Here is a two part video I filmed while visiting Custom Crops. It is just a simple slider card using hot cocoa, paper, and the Cricut. I hope you enjoy!!
GREAT video!! My lil man and I were watching it and he said.. "My Pink".. He is 2 and a very limited vocabulary. We love love your videos.. Thanks Robyn!!!
I'm so excited just got notified that custom crops has shipped my DVD!! I can't wait, after watching these videos I know I'm going to learn alot. Thank you Robyn for all you do, truly appreciated!!
Watched this video already on Custom Crops - This is something I will make for my Granddaughters - we have chilly nights here in Colorado - Thanks for a great idea!
Love the slider card - I've had the baby bug for along time and I'm finally getting the E. I've always ignored your instructions that didn't apply so I was happy to see the explanation of all the functions. Thanks Robyn
love the tips you provide! Cute project....I bought my hot cocoa yesterday to make a bunch of these!!! thanks for all your videos, I learn so much!!! Chris
This is a great idea...that paper is terrific! Thanks for showing the different functions of the E...I hope Santa brings me one...my baby needs an upgrade!!
I saw this the other day on the Custom Crops site. I remember seeing you do one of these before, but hadn't thought about it. I may just make some for stocking stuffers. since there are 32 of us when my family is together for Christmas, I need something that is fairly inexpensive and this fits the bill.
Robyn...I love the video... the paper is soooo pretty.. I'm gonna have to get me that paper... Great gift idea as well! TFS! kingcobras_69@frontiernet.net
Thanks for another great video. I always watch your videos. You really make me want my expression to hurry up and get here. I ordered one on Pink Tuesday. I'm not sure if I get to play with it before Christmas or not. I made sliders last year and had Hershey candy bars inside. It was funny to watch people try to figure out how they worked. I took some to work and my hubby took some to the ladies at the coffee shop. He goes there everyday before he starts his work.
You guys just read my mind!! I was wanting to make a bunch of these for people that I work with and so this video could not have come at a better time!!
Just for your info when you are doing things with the function keys and you pressed cut to see the size or how many----- you can press the OK button and it will show you and you don't have to stop it before it cuts. The fit to length is my favorite feature.
ROBYN! OMG! I was looking for instructions on how to make a slider card.. and what do you know.. of course.. I can find it on your blog. You're awesome.
Robyn, I just found your blog and I have to say I love it. I told my Aunt about it too and we are so excited to see the DVD. I loved your slider for cocoa. My Aunt gave me one last year with a gift card. Smaller size than yours of course. Can't wait to see what's next. Take care.
Another great video Robyn and I love the extra pointers. I too want to give this slider concept a try with gift cards. My niece has 12 children and I can always use inexpensive project to give them at holidays, birthdays, etc. You sure help filling my inspiration void.
Finally was able to finish watching...tried to all day! Thanks for the extra tips. I really didn't know how to use most of the buttons! Easy project to send to a friend that just moved:)
I am so excited for this project! I saw your apple cider slider video a while back and I made a Christmas cocoa pack -- then I decided to try to make 20 of them as place settings for Christmas dinner! Thanks for sharing!
Super cute!! I love the papers you used. And guess what? I have Plantin and had no idea it had the scallop on it! Yay! I'm so excited. I guess that's what I get for not using it in a while. It's good to break the oldies out every once in a while and look through the book. I can't believe it. It was like Christmas - but free!!! lol
Great Job on the video. I Think I need to make a few of these! Had to laugh at your crop a dial antics! You need to play with it and get use to it! I love mine! It is never very far from me when Im crafting! Tracy Thomas Tvthomas717@aol.com
Thanks for reminding me about this slider. You always make it look so easy! Also, if you place your paper in the corner of the Scor-Pal, it helps keep it even for your score lines.
Great idea! That might be my parent gift this year but I will add a picture of the child. Thanks Robyn! Robyn I need more Gypsy help. Please!!!! Thanks, Linda ljcardering@yahoo.com
Love this slider card! I plan on using this for a few gifts for my DD's teachers..OK..she is a senior, but so what, I think they will appreciate it! Besides, I owe these educators as they allowed her to attend this school which is out of our zone. She basically went from 2 core classes to all she needs to graduate at CCHS. GO RAZORBACKS!!! LOL
Robyn, this couldn't have come at a better time. I have to make little gifts for all the kids in my sons class. Thanks for the nudge! They will all love some hot cocoa! Thank you. As always, nice job! Oh, and I too need to get one of those score pal things! Looks simple and quick and I'm all about "simple and quick"! lol.
I saw the spiced cider video and made it with hot cocoa instead. I took it too my Lss and my card group made them for a poject. Love it. I like how you explained about the different buttons. It was very helpful.
Just made some of these using hot chocolate with pretty chocolate brown patterned glitter paper and the teacup to embellish it from Joys of the Season. They were a real hit.

Awesome as usual lol!!! I have a tip (u prob already do) But you know how the pages are sometimes hard to turn in the lil' books that come with the cartridges. I tear out all the pages with the languages that I dont use. Then my pages turn a lot easier.
Love this!!! What a great little treat for a friend for St. Nick's. I also learned about the fit to length...I never knew how that worked. Thanks for all of the great ideas and info. You look great in this video too. Congratulations of your weight loss.
