute accent :)
I used the Baseball solutions cartridge for everything except the DAD word which is from the All Mixed Up one. The images are cut at 5 inches, the All Star word and baseball are cut at 1.5 inches. The sentiment inside the baseball is one of My Pink Stamper clear stamps set called Simply Sweet Occasions and it reads: Celebrate Today...perfect for the occasion, lol.
Thanks for the opportunity to share with you my project.

Jo

Julie

In our family, nothing shows love more then spending time together doing what we love, game night. We play everything from hearts, dominos, poker, Michigan Rummy, and lots of others. I took Dad's love of games and made his his very own score pad along with a cute popcorn container. You can't play games without the snacks, right?! The popcorn container was made from Bags, Tags, Boxes and More and My Pink Stamper Simply Sweet Occasions Stamps and the score pad was made using the Wild Card Cartridge and the Plantin Schoolbook.

Karlee

Tammy

Good luck everyone!!!

Hoping that between all the outdoor chores that need to be done, I can do this challenge. I need to revamp the shadow boxes I have for my dad and FIL who both passed away in 2008. This challenge would be perfect to jump start that project.

I often take note of all the challenges I come across on line. But I think I might actually take part in this one! Almost as soon as I started reading, I had a layout idea pop into my head! So If I can get it together before the cut off day, I will. Thanks for the inspiration.

I could sure use that baby with all of my grandchildren that live here with me. I did not have a father to make a card for. My friends dad just passed yesterday. So I am making something for her to cheer her up. She is coming here for the funeral and staying at my home. I plan on taking her out and cheer her up some.

Thanks! I linked up! I used Life is a Beach to make a treasure chest and the word DAD. It is supposed to look like it has gold/copper coins coming out. It didn't turn out exactly as planned, but... he's not too picky! :-)

Lucy, my heart goe sout to you. My Dad passed away almost 20 years ago and there isn't a day that goes by that I don't miss him. (Or my Mom...she passed when I was 20 years old --- 27 years ago now. :( )Mother's Day and Father's Day are always hard because I have to read all the cards in WalMart's card aisle.

I guess I will have to make something for hubby .... maybe it'll help justify having ALL the cartridges I own. "But honey -- look at the nice cards I can make for you" 0:) lol

Wow Robyn,
This is a challenge, since last night after leaving crop night at Micheal's, I dropped my cricut and damaged it. I feel like I'm in mourning this morning. Yuck!
Hope to try and use recycle papercuts and tools to create a card. Maybe I could win a new friend, a ( cricut).

I added my link to photobucket. I made my card using a coffee cup image on Gypsy Wanderings. I flipped and welded the shadow to make the card then just added the top layer. I used the 'love you a latte'from "Just Because Cards." My dad likes simple things and he drinks coffee morning noon and night. Then I used "Glaze Pens" by Sakura to jazz up the words just a touch.

I'd love to win the machine. A small group of us are starting a craft club at work and a 'donated' cricut would be a great addition to that. Thanks for the chance to win.
