sooooo cute!! You crack me up as always!! Thanks for showing how to make these. I think you need to do the party favors too!!:)

So cute. Can't wait to make one. For coloring the icing to actual colors use wilton's (or a cake store's) icing gel. Food coloring does not do the actual color...like red will be pink.

jd said...

Cute. I love that you used pink frosting.
You are closing in on a million hits on your site. WOW!

I'm glad to have the measurement for the cupcake holder! Sometimes I wonder why Provo Craft doesn't include info like that in the booklet!!!

Oh it's me again..just thought of something..I have been wanting to make my super simple chocolate chip cheesecake..I wonder if I could do it in cupcake holders..hmmmmmm

3 packages 8oz cream cheese (I have done this with neufatchel(sp?) and low fat cream cheese, the neufatchel works best) softened
3 eggs beaten
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 tsp vanilla

Beat till smooth and creamy
add 1-2 tablespoons of flour to about 3/4 bag of mini chocolate semi-sweet chips to coat, add to cream cheese mixture, pour into a cheesecake pan which you have added chocolate or graham cracker cookie crust (I just eye ball it, and add about 2-3 tablespoons of butter, enough to allow easy pressing into pan.) The original recipe calls for crushed oreo cookies, but I think that is a bit overkill for my taste.

Sprinkle remaining mini chocolate chips over top, bake at 300 for about an hour. Refrigerate after cake has cooled..and be prepared, this cake is super duper rich!!!! But ohhh so good.

So if anyone has any ideas how long to bake these in a medium cupcake pan please email me!!!! Thanks!

LisaRN499@aol.com :)

Great holder! I must get this cart! Here's a cupcake tip. After I ice my cupcakes, I freeze them and then when I need to transport them, (Or put them in a cupcake holder)the icing is frozen and doesn't smear every where.

Cute! Love that you matched the frosting to the paper! I have Sweet Treats but wasn't sure I really wanted to keep it since the cupcake holders are all the same shape. However, I was just thinking, why not weld shapes from other carts to it to create other designs. A scallop edge would be very pretty. Or, use a border punch on the edges. Hmmm, I'll have to try this.
