My Pink Stamper's Favorite!!

Okay, most of you know that I love Little House on the Prairie. In fact, I love it so much, that I am going tonight to see the live performance with Melissa Gilbert (Laura) playing Ma. How much fun is that going to be!!

I thought it would be fun to give away the first season of Little House to one of my viewers. This was an extra I received for a birthday a few years ago. Just leave me a comment sharing what your favorite show is from the past or present and a way for me to get a hold of you when you win.

Hope you all have a fabulous day!!! I will draw for the winner of this on Monday.

Wow there are so many....The one that I just saw the other day was really good. Mrs. Olson got herself in to a contract for another resturant and her husband Nels and Charles were helping her to get out of it. Of course they did in the end.

Enjoy!!!! My mom told me that the play and that it would be showing near our hometown. She was disappointed that we wouldn't be back in town for a visit to go and see it. I just bought the boxed set of books for my DD for Christmas! She will be so excited!

I too love Little House, My sister and I would read the books every fall starting around harvest time. I know we are such nerds. I also loved the Waltons (which might give you a hint that I am older than you). My shows now are The Office, 24, The biggest Loser, and Gary Unmarried.

All of them! I cant choose!!! I guess one of my favorites is when Laura and Nellie were in the pond slinging some mud around. They were fighting over Almonzo. Almonzo finally convinced her to go home so she could get washed up. When Pa goes to Almonzo's house and gives him a good lickin'. I think that is when Pa finally discovered that Laura is a woman and that she is falling for Almonzo. Yes, I watch it all the time. I love all the characters...

Thanks for the opportunity! Your great!

Wow, I used to watch that all the time, the one I think that left the biggest impression on me was when Laura felt guilty for her little brothers death & she went to the mountain so that she could be closed to God and he could take her life and bring back her little brother for her Pa! I cry just thinking about it. I love a good cry from time to time. Anyway have a great time tonight, Enjoy!

I'll have to say that the Little House books were my very favorites growing up. I read the covers off the copies that I had. I was SO EXCITED when the show was announced and figured that with 13 books that there would be plenty of material even if they strayed off a little bit. But after the first season or so it was SO INCREDIBLY different from my beloved books that I felt that the only thing they had in common were the names of the characters. So it was a big disappointment.

My favorite show of that era was the "Hardy Boys / Nancy Drew Mysteries". Got to LOVE Shaun Cassidy and Parker Stevenson.

Robyn,
I also love Little House on the Prairie. I wish we had shows/stories like that on TV now. It had a lot of good life learning ways into it. My husband and I named one of our daughters Melissa Sue!
I do not watch many shows that are on TV now, I do not watch shows with violence. I watch old shows like Beverly Hillbillies, I Dream of Jeannie, Green Acres, and shows like those.
I would love to win the first season.
Enjoy the live performance!

I too Loved the little House on the Prairie. Hence my Blog name Crafting on the Prairie and my Dachshund Kennel name Little Hounds on the Prairie. I adore all the re-runs now. I've passed the love onto my 13 daughter. I gave her my books that I had and She too Loves the series. I can't state a favorite but any episode when Nellie Olsen got her just was a good one. Oh she still annoys me! LOL

I love Little House! My mom and I used to watch it all of the time together when I was younger. I don't know which one is my favorite, they are all great. I think if I had to chose one it would be when Albert died. It is not a ha ha funny favorite but it was truly touching and I still cry when I watch that one.

Thanks for the chance to win.

Love these. One of my favorites was one of the very first ones where the Ingall's girls start school. Laura's speech at the end about Ma makes me cry everytime I see it. I use one of Laura's quotes fairly often, "Cash on the barrel, that's what Pa always says, cash on the barrel."

I hope you love it. This same event was in my area (Springfield, MO)last month and I wanted to go so bad... especially since Melissa Gilbert was in it. I never got the chance to though. I love all things Little House. I also live not to far away from the actual Ingalls homestead in Mansfield, MO. It is a neat place to visit if you are a Little House fan. I am also a fourth grade teacher, so I read the Little House in the Big Woods to my students every year. Great giveaway! I hope I win!

What a great giveaway! I loved all the episodes! Really can't pick a favorite. When I was a kid I wrote to the movie stars. I was a happy gal the day my "autographed" photo arrived from the cast of Little House On The Prarie! I also was VERY fortunate to see Michael Landon when he came to Tucson,AZ for a celebrity softball game.Such great memories! Enjoy the play! I can't wait to hear about it.-disneygirl0001@yahoo.com

I can't pick a favorite episode since I was so busy staring at Michael Landon, I kind of missed the theme of each episode! LOL. I will say that Nellie as the epitome of meanness really made the show seem real. Like real life, there's always one in every crowd!

I always loved Little House too and was devastated when we lost Micheal Landon, he was one of my favorite actors since his time on Bonanza, but you're way too young for that one! There have been so many wonderful shows over the years that it is hard to pick a favorite. One of my favs was Christy, it wasn't on a long time, but I love that show. Christy is my favorite book of all times.
Recent shows that are my favorites are all the criminal investigation shows like CSI and NCIS, a new one that I love is Three Rivers.
Hope you love the performance tonight! Thanks for your generosity!

I love Little House. My husband thinks I'm nuts because I watch the reruns and still cry a lot while watching.
I related more to the Walton's. They seemed more like my own family. They had 7 kids and I had 9 kids in my family.
I liked Christy too. So you see it's real hard for me to pick just one.
I hope you enjoy the Little House musical. Give us a review.

hi Robyn!

I too love all the Little House on the Prairie shows! I always watch the reruns. They were such tearjerkers!! My favorite show was when Laura sold her horse to Mr. Olson so that she could give her mom a stove for Christmas. Nells gave the horse to Nellie for Christmas. That to me was such a tearjerker when Nell shows up at their cabin to get the horse from Laura and she hands it over to him.....oh my gosh I am making myself cry. That was always a must see series I enjoyed watching...I dont think I missed a single show! I even named my daughter Laura!!
I am sure that you will enjoy the show! Take care!
