Episode 179 - Give a Hoot Cricut Cartridge!!!

Hello Everyone!!!

I am sooooo excited to have been able to help with Provo Craft's Hello Tuesday!!! There are some GREAT cartridges coming out this year and I am having a blast playing with them!!

This first project was done using Cricut Give a Hoot Cartridge. Here are a few samples that I made using it. There is a video at the end of this post with more ideas and a project. :)

Isn't that raccoon the cutest thing ever???

This cartridge is JAM-PACKED with so much stuff!! There are cute images, accents, borders, and phrases! Enough to keep you busy for a while.

The layers were simple to put together without any problems. :)

For this next project I wanted to try out the cute little squirrel with his yummy food!

I like how easy it was to use my Fit to Length button on my Cricut Expression to make my border exactly the length I needed for this card.

I LOVE bees!!! For this card I used vellum for the wings and just creased them a little and folded them upwards. I like how the effect turned out.

The ribbon was a blast!! I used wired floral ribbon from Hobby Lobby and used the technique I learned from Natalie at Custom Crops. I didn't need to sew it after because of the wire. To attach it I used ScorPal tape. 


 The stamp on following card is from My Pink Stamper line of stamps which you can view over at www.customcrops.com. I used a white ink pad to stamp it so it would show up on the black.
