Quick Challenge - Paper Scraps!!

Karlee and I have had a very relaxing Sunday. We spent the morning in church, the afternoon playing games with the kids, and now we are in my room scrapbooking and making cards. We thought it would be fun to do a quick challenge. Please play along if you can.

Here is the challenge.........

Make a "quick" project using some of your patterned paper scraps!! I have an entire drawer full that need to be used. Karlee and I will post ours when we are finished but we also wanted to post the challenge here for you, too.

Your challenge also needs to be anything but wintery!! I am sooo over the cold! Okay, here we go..........

Here is the card I made....

Here is Karlee's project.....

I will have to try this one tomorrow. I did more cards today for the challenge you posted and set up two scrapbook pages. I can visualize what I will do with the challenge. It is a shame I have to work :D

Have a wonderful night!

I made a card! Thanks for the challenge. Sometimes that's all it takes to get in my craft room and whip something up. I'm in the middle of redoing everything in my craft room. It makes what Karlee did to your room look super clean! It's all torn up and I had a hard time finding a place to sit!! :)

Hope you like it. Please follow my blog as well if you'd like.

Cool challenge! I made twelve cards using my scraps. My friend's mom is in her last weeks of life and she's going to spend time with her, so I made her twelve cards so she can work on them with her mommy. Each card has a different value that she can write about for, or with her mom. It's to help her remember what her mom has taught her. I got the idea from a movie I saw called "The Ultimate Gift." I had such a hard time remembering all of the good things about my mom after she passed, so I thought if Kim could document these things before her mom is gone it will help her thank her and remember her. I took pictures, but I don't have a blog, so no pictures (just lots of words) from me.
