Look at this I am the first one to comment. Guess it helps being 12 hours away from the states.

Loved this page, great idea!
Once I'm done making Batman birthday decor with my Cricut I will play around with Designer's Calendar.

Thanks Robin

Thanks Robyn....I can always count on you to share new ways to use cartridges. I'll have to look at this one a bit closer.
Another great video.

Very nice page. Love watching your videos. You should do a video painting your ATG GUN Pink with spray paints made for plastic. Then it wont be so ugly to you.LOL Also, this website www.albumsandanswers.com has them professionally painted in Hot pink, purple or either size to buy.

I love the circles! Makes a great background. Quick Question, do you do anything to stop the ends of your ribbon from unraveling? I don't know what to use.

dotygirl said...

Great page and colors I like the way you used the circle group as the background. very nice. Thanks for showing.

How cute, I have this cart & have been wanting to do something with it. Thanks for doing a video, you've been really busy with these this last week!

Hey Robyn, I haven't been scrapbooking much either. I do BD cards for both sides of my family (about 60) as well as anything else that comes up. I really want to get back to scrapbooking my family's yearly vacation trips. We have always enjoyed those. Family time is the best time!

Awesome page. I was just watching your videos with my 12 yo sister and she was asking why you don't put/show your kids and I told her the same thing you did. Weirdos! lol. I thought it was funny.

Hi Robyn, I love the Designers Calendar Cart, super cute layout!!
I use Goo Gone to get rid of sticky stuff on my tools. You wont have to buy new scissors. It will really take the stick right off. http://www.magicamerican.com/googone/catalog/GooGoneCleaners.aspx
If you look locally you can probably find it. I don't work for them, I just like the product. :)

Your page is lovely....thanks for all the inspiration!!!

I really love this page. so simple but so nice.
Oh to clean your scissors you the goo gone. You can find it at walmart, Mine get all gummed up too from the kids grabbing them and using them and I use a little of that goo gone and it works awesome I use it for alot oaf stuff. A little bit goes such a long way too. I have had my bottle for prob 3 years now. I use it on the price sticker that they put on glass and plastic things too.
glad you have heat back and hope the kids go back to school for you soon for your own sanity. LOL

Hi Robin
This is a great page! I love the colors and the fact that you took this cartridge and used it in a totally different way was brilliant! Thanks for another video!! Stay warm :)

I have used two products to prevent ribbons from unravelling. I got each of them at a fabric store years ago, so not sure if the brands are still around.
One is called "Fray stop" and the other an Aleene's glue called "Ok to wash it". Both worked great!

Hi Robyn,
GOO GONE is great! I use it on my scissors, cutting mats & even my Cricut to clean off the "sticky goo". A little goes a long way & be aware it has a relly strong smell. I just put a dab on a rag or paper towel and wipe until clean.
Loved the circle bkgd for the layout...SUPER CUTE!
Happy Heat!

Great LO, Robyn and thanks for the reminder about your Cricut how-to series. I revisited a few of those and they're very helpful. Thanks! You might try Goo Gone on your scissors and you can usually have your scissors sharpened for a few bucks at the same place where you take your kitchen knives.

Hey Robyn - super cute page as always :)

Just wanted to pass on a tip - i always gum up my scissors, if you wip ethem with running alcohol (I find the OMS works perfectly - you might already have some if you tried the pencil technique!) It gets it right off anyway :)

TheKatsWhiskers said...

Rubbing alcohol, not running, lol! Though for you, running might be more appropriate :D

Janis said...

Great page! Love your videos!!

Megan said...

Loved the page. You make it look so easy. To save your scissors, buy 'Goo Gone.' Place the 'Goo Gone' on a cotton ball and scrub over your scissors. Rinse off and dry. If they are still a bit sticky, do the same with rubbing alcohol. Hope that helps!!

Yay! This is a cart I have! Love this page, I've got 4 kids and still haven't scrapped the two older ones' first day pictures. Like this idea and the fact that this cart can be useful for more than just calendars! Thanks for the video.

What a cute layout Robyn! Because of you, I just ordered a ATG today! Yeah! I'm so excited. Without your praise of it, and not so much of the others, I finally bit the bullet! Can't wait till it gets here!

Love the scrapbook page! I'm so happy to see that you keep your pages simple - I always feel like I don't "do enough" when I look at what others post.

Cute page! Love it Robyn. You're so funny, yes lots of weirdos out there! he he :)

JANLYNN said...

I had not even thought about the possibility of using the Designer Calender cart for a scrapbook page. I will have to give this cart another look. Thanks for the idea. Very simple and neat.

Debbie Pugliese said...

Hi, Robyn!
Okay, you seriously HAVE to stop doing this to me! Yes, once again, you've managed to make me want another cartridge!! Every time I think I'm going to be able to resist, I watch one of your videos, and there I go, wanting another cart! And to think they are saying there will 100 new releases this year! Oh, my! I loved your video, though, and keep those outtakes coming--they're some of my favorite parts! Of course, I always like your projects, too.
Our heat was out for a while, too, and while we live in Florida, it did get down into the 30's a few weeks ago, and we were freezing! I wore layers to bed and still froze! You definitely appreciate it when that heat is finally working again!

I loved this page and all your videos. I also like the way you protect your kids' identity online by covering their photos and not letting them show their faces. Very smart. I loved the fact that in some of your videos you mention doing projects for church. I made goodie backs for my Sunday school class (I teach) and can't wait to give them out! I may post a picture, if I can figure out how!

Lynn said...

Thanks for the video. Didn't think that I would need this cart but you have changed my mind.

Sarah said...

Thanks for hilighting the cartridge--I got it for Christmas and really am excited about using it.

Lisa said...

Love the page Robyn, I have that cart and have not used it yet. I am going to try my hand at it though. Yes, there are a lot of weirdo's out there unfortunately, our children are so innocent and don't always understand. Thanks for everything ;)

Robyn - loved your page!! I will definately be stealing this idea. I also want to tell how much i respect you for protecting your children!!

Very cute layout and more outside the box thinking on this cart. You always help me get out of the thought ruts.
Your poor son just wanted to play and be 'on TV' like his mom :) (I do agree though probably best not to show them)- so sad for him

Kristie said...

I've never seen that cartridge before. Very cool. that page will be adorable with your daughters picture and the journaling.

raising4boys said...

Very cute! I love scrapbook pages too. I also get wrapped up in cards but want to stay caught up on my albums.

One suggestion I think would be fun, to cut out the numbers and put on the calendar the date of her first day of school :)

Maria said...

What a cute page:)

So cute I love the page. I feel so sad that something is going on that we all have to be so careful on the web. Why do people have to be weird? Good for you protecting your family. I just hope you don't stop doing the wonderful job you do. Your videos are really fantastic.

Kim. said...

Great layout Robyn, thanks for the reminder on your tutorial videos I am going to go through those as I received a brand new expression yesterday with more buttons than I am used to those will be a great help.

Oh goody, another cartridge I 'need'! Very cute page Robyn, I've been making cards alot too, and have been thinking about getting back to my scrapping. Isn't it a shame that there are so many weirdo's in the world, that we have to keep our kids from being seen! You're a good mom!

Anonymous said...

Robyn, great idea.

You could use blank pieces of paper or cutouts from magazines, if you want to show ideas as to where to put pictures and then you wouldn't have to worry about using your family's pics.

Just noticed on my previous post that I misspelled 'bags' as 'backs'. Forgive the mistake, people, I just get letters mixed up sometimes.
