My Pink Stamper's Favorite!!

Okay, most of you know that I love Little House on the Prairie. In fact, I love it so much, that I am going tonight to see the live performance with Melissa Gilbert (Laura) playing Ma. How much fun is that going to be!!

I thought it would be fun to give away the first season of Little House to one of my viewers. This was an extra I received for a birthday a few years ago. Just leave me a comment sharing what your favorite show is from the past or present and a way for me to get a hold of you when you win.

Hope you all have a fabulous day!!! I will draw for the winner of this on Monday.

  1. Wow there are so many....The one that I just saw the other day was really good. Mrs. Olson got herself in to a contract for another resturant and her husband Nels and Charles were helping her to get out of it. Of course they did in the end.

  3. Enjoy!!!! My mom told me that the play and that it would be showing near our hometown. She was disappointed that we wouldn't be back in town for a visit to go and see it. I just bought the boxed set of books for my DD for Christmas! She will be so excited!

  4. I too love Little House, My sister and I would read the books every fall starting around harvest time. I know we are such nerds. I also loved the Waltons (which might give you a hint that I am older than you). My shows now are The Office, 24, The biggest Loser, and Gary Unmarried.

  9. I love Little House on the Prairie too. I even read the whole series to my boys many years ago as their bedtime story for months. They enjoyed it too. My favorite show from the past was The Waltons--another classic of days gone by.

  10. I can't really pick a favorite...I cried at all of them when I was a kid and I still cry at them while watching it with my kids....even though I have watched all of the episodes many, many times. It really is a great show and one of the very few that you can still watch with your children...Thanks!!

  14. every episode had such a heart tugging lesson. I love the relationship between pa and half pint. Course I have loved Michael ever since Bonanza. I too am a huge fan of the Waltons. tv seem so less complex back then. Just all about simple things in life. What feelings they left you with. Anyway what a great gift you are giving. 18. All of them! I cant choose!!! I guess one of my favorites is when Laura and Nellie were in the pond slinging some mud around. They were fighting over Almonzo. Almonzo finally convinced her to go home so she could get washed up. When Pa goes to Almonzo's house and gives him a good lickin'. I think that is when Pa finally discovered that Laura is a woman and that she is falling for Almonzo. Yes, I watch it all the time. I love all the characters...

Thanks for the opportunity! Your great!

Wow, I used to watch that all the time, the one I think that left the biggest impression on me was when Laura felt guilty for her little brothers death & she went to the mountain so that she could be closed to God and he could take her life and bring back her little brother for her Pa! I cry just thinking about it. I love a good cry from time to time. Anyway have a great time tonight, Enjoy!

  75. I'll have to say that the Little House books were my very favorites growing up. I read the covers off the copies that I had. I was SO EXCITED when the show was announced and figured that with 13 books that there would be plenty of material even if they strayed off a little bit. But after the first season or so it was SO INCREDIBLY different from my beloved books that I felt that the only thing they had in common were the names of the characters. So it was a big disappointment.

My favorite show of that era was the "Hardy Boys / Nancy Drew Mysteries". Got to LOVE Shaun Cassidy and Parker Stevenson.

  102. Okay, this may sound sad but I have never seen the Little House on the Prairie! So sad... I KNOW! ha ha. We lived over seas and I'm not sure why we never watched it. Push forward oh so many years and my younger son (then 8) read the book in class. He LOVED the book and wanted to read the next in the series. It would be SO fun to watch the tv series together with my family. Thanks for the opportunity to win. If we don't, I think I'll ask for the DVD's for Christmas. Thanks for the idea!

A few shows that I remember and liked were of course Little House on the Prairie; Happy Days; Partridge Family; Jeffersons; Brady Bunch; Waltons; I Love Lucy; Andy Griffith; MASH; Beverly Hillbillies; Laverne & Shirley; (too many to mention) and in the mornings...Captain Kangaroo!

That was our "Thing" to do together we watched GG on the weekends till we finished the entire 7 seasons. It was soo fun, she wants us to re-watch them again. Great memories for years to come :)

I would love to have the first season and wouldn't it be great since my birthday is tomorrow. Yep, my birhtday which I think no one in the world doesn't know at this point. My day, my birthday. Am I too over the top? Nope!

I also love Little House on the Prairie. I wish we had shows/stories like that on TV now. It had a lot of good life learning ways into it. My husband and I named one of our daughters Melissa Sue!
I do not watch many shows that are on TV now, I do not watch shows with violence. I watch old shows like Beverly Hillbillies, I Dream of Jeannie, Green Acres, and shows like those.
I would love to win the first season.

That to me was such a tearjerker when Nell shows up at their cabin to get the horse from Laura and she hands it over to him.....oh my gosh I am making myself cry.
