such a cute card, i think i'll make some... hey you should just try an alcohol wipe for your scissors, i actually keep some in my craft room just for cleaning my blades when they get gross, i know it wont help with the sharpening part but it gets the gunk off FAST!

Cute card! Love your paper choices!!! Good thing ATG tape is relatively inexpensive, huh??? He sees mommy have so much fun with it that he had to give it a try!!! Hi to Karlee, too!!!

Hugs!

Love the card and thank you for showing the watercolor crayons. i think I need to get some of them. I know about leaving little ones with your stuff, when my daughter was little, I was knitting while she watched a movie, I got up to go to the bathroom and when I got back she thought she would try to help and pulled out the needles. I had to start all over again.

Thank you for sharing that!! I am doing my first Stampin' Up! workshop on Saturday and I REALLY NEEDED that!!! (Seeing as though I can't use the cricut!!) Thank you - you gave me lots of ideas!!

Robyn, it seems like you always stamp your cards at the end. What happens if you do all that work and then mess up the stamp, or do you ever mess up? (Probably not!)

This is a cute card. I liked it.

Aww...your son knew you had a lot of ATG tape! Cute - fun card!

Post #2- I loved this card! I think it is really cute.

I have made my own quick card- I think I will give this one to my 8 year old Daughter as it is a bit juvenile. I still had fun making it.

As my 2 year old daughter would say, "I love it the card!" It was already cute, but when you added the ribbon to the pink and green paper, it became gorgeous!

Sorry to be off topic but where can I find best resource on car insjurry attorney?

Shirley said...

Robyn,
Paper colors are beautiful together. Cute simple card.

You are right it is great colors and a great card. You need to set aside a pair of scissors just for cutting ribbon. When you cut paper with scissors it dulls them quickly. Sewers always have scissors just for fabric because of this reason. You probably already know this, but incase someone doesn't. Thanks so much for all your sharing it is appreciated. ~Julie

Cute card! At least it was only the tape and not the whole atg he broke. The tape is cheap. Speaking of which....which kind of refill do you use? The acid free or regular refills?

Beautiful card thanks for the color inspiration. I have had adhesives with the same problem and I couldn't fix them so I just cut off a piece, rubbed it on my paper, pulled off the backing and it worked. I was able to salvage quite a bit of adhesive this way.

Thank you for doing a card without the Cricut. I don't have one and it's kind of a drag to see such cute things and not be able to do them.

PS If I don't have goo gone on hand I use alcohol :)
Try cutting tin foil too to sharpen your scissors.

2 year olds! My 2 1/2 year old niece snuck into my craft room too. I didn't realize it until I got back home after dropping her off. She painted a cute scribble with permanent ink marker on my table, my mouse, keyboard, and a note board that I keep with words of encouragement on it. I couldn't stop laughing, because she was smart enough to close the door after she was in there.

Cute, easy card. Thanks for sharing.

Robyn, this tree card is really nice. Great job. I must have missed the part of what you used on the inside, but when you have a dark card, do you put something bright inside to write on or do you use a light colored pen? Hope you can put some update or answer this question on your blog. Thanks. SKirkham@triad.rr.com
