Once Upon a Princess Cartridge!!

Once upon a time, in a land far, far away, there lived a little girl who LOVED to make crafts.

One day, she was given the most incredible gift for her 16th birthday.  It was a shiny PINK Cricut Expression.  Wow!  The things she could do with this machine.

She told all of her friends about it and soon the entire kingdom was abuzz with this FABULOUS paper cutting device.

She could make invitations for all of the Palace Balls and even send cards to all the Princes in the land, although she preferred to make cards for the other Princesses.

One day, when she was taking a walk in the Palace Gardens, an evil villain took her Expression she called "Pinkie".  When she returned she was heartbroken to find it missing.  "What can I do?"  She asked her mother the Queen.  "I am lost without it."

The next day she was riding a stallion from the Palace Stables.  She noticed, about a mile from the castle, that there were pieces of cardstock all over the ground.  She followed them until they ended at the base of a tree.  She got off of her horse, and walked up to the trunk.  She pushed on it ever so lightly and it opened up.  The view she saw was BREATH-TAKING.  There sitting in a special room carved out of the tree, were all of her princess friends CRICUTING away!!

After she caught her breath she was able to simply ask them, "What are you girls doing?"

They all gasped at one time and then said in unison, "SURPRISE"!!!!  They were making her some new dresses out of paper for the upcoming ball.  She couldn't have been more shocked.  What good friends she had, even if they did steal her most prized possession.

In the end all was wonderful and she lived.........

HAPPILY EVER AFTER

***********************

The Princess and Provo Craft, would like to give away Once Upon a Princess to one lucky person in the Cricut community.  All you need to do, is leave a comment on this post and share something you can do with your cartridges.  Of course, you cannot make clothes like our princess, but there are a lot of fabulous things you can make.  Good luck everyone!!!

Cute story. I like making all kinds of things with my cricut. I can't wait to get this cartridge. Recently I made a 3D working Wheelbarrow with WIMG. I filled it full of chocolate and wheeled it away to a friend. I love my cricut.

OOOppp.forgot to leave a way to contact me for my post..."...I love crafting and have now had my Expression for just over a year. I used black vinyl to make a "sanitation station" sign for the cinderblock wall (the vinyl has stuck perfectly all year) in my preschool classroom and a pair of black vinyls "hands" as a visual aid for the lil ones. The other teachers loved it."

One of my daughters and her children do scrapbooking and I am always looking for things to surprise them with when I make cards for them that they can put into their scrapbooking work! Some day when I am gone they will tell their children about the work in their books and who did it! ME! Jeananne jrtherunks42@yahoo.com

Would love to have this for my "little princess" who's now a tween & doesn't want to admit she's still a princess. :-) Recently I've been making cards - lots and lots of cards. I don't know how our family ended up with so many March/April birthdays & anniversaries.

OMGosh what an adorable story! When's the book coming out!? It would make a wonderful children's book! Just think of all the neat pages you could do with your cricut! All ilustrated with your cricut. You really should think about that as your next adventure, I think it would be a "Bestseller"! And you could continue and have a series! TFS

My little brother (not so young anymore) had a very special stuffed animal as a child and my mom made him a shadowbox with pictures of him and "Oscar" and mementos. She needed words and picture frames for the shadowbox and we used my cricut cartridges to decorate the shadowbox. I also use it for cards.
